Perfect location, Busan station exit 1, you will find the hotel easily and there is taxi stand in front of the hotel. Bus station is very near by walk. Luggage storage free service also paid locker as option. Breakfast is great, with various food choices, but it will limit time until 9 am only. Check out is too early at 10 am. Room amenities are value for the room price.

Booked the corner room for the view. View was amazing but the window was dirty. Def need some cleaning. Very comfortable bedding, but bathroom too small. Toilet and shower was right next to each other without a stall separating them. FD staff nice when checking-in. A different staff who received the baggage ticket to retrieve our bag after c/o try to pass us other persons’s bag without checking the ticket. She didn't say sorry nor looked happy at all. Maybe she was having a bad day.

Dear Lotte Hotel Busan Team,
I recently stayed at your property and would like to thank your staff for their hospitality. I truly appreciated the comfort of the room, the excellent location, and the warm and courteous service throughout my visit.
However, I would like to share one piece of feedback that left a less-than-positive impression. As a guest staying at a premium hotel like Lotte, I had expected that access to facilities such as the pool, sauna and gym would be included as part of the room package. It was surprising to discover that these amenities require an additional fee per entry, which was not clearly stated during the booking process.
Lotte Hotel is positioned as a high-end destination, and in that context, this policy felt out of place. It gave the impression that the hotel—despite its elegance—is being unnecessarily restrictive with services that most guests would reasonably expect to be included.
I hope you might consider reviewing this policy in the future. A more inclusive approach would better reflect the refined image that Lotte is known for.

Good sized rooms, right next to metro station and lots of coffee places. Walking distance from BIFF Square. Room was on the road side and the window didn't close properly so it was hard to sleep. Also, the soundproofing isn't great so you can hear people in the corridor. Fine for a few days.

Typical Japan hotel chain. Room is more spacious than we expected. Can still open 2 big luggages. Toilet is like cruise cabin toilet. Small but serve its purpose. Breakfast provided which is a plus and quite a good spread. Can get your own coffee, comb and facial cream etc near reception. Check out timing is earlier at 10am than usual 11am. Easy walkable to Haeundae beach and station. Will consider staying here again based on its price and bf option.

I’m super impressed with the room! The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel smelt soooo good - feels like a spa! The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The hotel location is excellent as well - it is walking distance from Seomyeon station and there are many food options in the vicinity. So glad to have stayed here!

The hotel location is located at what I think is a ‘red district area’. For girls, it might be a bit dangerous to wander alone around the area after 11pm as all the stores are closed. Behind is a local market, a lot of good restaurants and foods stalls. Hotel is clean and nice but the front desk girl at night is not friendly and giving us a rude face when we wanted to pay at the convenience store.

Room is not spacious but it is enough. Excellent location just next to BIFF. Very close to the seafood market also. Check out time is 11am, which is bit early but they offered one hour late check out if you share comments on the social media. Nice view in the room. Just one thing they didn’t offer big bath towels on the other day, only small size towels were provided. And there’s no hook or hangers for used towels…

Nice looking room a bit weirdly set up however it was clean and it had the biggest bathtub i was in. Came to check in at 14:10 and got denied and asked to wait until the 15 or pay 10000won to check in early. That was 👎🏽

Planning my trip to Busan was like being a kid in a candy store - so many hotels, so little time! But with a ferry ride to Japan on the agenda, I figured, why not pick one right by the port? That's how I stumbled upon the gem that is Good Ol’ Days Hotel.
Now, this place isn't just any hotel; it's a time capsule, a portal to the past tucked away in Jungang-dong, Jung-gu, Busan. The name says it all - Good Ol’ Days. As I checked in, I was greeted with a welcome gift that included stamps and postcards. But here's the twist: I was invited to jot down my present feelings, seal them up, and they’d be sent into the future. It's like leaving a piece of yourself behind for future you to discover - how cool is that?
The lobby was like a treasure trove, with the owner's curated list of local activities and food spots that only the savvy locals knew about. And get this: there's a convenience store right across the street for those midnight munchies - talk about convenient!
Don't even get me started on the rooftop area - bean bags, movie nights, and complimentary drinks from their café upon check-in.
Now, onto the rooms. With only 9 cozy nooks to choose from, each room has its own unique charm. We snagged room 1, and boy, was it a treat. From basic toiletries to a Dyson hair dryer (yes, you read that right!), they've got you covered. The pantry was stocked with goodies like drip coffee, cup noodles, and even beer - perfect for those late-night cravings.
But the real showstopper? The technology. A record player and Bluetooth speaker set the mood, while the absence of a TV encouraged us to disconnect and unwind. And if you're feeling creative, they've got a bunch of stationery and scrapbooking tools to leave your mark and even write a postcard to your future self.
All rooms come with breakfast - a cute picnic basket with cereal, eggs and scones.
Overall, Good Ol’ Days Hotel was more than just a place to rest my head; it was an experience that left me feeling refreshed and ready for the rest of my journey.

