The Villa 604 powered by Look

This is the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in Egypt these days. It is in the villa area. It is very stylish, very clean, and very quiet. If you want to live in a downtown area for shopping, it is not suitable, but people who like quiet must be very I like it. The price is 300 to 400 RMB. It is much better than many Chinese B&Bs at the same price. However, all hotels in Egypt do not have combs, slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. You need to bring your own.

Lemon Tree & Home

N times better than I thought. The house is big. In the new Egyptian villa area, within3KM from the large shopping mall. The boss is Chinese. It is convenient to communicate. I also sent me a carton packaged gift to return home. I will stay here next time! The bath water is particularly large 24h hot water. Unlike other bath hotels in Egypt, the water is very small. It is recommended to stay!

Great place to base out of when visiting Cairo. The rooms are clean and the staff (especially Anas) are super friendly while doing whatever they can to make your staff in Egypt the best. They've got connections and can even help with making tour recommendations and reservations. Best of all, there is no pressure to take additional services if the price isn't what you had in mind. They're very accommodating . In fact they are more of a family run business while focusing more on you as a person and less as a customer. You'll come as strangers but leave as friends.
Holy Sheet Hostel

This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on Expedia and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.
Midtown Hostel

The hotel is located on the 5th floor and there are no staff on the floor. The elevator needs a key to get up. So we were unable to do anything when we arrived, and we asked for help. It took almost half an hour to get to the hotel. depressed! The room was clean, but the mosquitoes were super! We stayed late, and the result was temporarily transferred to the bathroom outside the room, not very convenient. The hotel is indeed in the city center, but on the one-way street, playing Uber is very inconvenient, and the driver always takes a long time to arrive.
