GGuest UserVery Big Room with Fuji Mountain View. The staffs are very nice. Once I forgot the room card and phone to went to Onsen, a staff helped me check my identity and opened the door for me. On the check-in, our toilet door has some problems and I reported to the staff. A manager came very soon, check the door and tell us there was not engineer at that moment and she proposed room swapping for us. As it's a minor problem, we declined the offer.
In general, this is the most luxury hotel in Japan I've been. Really enjoy the hotel and Onsen.

GGuest UserHighly recommend edit x seven to everyone here, starting off, location to gotemba outlet ＜2km away , it was ideal and you could either take a taxi or walk which was perfectly fine ! around the area ＜10 mins walk there was other food eateries too !!
the view of the room was great and was super blessed to see mt fuji every morning when i woke up
hotel staff were all friendly and great and amenities to the hotel were all clean/ new !! did not try the hotel breakfast though
love it here! will come back again , checkin and out process was super smooth too!

GGuest UserI had a great stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and I got breakfast and a complimentary drink per day included. My room had a view on Mount Fuji which I climbed up during my stay! It’s only a 5 minute walk away from Gotemba station where the busses to Fuji depart. I will stay here again if I come back.

AandylaiWe had a pleasant stay at Superhotel Gotenba 1. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji from nearby. Breakfast was simple but satisfying. It’s a good value for a short stay.
I would recommend for travelers looking for a quiet, budget-friendly place in Gotemba.

YYuuhi TenshiThis hotel has a shuttle bus service that requires reservations. They said that they would not accept guests who are late. But it turned out that the staff came to pick me up in a private car. I was scared to death.
I originally booked this hotel because I could enjoy the view of Mount Fuji while soaking in the hot spring in the room..
But I finally found out that I had to go to the front desk to sign up on a first-come, first-served basis before I could go to the designated room. Fortunately, the sky was cloudy on the two days I checked in, otherwise I would have been extremely disappointed. But I think this is a translation error, and I hope the relevant parties will correct it as soon as possible.
The hotel staff are very friendly and kind. The breakfast is so rich that I can't finish it (plus I added sushi, wagyu burgers and crab sticks). They can also help me make reservations for horse riding experiences nearby. Thank you so much^^

AAnonymous UserThe location is very convenient, just across the road from JR Gotemba Station. The shuttle bus station to Gotemba is just across the JR station. There is also a large drugstore and sports brand factory store nearby (selling Adidas, Nike, Mizuno, etc., but I didn't go there because I was in a hurry), and even Tora-ya. The room is indeed very old, and the sanitary conditions are average, similar to the level of hotels in small county towns in China. The breakfast is rich, the service is pretty good, and the sister at the front desk seems to be Sister Eri in the Japanese drama ”Hotspot” I watched recently. I don't think there is anything wrong with this location and price.

The double bed is small
The large bathing area is divided into men's and women's time slots. For girls, it is before 9:30 pm, and for boys, it is after 10 pm. The bathhouse is very small and can only accommodate about 5 to 6 people.

JJX SohBusiness style room that is ok sized for the price u pay. Staff was helpful to move our items up to our room prior to check in. They offer an eco friendly room cleaning option, and if selected, you will receive tokens for a free can of beer.
The hotel is surrounded by many restaurants and easily accessible by car.
There is free onsen but I didn't manage to try

SSongziyidameiCtrip's service made check-in incredibly smooth; I just needed to present my passport. The hotel is a 10-minute walk from Gotemba Station's west exit. The room was a bit dated, but perfectly adequate. A major plus was the men's communal bath on the first floor; daily soaks and showers there were incredibly refreshing and helped me unwind after a long day. The laundry room was conveniently located directly across from the bath. Breakfast was nothing special, but it was sufficient.
