"Hotel is great in general. Location is excellent. It’s just a 5 min walk from Vienna Central Station (Wien Hbf), you can literally see the station from the hotel. Metro station (Keplerplatz) is just 10 min walk from the hotel. Self check in, room is neat, most importantly noise blocking is pretty good at night. They tidy your room every three nights, but you could always ask for a fresh set of towels at the reception."

"First time experience where I had to self check in.. was relatively smooth experience.
Location is very next to the main station, and therefore very convenient should you have connecting trains to go elsewhere in Europe.
The rooms were just right, had everything you need including a place to cook if you must. Only thing to complain about if anything was the lack of a proper fan as the tiny fan was no good as Austria is quite warm during summer. Highlight of the trip for my wife was discovering the laundry room.
Overall great experience and both of us really liked it."

"This hotel was lovely. Very clean and good decent sized rooms. Good location from the train station, just over the road so although we found it was a little walk to get to places which we didn’t mind we also had the option to take the metro and train which all located very close. Staff helpful and have a luggage storage. Beds in the room very comfortable.
There are takeaway close by and restaurants for bite to eats and reasonably priced as outside the centre."

If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.
"First the good then the not so good. Property is a short walk from Vienna Central station which is really convenient. Room is spacious and facilities are new which is a rare occurrence here. However the front desk seems to have little clues. We were repeatedly redirected between 2 staff while checking in and were asked to pay eur 25 for sofa beds which was part of the room we paid for. It was only upon insistence and showing correspondence were the additional charges waived. Overall good hardware but need to manage the expectations of the staff here."

"A new and modern hotel by the subway line U4, easy to take public transit to the historical part of the city, a lot of restaurants and a super market nearby. The breakfast buffet is very good. The rooms are soundproof but the room door is heavy as a result you would hear a loud sound if your next door neighbor was not mindful about it. There is no kettle in the room so you will have to borrow one from the reception desk if you are lucky."

"The location is excellent and really close to the main train station. It was easy to get around as it’s near the underground line U1 that gets you to Karlsplatz (just 2 stops) which is near the major tourist spots. As we were there during the heatwave, it was convenient enough for us to go back to the hotel when we’re tired for a rest before heading back out again. The hotel is clean, contemporary and modern. It’s also easy to get to the airport (only 15 mins) as there is a direct train service from the main train station to the airport that runs every half hourly. Overall we’re really happy to with our stay and would definitely consider staying here again is we ever come to Vienna again."

"Lovely place near the bus/metro stations. Too bad the Kagran station from town was closed when I was there but it takes a back turn from the next station so not too inconvenient.
Great work by the reception offering us options for on the early check in. As we arrive super early and needed to keep our bags"

As someone who’s traveled extensively, I’ve seen my share of beautiful hotels. Many shine on the surface, but very few have what this place has a soul. And that soul comes from the people.
What struck me most during my stay wasn’t just the elegance or the comfort. It was the warmth, the attention to detail, and the sense of care from every single person I met. From the housekeepers to the receptionists, the breakfast staff to the management, every interaction felt meaningful.
In the hotel industry, teamwork is everything. It’s like the gears of a watch. Every single cog, no matter how small or large, plays a vital role. If one is missing, the clock stops ticking. And at The Ritz-Carlton, every cog turns perfectly.
Breakfast, for instance, was an experience I won’t forget. Their Eggs Benedict was the best I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t just about the dish. It was the way it was served, with care, with pride, and with the intent to make my morning special.
To everyone who works here: thank you. You’re not just doing a job, you’re creating moments that stay with people. You turned my stay into something I’ll look back on with a smile, and that’s not something that happens everywhere.

--Nancy-Austria Trend Hotel Schönbrunn Wien was absolutely gorgeous. The ambience was warm and inviting, and its location—right in front of Schönbrunn Palace—made it a wonderful choice for those visiting the palace. There were plenty of nearby shops and cafes, which added to the convenience.
However, if you’re planning to do sightseeing in the main city, transportation is something to consider. You’d either need to take a taxi (about 15–20 minutes) or a tram (around 45 minutes). So, while this hotel is perfect for a Schönbrunn-focused stay, it might not be the most convenient base for exploring the entire city.
The staff were friendly, but one issue stood out—housekeeping. On our morning of departure, cleaning staff knocked on our door around 10–11 AM, seemingly checking when we would be leaving. Since checkout was at 12 noon, it felt like they were unnecessarily rushing us, which was a bit frustrating.
Another concern arose after checkout. We left our luggage near the baggage room at reception to explore more, and upon returning, the staff couldn’t locate our bags—even though we had the receipt given by the staff when we dropped them off. Instead, we were asked to search through the luggage ourselves in a room full of other guests’ belongings. This didn’t feel very secure, as it seemed possible for someone to mistakenly—or even intentionally—take another person’s bags. Better monitoring or improved staff training in this area would certainly enhance the experience.
Despite these issues, the hotel was lovely, and the staff were welcoming overall. With a few improvements in housekeeping procedures and baggage storage security, this could be an even better place to stay.

Rich variety of breakfast
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the Vienna Main Station, and there is a tram passing by the door. The Belvedere Palace is next door, which makes it convenient for us to explore this beautiful city.
The staff were friendly and helpful and there was no problem at all with luggage storage.
We had a great time here and look forward to visiting again in the future.

VVerified Member🏨🚇🥐🧼🏙️ I think the hotel is in a very well-connected area. It’s about a 20-minute walk from the main bus and train terminal and just a short metro ride into Old Town for all your sightseeing needs.
The room was spacious with solid housekeeping and a clean, well-kept bathroom. No complaints regarding cleanliness — everything was taken care of. One thing to note is that the hotel is massive. We were given the very last room at the end of a long corridor, which meant it took nearly five minutes to walk to the elevator. So when you check in, I recommend asking for a room closer to the elevator, otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle going back and forth.
Something that left a bad taste was only being told at checkout that breakfast would be charged as an extra. My honest tip is that if you do decide to have breakfast, just don’t mention it. With the number of guests they manage, it’s unlikely they’ll track who actually showed up at the buffet. The breakfast itself was average — your typical hotel spread. The eggs tasted a bit off, but I made it work with multiple cappuccinos from the machine, plus some sausages and toast to fill up.
Overall, nothing fancy, but probably great value considering how expensive Vienna can be. Most importantly, the hotel is very well connected to public transit, with a metro station just a five-minute walk away. That line has frequent trains to and from Old Town, which made sightseeing super convenient.
I’ll probably stay here again, though I don’t think the breakfast is worth the price, and I do wish they had been more upfront about the cost from the beginning.

JJiachengNice apartment just steps away from the U-Bahn station, all kinds of cooking stuff are provided. Comfortable big bed. The room is clean and big, excellent condition for a solo traveler.
The hotel really relies on self-services, I did not meet a single employee, all the check-in/out work is done by yourself at the ipad in the front desk.
Note that they do not provide slippers, shampoo, soap or toothbrush/toothpaste, so you better bring your own with you.

SSlobIt's OK place to stay a night or 2, would be good if I could apply for car parking at the time of booking because I didn't see the option. Bus and Tram stations are right there and Metro is 6-7min walk from the hotel. Room was clean and staff was really helpful. I can recommend.
