Best hotel in Chengdu we absolutely loved it!!! Also the staff is very kind, they offered us fruits! The room was amazing in chinese style. The tea in the room is good. All the amenities are good, good hairdryer too 😆 they even offer night porridge 😆 Position is excellent. I didn't expect this quality before coming!

This is a very nice hotel with an excellent breakfast and very friendly personnel. Conveniently located within walking distance of several attractions and subway stations. Very quiet. Try to get a room with window. The room was comfortable and spacious. In the evenings we could hear soembody playing traditional Chinese music as the street below is full of musical instrument shops. If we come back to Chengdu we will definetly try to stay here again.

Originally, I found a place to open black with friends temporarily. I didn't expect the environment and facilities of this e-sports hotel to directly exceed expectations. After staying, I decisively joined the collection. I will open black here in the future! The environment is clean and surprising, and there is no clutter in the traditional e-sports space. The room was spotless, the desktop and keyboard gaps could not see half a little dust, and the headset also had a refreshing feeling after disinfection, so I felt particularly relieved to use it. The ventilation is superb, there is no stuffy smell of heat dissipation, even the bedding is neatly laid, lying down is full of soft feeling of sunlight, and you can sleep in seconds when you are tired. The overall color is low-saturated technology wind, the lights are not dazzling, the atmosphere is full when it is dark, and it is very warm when resting.

The entire hotel evokes a refreshing tropical jungle ambiance. Its sprawling size is beyond imagination, with shuttle carts constantly ferrying guests around. Both the staff and their service attitude are absolutely top-notch! During both check-in and check-out, they were incredibly proactive, practically vying to assist us with our luggage! From exquisite cuisine and stunning scenery to comfortable rooms, extensive recreational facilities, and a delectable Southeast Asian-themed seafood buffet, the hotel offers an all-encompassing resort experience. It's truly the perfect choice for a hotel-focused getaway in Chengdu. The hotel embraces the Ocean Park and is itself surrounded by an array of amenities including shopping malls, retail outlets, and diverse dining options. It's genuinely a paradise for families with children! Our dedicated private butler, Annie, was assigned to us by the hotel! From the moment we arrived, she accompanied us throughout, patiently explaining all the hotel's facilities, services, and important details. Upon discovering that our family of three only had two breakfasts included, she immediately upgraded the breakfast service for our little one! We are incredibly grateful for this! P.S. All breakfasts are freshly prepared by the chefs right on the spot! Our family enjoyed playing in the Ocean Park so much that we exceeded the extended 2 PM check-out time the hotel generously offered! Despite having already cleaned our room, the housekeeping staff enthusiastically allowed us back in to shower and change, and then proceeded to clean the room *again*! While feeling incredibly apologetic, we were profoundly impressed by the hotel's truly guest-centric service philosophy! The InterContinental Chengdu Global Center remains our absolute top and only choice whenever we visit Chengdu!

Whenever I travel to a city, if there's an Ascott property (Ascott, Somerset, or Citadines), it's always my first choice; they consistently feel like a home away from home. The rooms are spacious and come equipped with a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine – perfect if you prefer to cook a simple meal or order takeout instead of dining out. Having a washing machine also significantly adds to the comfort of the trip. Both housekeeping and the front desk staff are incredibly responsive and provide excellent service. During my four-day stay, the breakfast spread was impressive. Beyond the usual staples like bread, salads, and fruits, the hot dishes rarely repeated, offering something fresh and new each morning. We were also fortunate enough to experience a Southeast Asian Food Festival during our visit, which meant delicious Southeast Asian-inspired dishes and desserts were available every day. Ascott properties are typically co-located with shopping malls, and this one in Chengdu, part of Raffles City, is no exception. It's incredibly convenient with a Hema Fresh supermarket located in the basement, making it easy to pick up fruits, drinks, and other daily necessities. With direct access to the subway station right outside, transportation is incredibly convenient. Additionally, Yulin Road, just a block away, is fantastic for its food scene and a pleasant area to explore. And I highly recommend 'San Que Yi' restaurant located behind the hotel – their food is absolutely delicious and it's a must-visit for me every time I'm in town!

