Really exceptional hotel, with a pleasant and efficient service ( specialy Nasher, boss flour 8) a very good restaurant and s wonderful jazz bar with direct excellent music . Nice swinging pool

Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Especially the staff who wearing blue work uniform,they call him Benmen maybe,he was really supportive staff,he is super nice,he taught me how to call the driver on the Uber and not be tricked by the driver.Everything he can help.I felt thankful to him.Also location was quite and safe.They have updated my room,the room was great and big enough,every room have balcony.The design of hotel was excellent.and there are cafe,cinema,shops.It’s very convenient. I felt so comfortable to stayed in AL MASA hotel. I will choose here if i go to Cairo again

One of the best stays. The service is amazing. The gym has the most amazing view of the Nile river. The staff is very attentive and make sure you have a luxurious stay. Our room had the Nile view and was on the 14th floor. The hotel gets busy in the evenings. The hotel has the best food and also it has a lot of food joints opposite the road which requires 20 EP.

Staying at Le Meridian was very convenient and comfortable for our long layover. The food was great and staying in the club room is definitely worth it.

A great time spent. Although it was short. Loved the space provided for us and the kids were happy / comfortable. Would recommend to others to stay for sure. Cant wait to come back again.

This hotel was better than expected. We didnt stay at our usual hotel as the prices for Cairo currently are very high so this was the first time at this hotel. The location is really good - pharmacies, restaurants, kiosks and a Metro market all with 30 seconds walk of the hotel and of course Zamalek is really central so a good hub for Uber and getting around the city. Prior reviews are pretty bad but we found the hotel incredibly clean, the side nile view room we had was large, well appointed, the furniture was certainly not tired and we were pleased with the room from a comfort and business perspective. WIFI worked well, a desk in the room and settee and the bed was GREAT. They really dont have any facilities and there is no gym which is an issue for us but we knew this before booking but there are many gyms close by so dont let this be an issue - just GOOGLE! The breakfast by Egyptian standards was alright. The big plus is the omlette/egg station and they also do morning crepes. Fruit, hot food section, breads,, salads etc and frankly it does the job. Egyptians do breakfast really well so although this is a bit below par on an Egyptian level - on a European level it is very good compared to your travelodges and Holiday Inn Express's in the UK. The staff as always are friendly, attentive and yes you need to tip but this is the same in all Egypt - average tip is 20 EGP. Leave something to housekeeping and you will get lot of extras eg extra coffee etc. I liked the hotel, the other reviewers I think may have been there as tourists expecting something different but frankly this is a good tourist class hotel and its always a good sign when you see Egyptians staying which there were.

The room was very beautiful. The hotel is situated in old buildings andhas old furniture but thats whats giving it its special spirit. The pool is avarage size-not big, not small and the deep is around 165cm. The water needs to be cleaned. But its very good for kids and also for adults. In the night there were swimming courses for kids from outside the hotel, which made the garden area very crowded and noisy. Our big thanks belongs to Mai from reception. She was very proffesional, helpfull and made our stay comfortable.

Amazing service! The room and the hotel are top class and the staff is really polite. Michael Samy is particularly extremely friendly and supportive. I've visited this hotel many times, and each time Michael is always there to help and is so genuine. We arrived to Cairo to stay at the marriot hotel, a former beautiful palace. Unfortunately and even though we were given a really nice garden view room, we had some problems (noises) with the bathroom pipes during the night. Nevertheless the following day we explained the problem and we were not only changed without any question but offered an even better room! Thanks Qamar for all your help! This is what a 5 star hotel should be!

In the relatively disorderly Egypt, it is still very important to choose the Sofitel international chain brand. The room is slightly small but the mattress is comfortable, and the balcony overlooks the Nile. The Kabbage Middle Eastern restaurant on the first floor has a good view and delicious food.
