Popular Chongqing 4-star Hotels

This hotel is situated in a Good location and staff are attentive and helpful.  Except the safe box is not working and they can’t do much about it as it is under d landlord’s responsibility.  Highly recommended. By d way, it is under the same building with d same entrance as Mecure hotel.

Cool hotel in a great location, decor is a little tired and the restaurant looked closed not sure if it is due to being a quiet time. Staff couldn’t speak English but it wasn’t an issue, pool was lovely and cool with a great view. Bedroom was clean and comfortable.

The overall experience was good and I extreme impressed by the staff called Xiao Ru. She has been welcoming us with warmth and care from the first day we arrived Travelling with kids was always challenging but Xiao Ru has provided excellent service and patience for our queries. She has been kind enough to follow up if we need any further assistance on a daily basis. We had an early travel plan and she ensured her colleagues in another shift sending fruit to us every day after her shift. Additionally, she assisted the laundry pick up from our room and ready before our return to the room. Since we were on a night flight, a complimentary late check out was really helpful to ease out hassle. The breakfast was pretty good with a variety of options and the location was superb too. We'll definitely consider Mercure for our next visit!

We wanted to love it. Has potential as the location is central to all the attractions, food and shopping. You can see it all on foot. But the elevator situation makes it frustrating because it’s a shared building with hotels on each floor. You check-in on the 20th floor, our room was on the 19th. Good size, had amenities (toothbrushes, soap etc) but cleanliness could have been better. We only stayed one night because we had to wait 10-15 minutes every time for the elevator and the second issue was the internet. It was non-existent in our room. Your room number is your log-in and you get a password. Our room number wasn’t even a choice in the network. We were told to use the room next door when we asked about it. That didn’t work either. I wfh so I can stay anywhere as long as there is strong WiFi.  So we ended up using my husband’s hotspot. The elevator and internet were the reasons we checked out and went to a neighboring property since we loved the location.

As expected.!!! This is the only Service Apartment my family & I would always preferred/recommend where all you needs is taken care of and more importantly wallet-friendly.!! (It’s My second stay) We’re received with warm welcome, fast check-in, amazing view & its price is VERY WALLET FRIENDLY!!(Refer to photo) Everything was a big thumbs up and especially to the staff (including room-keeping) We went out and my boy(7yo) hanged the “don’t disturb tag”. Cleaner informed to reception and they immediately contacted me through (WeChat) to double confirm if house-keeping is required? Staff at Reception is the biggest thumbs up.! We Would definitely return to stay during the next trip.!!!

I booked this hotel for my husband’s birthday, expecting a wonderful experience given the nearly 1,000 RMB per night price tag. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet those expectations. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by an unpleasant odor emanating from the toilet, likely due to drainage issues. Since I wasn't feeling well and was quite tired, I thought I could mask the smell with some perfume, as we were only staying for two nights. While attempting to adjust the water temperature before my bath, I discovered something sticky under my foot when I was stepping on the towel. To my surprise, the tiles were loosen and adhered to my sole. I promptly reported this issue to the hotel via WeChat, and while I appreciated their prompt response offering to change our room, we opted to stay put since it was late and we only had one more night. However, the situation worsened the following morning when we found a cockroach in our room! This was an experience I certainly did not expect, especially in a hotel at this price point. Overall, I was deeply disappointed with our stay. The only redeeming quality of the hotel was its prime location. Unfortunately, the issues we encountered overshadowed any positives, and I feel the experience was not worth the price at all.

Spacious room generally clean with all amenities provided. Location of the hotel was superb as it’s at the center of where all the famous must see places are (generally all walkable with 20mins) However the room was advertised as river view which was you could see it but there are definitely buildings blocking the view. Secondly housekeeping wasn’t the cleanest, I found they sometimes just refold used towels instead of replacing them.

The hotel is next to Jiefangbei, and not far from the subway station and Hongyadong, which is very convenient. The breakfast is very rich. Since the parking lot is difficult to find, the front desk receptionist with work number 15 took the initiative to call and send the location, which was very accurate. He also turned on the air conditioner in the room in advance, which was very warm.

The hotel is not perfect but it's good enough for the price you pay for this hotel. Pros : - size of the room is big and comfortable, even with a big luggage open up on the floor. - comfortable and big king size bed. - clean - basic amenities provided : toothbrush, comb, shaver, soap & shampoo. - location is great. Lotsa eateries and shopping around. It's near train station. - calling front desk from phone does not work. But the reception did ask to add wechat when check in. They were very responsive if you requested things from them there. - free tea & water bottle in lobby. - washing machine with a dryer at the lobby floor is useful, though the laundry area could be cleaner. - I think they upgraded my room with a bathtub, which I appreciate, even though they did not mention it to me during check in. Cons : - room is not soundproof. You can clearly hear the sound from next room & outside (vehicle honk and stret vendor sound). It can be until very late at night (12am) and starts as early as 7am. I've read review about this so I prepared ear plug as I'm sensitive to sound. The Sound is acceptable with earplug on. So I suggest hotel to provide earplug in room for guest in future. - room have no smell but you can smell cigarettes smell near the entrance door or in toilet as people smoke in lobby or room. - long wait for lift during peak hours but it's still acceptable as it won't be more than 5 mins.

This stay was beyond my expectation! The hotel is located in the core business district of Jiangbei, close to the subway station, and the transportation is very convenient. The hotel also has professional conference room equipment, suitable for small business meetings. The movable desks and high-speed Wi-Fi in the hotel rooms make office work efficient and worry-free. The hygiene standards are strict, the bedding is changed daily, and the bathroom is reasonably designed to separate wet and dry areas. The hotel also has a spacious and safe free parking lot, which is very friendly to friends who drive themselves. The hotel has a rich variety of breakfasts, especially healthy salads and freshly ground coffee. The front desk staff Zoey is professional in service and helped to delay the check-out time for free. Recommended!
