The small fridge in the room automatically shuts off after 2 hrs and doesn't stay at a safe temperature to store breast milk. The front desk advised to just use an ice bucket. This is problematic because (1) you will have to continually refill the ice bucket and (2) there is limited capacity. After an escalation to the manager, they offered to hold my milk behind the front desk in their fridge. I am not comfortable with that ”solution” nor do I want to go back and forth to the front desk for my baby's bottles and milk storage. He advised they previously provided medical fridges but they currently do not do so. I am so beyond disappointed. I expected so much more from this brand and now have to figure out something to do with my milk for my exclusively breast fed baby. Ugh, don't they have mother's stay at this property!? Marriott, do better!

We stayed for the weekend and were not disappointed. I’m one of those people that do tons of research before choosing a hotel. This one is priced well and is so cozy and welcoming. We stayed in one of the city view rooms which I would totally recommend. The night before I got a notification on the Hilton app saying it’s time to choose my room and I was able to choose a corner room with a view of the city on both sides and it was quite large. Being able to choose your room and know which one you’ll be in when you arrive is great. This hotel is in a great spot and only a few minute walk to an L train station for all of your transportation needs. The neighborhood is pretty quiet from what I saw. We loved the full size pump bottles in the bathroom of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap. The front desk staff was always welcoming and answered any questions I had. I would recommend the skyline room. We stayed in room 1815 and had a great view of the city. The only downsides were that the windows were quite dirty and the parking garage was tiny but I understand those aren’t necessarily problems that can be fixed easily. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone else looking for a place to stay in Chicago.

The hotel is very clean and tidy. The biggest feature of the room is the floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the window is very clear. Although there is no bustling Michigan Avenue, it is still good! There is a bar on the 18th floor of the hotel, not big. The hotel has a restaurant on the left side of the hotel entrance, named Somerset, in the room can also book this restaurant in the room dinning, about twenty or thirty minutes to deliver the meal to the room. I really like the bathroom's minimalist wash suit, which is white tea, especially fragrant and comfortable. Shopping, dining and entertainment are nearby. Not far from there are Chinese restaurants, such as Imperial Lamian, Old Sichuan, MingHin Cuisine, Shanghai Terrance, which are just a few minutes from Uber. Royal chef and old Sichuan are very popular! It is also 10 minutes from the hotel to the famous scenic spot Michigan Avenue, which is also close to Navy Pier and Millennium Park. The fly in the ointment is that the sound insulation in the hotel is not good, the guests from the opposite side of the room can hear the opening of the door, but the overall is good!

We stayed for a night, upgraded to a lakefront room. Great location, great rooms. The only issue I had was the AC was not working that well. We didn’t even use the sheets or our blanket we got so hot. Also the bar is a little over expensive. Other then that great stay! I’d stay again but bring a fan and our own bottle next time :)

Hotel is very nice and kept up well. The only reasons I have three stars include lack of parking, lack of towels in the room and lack of plates, bowls and flatware at breakfast. On arrival, the check in process was smooth and staff was friendly. We received bottled water. Parking was non existent. Apparently the hotel has only 20 spots for more than 200 rooms. They have no arrangements for off site parking. Though parking is at a premium in Chicago, this is ratio of available parking spots is not reasonable. It took close to 45 minutes to find a parking spot, in front of the McDonalds Hamburger University. In our room, there were no towels of any kind. We asked for towels and they were brought up promptly. Breakfast was sufficient, but at the time we were there, 9-930a, plates bowls and flatware were always missing and weren’t replenished for prolonged periods of time. The room with kitchenette and sofa bed was well kept and clean. It was quite roomy for our family of five. Only complaint was the loud music from a neighboring building that was heard by our room’s outside wall.

We stayed at ES mag mile in October. There were 2 couples and since we arrived early morning I called ahead and paid 35$ to have a early check in in one of our rooms. Only one was available for that. We appreciated being able to leave our luggage, freshen up and do a little exploring. I have to say we were only able to do one complimentary morning breakfast since it ended at 9:30. It was fine and a basic breakfast. We did not have to wait long and there was seating. The evening social was pretty sp**** and really no more than salsa, chips and a few veggie sticks. Our room was dated but we had a comfortable bed and a pretty good view of the river from the 11th floor. Water pressure was low and the bathroom lighting was very dim. I did makeup in the room window for light. Overall the room was clean and mostly quiet( noisy neighbor) and we rested well. People were nice and as helpful as possible.
