Founded in 1963, around the time of the Tokyo Olympics, the property first opened as “Hotel Nakamura,” the first hotel in Nakamura City (now Shimanto City). Our inn is a small secluded retreat located on Castle Hill, the site of the former Nakamura Castle. As you travel up the mountain road and pass through a tunnel of trees, you will discover a tranquil world apart from everyday life. Overlooking the Shimanto River and town below, the inn offers an exceptionally peaceful atmosphere away from the bustle of the city.
