Not the first time.. been here a few time b4 pandemic. Love the location beside Sarinah.. Minutes away to Grand Indonesia, Thamrin city or Tanah Abang for your shopping needs... Near Sabang street for your local food hunt. And minutes away to Gambir train station... Under 40 min to Airport Place... Does feel great.. cosy n nice.. a few maintenance can be done to make it perfect place to stay... Food wise... Breakfast.. superb.. never fail.. never fail at any Artotel Branches ... Kudos to the team

I request for non smoking room, however they gave me smoking room. Even they said alrd clean up etc but the smell sticks to every corner of the room, i call again to complain and the staff only bring a sanitizer or spray over the room, trying to cover the cigaratte smell which just make it worse. The bed pillow blanket everything stick with the cigaretter smell, the next day ask to change room but to no avail, reason was it was fully booked, i gave up. On each side of the bedside table i expect at least each socket on side but no, only found 1 socket at the bottom area. I had a hard time when i need to charge 2phone, watch and powerbank. Overall the location is really great.

I have pleasant experience staying here. Location was great! Staff was great! I love the smoking area/alley - always being kept clean and its airconditioned too! will definitely keep on coming to this hotel

A renovated hotel downtown looks nice but has some things that could be improved. Similar to OYO, which has gained popularity in India, Jakarta has also seen a rise in renovation-type hotels. The advantages are clear: good location, updated facilities (though the building beneath the wall is old), and efficient operations. However, soundproofing is poor due to the age of the building. I could hear the sound of a live band playing on the ground floor, even on the 5th floor, and a guest on the 3rd floor complained to the front desk the following day. The air conditioning is also outdated, leaking water from the AC on the 5th-floor corridor. There’s no privacy curtain, just blackout ones, making it hard to let in natural light. There is no car waiting zone in front. Considering the location, facilities, and operations, USD65, including tax, service, and breakfast, is reasonable.

I stay this hotel 2nd time everything is fine but I can hear music sound in the night from some restaurants near the hotel so, I cannot sleep well.

Location was good. A few minutes walk from Bundaran HI MRT station. Decor was hip. Some hiccups from my stay though. Sound proofing was mediocre and I could hear my neighbours' kids screaming in the early hours. Laundry service was also disappointing as I had to go down to the reception to chase for my washed clothes.

Good stay, strategic area. Will stay here again as it is value for money!

Strategic location and near Sharina mall. There were street food near the hotel. The staffs were helpful and friendly. However for the chairs in the lobby were quite hot especially at the noon. May be it can be reposition.

Artotel Thamin was beyond my expectations. Superior service and experience. Staff kindly helped me with luggage delays from airport. They are gracious and professional. Ambience is so creative, beautiful and cultural. As an artist, I felt like I was home. Breakfast is excellent quality. Great value. Highly recommend!

Love everything about this hotel. Clean, cute and big room with 2 basins alin the bathroom, hallway smells nice, breakfast buffet is just adequate and tasty, location is perfect. Would stay here again.

Located right beside Sarinah, it’s really in central Jakarta! If you travel by public transportation in Jakarta, the MRT is a 5-7 minutes walk away from a staircase-only exit, otherwise there’s a dedicated busway stop within a 3-5 minutes walk!

Very convenient location esp for food. Few big malls just walking distance
