Hotels in Mactan, Cebu

We had such a lovely time. I’d definitely go back! My daughter was over the moon at their waterpark, and celebrating her birthday there made it extra special. The staff were wonderful, the service was great, and everything about our stay felt smooth and easy. The weather was perfect, and to top it off, when our original room wasn’t available due to maintenance, they surprised us with a free upgrade. It truly made the whole experience even better.

We checked in late from a night time flight. Upon entering the room, a huge cockroach maybe two inches long ran across the floor til I smacked him. There was many small ones in the bathroom as well.  The sliding doors to the balcony don’t seem to shut well so you will hear cars easily all night.  Hotel and room are pretty old and dated.  The included breakfast was very small as well. We got one egg, one hotdog cut in three and rice. A cup of juice as well.  WiFi was great and worked well for work meetings and WiFi calling.

The room was well-lit and bright, which put me in a great mood every morning! There are also many convenient restaurants nearby. However, the downside was the lack of hot water; it was only lukewarm, not hot enough for a comfortable shower, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, instead of bottled mineral water, they provided reusable glass bottles of water, so those who mind might want to consider that. The beach area is quite small, but the swimming pool is beautiful. If you're looking forward to the beach, you might be disappointed.

This hotel is fantastic! There was an issue and the staff were quick to resolve it. The room very spacious, and clean. The only problem with my stay here, is that I didn't want to leave. I highly recommend this hotel to all who come visit the Philippines. They get an one million rating from me.

It's relatively close to the airport, but walking to the terminal with a carry-on in the heat was tough. If you walk up a small slope, the airport shuttle bus comes by, and I think it was only 15 pesos. There's a small mall, supermarket, and restaurants within walking distance, so you won't have trouble during your stay. The shower only has cold water, and there's no hairdryer. The only amenity provided was a toothbrush.

I had a pleasant stay at Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although adding more local dishes would make it even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers.

Stayed for about 8 hours while waiting for my flight. It's a small place but really great, perfect if you don't want to venture out. In the evening, you can watch the sunset and enjoy beautiful views from the hotel's rooftop bar. There are local amenities nearby, like a mall and McDonald's. It's perfectly fine for a short stay. The room had a great view too. Very good, worth it.

I love this place because it is a big property with many different parts and things to do. There really many pools, an aqua park, an inflatable island on a large pool, a game room, a bar, a restaurant, a souvenir shop (that also sells basic medicines and toiletry needs), bathrooms, a garden, the beach front. If you are a family with children of different ages and even if you have grandparents in tow, this would be perfect. They’re not stingy with lounge chairs either and in one pool, you can play volleyball. Their rooms are good sized and comes with a small ref, hair dryer, a carafe and free tea and coffee. Their breakfast buffet is awesome with sooo many food and drinks to choose from. There is a BDO cash machine and their staff are very helpful and polite. Grab food are not allowed to deliver at the lobby, they can only make it to the gate of the property and while it is not far to walk there, you can ask for free shuttle to bring you to the gate to claim your order and then back to the lobby. They also take credit cards and water stations on each floor where you can refill your water bottles. There are 2 large water bottles in each room. I think the one issue I have is - I perceived this resort to be family friendly because of the many kinds of activities for different ages but our rooms came with bathrooms that has glass wall where a person outside the bathroom can pull up the blinds. I mean, why? When I booked the rooms, it didn’t mention that the bathroom would be like that. I wish they would provide a distinction during booking so that people who don’t want bathrooms to be like that can avoid it.

The location is pretty convenient, there’s many places to eat and a 7-eleven all reachable at a few mins walk. Friendly and helpful staff, but they don’t provide toilet paper or water. The room looks very clean superficially but there were a few spider webs (not small) and I couldn’t see the dust but it had to be dusty because I am allergic and I kept sneezing often while I was in the room. Other than that it was a good stay overall, the room didn’t have windows so for a short stay it doesn’t bother me, it actually improved a lot my sleep. They charge a 100php deposit for the remote for the tv that will be given back once you leave, it’s a smart tv💯
