Hyatt Centric Hotels in Chicago

The hotel is in a very good location. There is Starbucks downstairs. It is convenient to eat next to Friday. There is a whole food supermarket on the street. The fruit food is very good. You can walk to the scenic spot by the lake. This time, you can book a twin room, a big three. Lived very well, gave three free drinks coupons, luggage service is very good

The staff were amazing so I want everyone to know that part. This is not the front desk staff. Now on to the bad…. The rooms are not clean. I dislike having to say this. But it’s facts. When walking in the room- first thing we notice is a huge pretty fresh stain on floor that screamed puke. It was attempted to be cleaned but the orange stain was disgusting. The windows were smudged. The glass tables had finger prints all over. The walls had dried splashes of who knows what and edges around the room at knee high were full of dust. Soap was left in shower and the floor when the door was opened and closed was disgusting. No liners in garbage cans. The front desk was very understanding and switched us rooms. Problem was it was a downsize. We lived through it but will all the hotels we have stayed in while in the city - (dozens- as we are only 2 hours away and like to stay at different places) this one unfortunately we will not be returning too.