Loved that they changed our slippers daily without prompting. However, on one of the days we requested for change of bed linens only to find out that it wasn’t changed.
front desk was kind of rude to my mother when she tried to borrow an umbrella. Otherwise no much interaction with their staff.
All in all a satisfactory stay, especially considering the hotel is still relatively new.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really located very well. The main street has everything and more. Close to subway, buses, subway exit (which is the closest to the hotel) with elevator.
The minus of the hotel is the absence of breakfasts, the hotel does not have any arrangements even with nearby restaurants. Reception will not advise anything, in fact there is just for check in and check out.
Rooms are large with good bed, a small view of the beach. Windows are opening. Air conditioning works.
the corridors carpeted (you won't hear suitcases), soundproofing is good (I have a sensitive sleep).
Cleaned well.
Shampoo, shower gel and soap is there, but the quality is so so.
Just 3 stars hotel.

Stayed two nights in Fairfield by Marriott Busan to be close to Marina City for an event in mid October 2024.
📍Location: Fairfield by Marriott Busan is located in a less eventful part of Busan. Not the best pick if you want to be where the action is. I have stayed near the Busan train station and in Nampo previously and enjoyed those parts of Busan more.
🚕 Accessibility: it takes about 15 minutes' walk to the hotel (with luggage on uneven roads) from the drop off point at What The Burger which is where the Haeundae Intercity Bus alighted customers from Incheon Airport. The bus journey takes close to 5.5 hours with two rest stops and a stop at Nopo Terminal.
Kakao Taxi fare from Fairfield by Marriott Hotel to Haeundae Intercity Bus Terminal costs about KRW5000-6000.
🛌🏽 Room: No complaints for the price point and what you see is what you get as befitting a Marriott property. There is construction opposite the hotel so paying for the city view on a high floor will avoid that if you are bothered by a construction view. The sea is not nearby so look for another option if that is important.
👣 Amenities: I did read another review about the paper thin room slippers and wisely packed a pair from home.
🍲 Food Options: I arrived at night and didn't find too many food options in the evening as everything seems to be closed early. There are convenience shops nearby and a Paris Baguette a few blocks away.
Hotel breakfast is available at Bistro 314 on Level 2 of the hotel at a discounted rate of 16,500KRW for hotel guests if you book in advance.
🏋️ There is a fitness centre on Basement 1 next to the self service coin laundry.

Stay here if you have business nearby and want to save time travelling but not as a tourist with limited time wanting to explore the best of what Busan has to offer.

The room space is super large. Once you open the door, you can see the floor-to-ceiling glass sea view. Gived a friend a big surprise. Warm color rectangular living room with open kitchen. 2 large beds room. In-room sea view Sky pool! !
In the evening, have supper and drink in the hall. In the morning, you can enjoy coffee facing the sea.

Songting Beach is even more of a surfing hotspot in summer. It must be lively and extraordinary for another kind of enjoyment.

Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character.
Check-in & First Impressions:
Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel.
Room:
I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area.
The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value.

While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it.
Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything.
Location:
This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night.

Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. GGuest UserThe location is good as it is very close walking distance to shopping streets and the price is affordable. Room is equipped with a smart TV. I did not need to use my travel adaptor as well. Basic toiletries available. However, the bath towel is in face towel size. Clothes hanging area is on top/in front of the dresser. Things to note if staying here. Hotel is located upslope from the streets. (relatively steep) Most of the times (like a 9 out of 10), I was unable to book a taxi from my hotel due to the kakao taxi app prompting that cars cannot enter my area (they will outline the roads on the app to show the roads that cars cannot enter).I had to walk some distance out to another place to book a taxi. However, there was no restrictions to drop off at this address but many times, the driver will also drop me somewhere further away to walk in. Both the guy & lady (seems like lady boss) receptionists seems enthusiastic for a normal conversation but can become rude when we enquire or request for help. I had difficulty switching on the aircon when I first checked in and called for help. They refused to come and help and the instructions was vague as all I can understand was ”the switch is below the TV”. I later found out that it is common for aircon switch to be on the TV remote controller in Korea after I checked in to another hotel. It was after the third call when we flared up that someone came to help. But the help was of course also a rude one. Another thing to note is that they only give one access card and this access card is also the only card that manages the power in the room. If you insert another card in the slot for power, they will switch off your electricity after a while. This means you will not be able to probably sleep/shower in the room if your partner goes out since you will have to be the one to open the door, unless you can stay in the room without any power. You will also not be able to charge your phones/power banks etc while you are out and the refrigeration will also be off. The receptionist have called us via room phone and scolded us for putting a foreign card in. I think this is upsetting as we usually have more than one card in other hotels. The other hotel that I booked in Seoul even had a ready card slotted in for power and we still had 2 cards for access. Another downside: There was some form of leak from toilet bowl area and I cannot make out where its from. There will be a typical pee stench after awhile. Both the automatic bidets and manual bidets did not work in my toilet. I am not sure if this only happens in my room thus this is just for reference. Otherwise my toilet was huge and the water jet was strong. Do note that they allow early check in but it is chargeable. When I reached 2 hours earlier, I was told that their hotel does not have early check in. After asking further, they told me to pay 20,000 won if I want to check in early and I got my room immediately. I would have preferred if they told me from the start that early check in is possible for a fee.
