"The hotel is very convenient, close to the JR station, and there's a convenience store across the street with very helpful staff. Plus, the hotel offers unlimited free drinks, saving us a lot on beverage costs. We drove there, and there are two very cheap parking lots nearby, costing only HKD 25 for 24 hours – highly recommended!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Dormy Inn Asahikawa and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Asahikawa Station and easy to reach many attractions such as Asahiyama Zoo and the Asahikawa Ramen Village.
The room was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Although the size was compact, it was very comfortable and functional
The highlight of our stay was the onsen (public bath) on the top floor — perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The free nighttime ramen (Yonaki Soba) was also a great treat before bedtime!
AAmAmHUANI understand that the hotel’s breakfast hours are from 6:30 am to 9:00 am, and we arrived at 9:02 am, slightly late as we were packing our luggage and preparing to check out. By then, the kitchen staff were already putting away the food and preparing to close the breakfast area. I quickly took a bowl of soup from what was still available. However, one of the kitchen staff members looked at me and rolled her eyes, which felt rude and unnecessary.
The front desk staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Overall, the stay was great!
CChuSuper friendly and welcoming staff, we were being treated like their family. Historical hotel but you can definitely see the owner's effort in keeping it modernised.
Yummy soba noodle too! Definitely recommend.
GGuest UserDue to high demand, our second night was in a smoking room, and it definitely had a strong odor. However, there was a spray bottle on the wall, and after using it, the air quality improved significantly. The hygiene was very good, and the room had amenities like a kettle and a fridge. Plus, it's very close to Asahikawa Station, which was great.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights towards the end of our Hokkaido trip. We called ahead to arrange parking for our rental car, and the staff member we spoke with was incredibly helpful and pleasant over the phone, ensuring a smooth parking experience. While the hotel itself is a bit dated, we found it to be exceptionally clean and well-maintained.
Happy hour offered complimentary drinks and curry rice. We immediately toasted with beer, followed by a satisfying curry rice to round it off! The breakfast buffet also had a wide variety of options, and we were very satisfied!
We would definitely want to stay here again if we ever return to Asahikawa! Highly recommended!
GGuest UserSince it was my first solo trip in a while and I wasn't in a place I'd been to often, I searched for a hotel near the station where I wouldn't get lost and stayed here!
It was a little far from the city center, so I had to walk a bit, but it was quiet and peaceful at night.
The hotel's amenities only listed ”towels,” so I asked through chat if they had bath towels and was told they didn't.
However, when I got there, I found bath towels...which added to my luggage.
It's best to call the hotel directly to confirm the details of your reservation.
The large basement bath, which is open until 2:00, is empty around 1:00, so I was able to relax, but the overall dim lighting was a bit creepy. Maybe the lighting could be a little better...
Also, turning off all the lights in the room made it pitch black, so I slept with the light by the door on...but for people who can't sleep in complete darkness but can't sleep in too much light, this might be a bit difficult. 💦
The vending machine had a fairly wide selection of drinks, so I didn't have to go to the convenience store.
There was ice on the first floor (they served up huge ice cubes with great force, lol), and the breakfast buffet, which wasn't included in my reservation, made for a comfortable solo trip! ❣️
Everyone at the front desk greeted me with a smile, making this a very pleasant two-day, one-night trip! Thank you very much! ☺️
AAnonymous UserART Hotel Asahikawa has a great location, surrounded by restaurants and convenience stores, making it very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, meeting our expectations, and overall it was a comfortable stay. The front desk staff were friendly, and the check-in and check-out processes were smooth and stress-free. Given the price and location, it offers excellent value for money. The breakfast view was amazing, and the food was decent. They were also very helpful when we encountered a problem; we lost our keys, and a few days later, the hotel proactively contacted the car dealership and helped us find them, which we greatly appreciate.
GGuest UserHotel Crescent is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. Very professional and nice staff, even the cleaning people make an effort to manage their noise if they know someone is still sleeping in a room, which is above and beyond. The staff at Crescent kept my luggage for a long time when my return trip got delayed which was a huge relief. The lobby gives such a unique atmosphere, it's at once august and stately, like one of the grand art deco hotels of the past era, but it also has a fun little gift shop area and a cafe, so it feels relaxed. Crescent is just a really friendly place where you don't have to worry about anything. Their website explains their ”Kaizen” philosophy, which now is a famous Japanese management philosophy of continuous improvement in each area. It really shows at this hotel. This is the kind of hotel you end up becoming a better person because the staff is so professional and kind. Thank you for a great stay and for being one of my favorite places in Japan :)
GGuest UserHotels mainly used by locals in Japan rather than foreigners. Facilities and location are not very good, but it is really the best hotel for travelers with children. Everything for children is really well prepared. I was worried about the noise, but there was no noise at all.
KKeong Lengonsen hotel a bit far out on the hill but if you are driving than no an issue, free parking tho and the staffs are very friendly. public onsen is big and fun for families, wearing yukata and playing at the game room is just nostalgia, bring back good old memories :) wooden locker key is kinda cool 😎 room size is just nice
