It's my second time staying at the Clayton hotel. Comfortable clean room. Lovely food and drinks. Definitely enjoyed happy hour 😊

We travelled with 2 kids and booked a family suite. The room was spacious with a living room. Things seemed to be good. However, the staff were very impolite. As from the booking, there would have toiletries provided. However, we found there was no toothbrush/ toothpaste. Also, there were no slippers. We made request to the staff before dinner and she replied in cold tone and rude manner that we needed to pay for the toothbrushes. For the slippers, we were told it would be delivered to our room. However, nothing was received after our dinner. We went to follow up the matter and the staff rudely passed 2 slippers to us while we were in a group of 4!!! She then gave us another two after we said it once again we are a family of 4!!!! We were told the drinks at minibar were free for consumption. However, the drinks were opened and put back in the fridge. Apparently staff did not do clean up thoroughly. And the kettle was rusty and we dare not to use it. Further, there are road construction around the hotel and there is no place to stop the car for drop off. In brief, the room is spacious and nice but the service and the room cleaning/ make up are terrible. In view of the service, we would not be back again!!!

excellent experience, great location, nice decor and food..

The beds were ultra comfortable and I had the best night of sleep I’ve had in weeks. Room was small but unless you’re planning on spending a lot of time in the room, it was perfect. Bathroom was great, very clean and had a rain shower head which I loved. They didn’t really provide any toiletries other than hand wash and body wash, I had to buy my own shampoo and conditioner. There’s also no fridge/microwave, but there was tea and coffee with a kettle provided. I would definitely recommend and I would stay again.

location is great though main entrance/ gate is slightly on right side where car cannot reach. No person available for your language to transfer from car to room & vice versa . No toiletries are available in wash room . One day cleaner forget to vacuum the room but staff is so cooperative and nice . Next time i will defiantly visit again.

Good location

Lovely hotel, close to all the shops and amenities in Birmingham

Despite being a clean and comfortable hotel, we are still annoyed over their customer service when we wanted to change our booking as our pet died on our check in date. They would not change our booking. We did not want a refund just to move the booking to a date the following week. They refused.

Location of the hotel is great, walking distance to downtown and the downtown area. The service from the staff was very friendly and helpful. For my next visit I would definitely return and stay at this hotel.

The Place is Clean & Good Service,

The air conditioning is not good and the soundproofing is very poor. There are also parties in the hotel. The room is full of music and I can't sleep at all.