At first, I was looking for a hotel that could accommodate four people with two bathrooms — something surprisingly hard to find. Somerset Riverview Chengdu turned out to be the perfect choice for what we needed. The room layout, convenient location, and reasonable price made it an excellent value. All the staff members were very kind, polite, and professional. Their service was excellent throughout our stay. The room was spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. Although the furniture looked a little old, everything was well maintained and worked perfectly. Before coming, I read several reviews saying the breakfast wasn’t great — but honestly, it was much better than expected! There was a wide variety of dishes that changed every day, and everything tasted delicious. There were always staff downstairs ready to assist and even help operate the elevator. The elevator area always smelled fresh and pleasant. The hotel is close to convenience stores and coffee shops, and if you plan to travel elsewhere, you can easily leave your luggage at the front desk — there’s always someone on duty 24 hours a day. Overall, I was very impressed with my stay here. Somerset Riverview Chengdu truly lives up to Ascott’s standards — comfortable, well-managed, and highly recommended!

I booked a standard room on the 11th floor for three nights. **The Good:** The bellhops were excellent, very attentive and quick to anticipate needs. The front desk staff were friendly and made check-in a pleasant experience with some engaging small talk. The hotel staff I contacted via WeChat beforehand responded instantly and provided timely assistance. Room cleaning was meticulous and prompt; I drink a lot of coffee, and they always replenished it without delay. The overall facilities felt new, and breakfast was superb. The gym was absolutely fantastic! The Smith machine was incredibly smooth, and there were three bench press stations. Towels and bottled water were provided on each machine. I did fasted strength training every morning, and almost every time I visited, I saw cleaning staff wiping down the equipment. They even had Pilates equipment. My workouts were high-quality every day. The location was very convenient, with direct access to a shopping mall from B1. I was there purely to enjoy the hotel, and dining and shopping were incredibly easy. **The Not-So-Good:** 1. For all three nights of our stay, we heard someone singing downstairs starting from the first evening. After raising this with the hotel, we found out it was a street performer with a large speaker, who only stopped around 10:30 PM. After my initial feedback, I expressed hope that this wouldn't happen again the next day. The hotel even sent a fruit platter as an apology. However, the singing started again promptly at 8 PM the following day. That evening, the hotel offered us a room change, but it was quite late, and we were genuinely tired, so we just put up with it. I understand that the hotel can't control what people do outside on the street, and they are somewhat helpless in this situation. However, as a guest paying over 1,000 RMB per night, having to endure this unavoidable noise was truly frustrating. 2. On our last night, my mom was bitten by bed bugs. She killed the bug and showed it to the staff. I also believe that ”sh*t happens” and it's a low-probability, unavoidable incident. But it's genuinely something that shouldn't occur at a hotel of W's caliber. The hotel staff addressed it immediately, and in the end, they gave us two panda plush toys (which just made us laugh). **In summary:** I really liked this hotel overall, and it's truly a pity about these issues.

A triple room with a self-service washing machine and dryer was my top priority when booking. **Pros:** 1. The staff were very service-minded, relatively young, and enthusiastic. 2. The complimentary buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. I was particularly impressed to see a hotel with two coffee machines, which was a great touch. 3. The beds and bedding were very comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water. 4. Having a washing machine and dryer available was a lifesaver for our laundry needs. 5. The gym was well-equipped, featuring air conditioning, fresh towels, and complimentary bottled mineral water. **Cons:** 1. Some of the hotel's facilities felt a bit dated, but they were all perfectly functional. Whenever we reported an issue to the front desk, an engineer was dispatched promptly to resolve it, so our overall experience remained positive. 2. The washing machine and dryer are separate units, with typical cycles taking 25 and 45 minutes respectively. This means it can be inconvenient if you finish washing but then have to wait for a dryer to become available. It's not as advanced as some high-tech domestic chains that offer integrated washer-dryers and even allow guests to check their availability from their rooms. 3. The hotel is quite a distance from the subway station, and to make matters worse, the nearest subway entrance is currently under construction. **Summary:** Although the hotel is named 'Du Fu Thatched Cottage Branch,' it's actually over 5 kilometers away and requires a taxi to reach. However, if your itinerary is focused on the northwest part of the city, this hotel could be a suitable option, and getting a taxi from the entrance is very convenient.

The hotel boasts a very convenient location. Xiangnanli is right downstairs, and there's a large shopping mall within 200 meters, offering a one-stop destination for all your dining, entertainment, and shopping needs. The service was equally outstanding. The front desk staff were very attentive, providing thoughtful reminders for everything. For any in-room requests, someone was at our door within five minutes of a phone call.

Everything is great about this hotel, it’s super conveniently located, the room is clean and the bed is comfy. The shower works well and there’s everything in the room that you need. The staff also speaks English and very polite, ready to help. I will definitely stay here again when I come to Chengdu.
