What I liked most about this hotel is the location. There is so much life and food and things to do. It’s in a non vehicle area and you gave to walk 50m from the taxi drop off but this is easy. DiDi worked well from this drop off/pick up. Many thanks to Xioa Long for all her assistance.

Nice modernist hotel, with old world charm. Close to Wenshu Monastery, and lots of restaurants and shops at your doorstep. One of the female receptionist can speak English and can assist with recommendations for local places to dine, etc. There are also at least a dozen live theatres within a few hundred metres radius.

A very soothing and quiet place amidst the market outside. Staffs are helpful and friendly.

Great location, very calm surrounding. Close to subway. Good breakfast, with plenty of choice. Staff speaks English and are very friendly. Two remarks: Windows were open when we arrived so the room was very cold. The bathroom did not smell nice (weird odour). Overall a great experience.

The hotel exudes a rustic charm that adds to its unique appeal. While there are no lifts, the staff are always ready to assist with carrying luggage, which I greatly appreciated. The hospitality was truly outstanding, with special mention to staff member 石远志. When I fell ill during my stay, he went above and beyond to ensure my well-being by personally escorting me to the clinic and offering salt-sugar water for recovery. His attentiveness and care were heartwarming. Overall, the staff were incredibly hospitable and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service!

When we arrived, the concierge spoke good English and understood the rules around 15 day visa free stays in China (I've had trouble with other hotels on this trip wanting to see my mother's visa when she doesn't have one). The hotel is extremely beautiful with ornate fittings and Chengdu embroideries. Our room had a lovely balcony that overlooked the quaint street below. The location is in the middle of a shopping district that is expensive but contains beautiful woodwork, embroideries and jewellery for sale. There are a couple of theatres in the area showing Sichuan face change opera which was the highlight of our stay. The hotel will arrange for your laundry to be washed, but even without dry cleaning, it was expensive. The breakfast service was great.

The hotel is exquisitely decorated in traditional Chinese architecture, furnished with traditional Chinese furniture and fitted with all the modern conveniences as well as technologies. The location is central and super convenient. The services are exemplary. All the staff members we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. We will stay here again next time and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

We liked our stay at Buddha Zen, with some room for improvement. Pro: - Very reasonable rate, no prepayment needed (even if we chose to for our convenience) - Nice room - Excellent location for tourism - Nice and polite service (except for one member of the cleaning staff) Cons: - Our room has not been cleaned and we had to ask to - I asked for conditioner because it was finished, it was not replaced - Breakfast could be improved I would still recommend it as the quality price ratio is quite good.

Nice location in Chengdu, pretty building. Breakfast is a bit boring and the walls are not so thick so I could hear the TV of the neighbours during the night..

Great Service, Clean room, close to Wenshu Monastery. Especially good service at the reception with an english speaking receptionist. Very helpfull.

Great stay near Wenshu Monastery with many small restaurants nearby. Hotel is well decorated in a typical Chinese style, we loved it and would come back again. Breakfast was not bad but could improved.

Always stay at OIO when I can. Convenient location, nearby to metro line 1, Tianfu Square, art gallery, museums and old Muslim area (great food) behind CD museum. OIO warm and friendly staff, peaceful .

The place was nice but no laundry, also the breakfast could be better but our stay was very pleasant.

Hotel is near temple and train station. Staff English was very limited. Room was average. Many restaurants nearby. Very noisy air conditioning.
