Super heartwarming, friendly and professional service! Love our stay at Hotel Indigo Bintan! Each and every staff truly went the extra mile to ensure that we were very well taken care of. I appreciated the high levels of care, starting from the exclusive waiting lounge at the Bintan ferry terminal, the complimentary BYD car transfers to and fro the hotel from the ferry terminal, the sheltered buggy rides all around the resort to ensure that we will stay dry in the monsoon rainy weather, the delicious and lovingly prepared semi-buffet breakfasts with ala carte options for main courses prepared upon order, the beautifully decorated and spacious rooms, the complimentary activities everyday to keep guests entertained etc. Most of all, all service staff are always greeting us with bright smiles throughout our stay! Hope to come back to visit again soon!

Was a wonderful trip that certainly exceeded my expectations. Staff were ALL consistently friendly and helpful, going beyond their way to help us with any issues at all, much appreciated! No regrets booking the trip and would love to return. Food and drinks were truly great too! Esp the Hot Taro Latte!

The property has lots of potential and service staff have wonderful attitude. it just opened in Oct, so not everything is fully up just yet. It was generally a nice stay but several small disappointments added up and we conclude we would stay elsewhere if we returned to Bintan (although probably not soon). - we were fortunate to get the room early at check-in (~1230pm) cos the room was ready. - F&B team had the most hiccups. we had late lunch on the first day - the restaurant was not busy but they could not cope with orders. we waited over 40mins and other tables that came later were served before us. food was not even piping hot when it arrived, which is weird—was it sitting around and just not served?? - subsequent days’ breakfast at the same and only restaurant also always had something up. e.g. long waits, forgotten orders, and when we asked about items, two of them would turn up. that said, all the staff were super nice, and we’re grateful — albeit still disappointed. - the room was very pretty but there’s an impractical design flaw on the hanging lamp on the bedside. it rattles every now and then due to the AC. i ignored it fine but it drove my husband mad 😅 he had to cushion it with a hand towel. - the in-room phone was also strange. we had to try many times to dial ‘0’ for guest services — there’s no other number to call. it sometimes sounded like it was ringing/connecting but nothing was happening. - housekeeping didn’t clean our room the whole time we were out on day 2. only came when we were back resting at 5+pm. - indigo doesn’t allow sharing of facilities with sister hotel, which frankly is a missed opportunity these days. i’ve lost count of the number of resorts who do it and market it as a plus point. it almost seems weird that they don’t when it’s virtually connected to IHG. - hadn’t realise this but they don’t brand themselves as a family hotel so there’s no kids club. don’t pick this place if u need a place to entertain your kids. i was surprised that a beach resort didn’t have a kids club 😆 - the hotel wanted to impose a surcharge on my 5yo who was sharing the same room same bed and not (in my opinion) consuming significantly more resources than another guest who may have been just a couple without a kid. we’ve been to many other properties that brag a “kids stay free” concept unless u ask for an extra pullaway bed. anyways, while the charge is relatively common, when asked about what the charge goes toward, the explanation i was offered was weak. and after the stay, all the more i didn’t feel there was much to justify this so called additional charge.

Elegant entrance, inspiring designs, friendly complimentary meet and greet service from the ferry terminal. Staff are attentive and thoughtful. Very helpful on assisting with transfers and bookings too. Suite I've checked in is so cool with pool and sea view. Such a peaceful staycation I've had! Massage I've got is awesome too! I can feel that she is thoroughly and carefully handle all my stressful spot! My partner said how come you sleep so deep last night? Because of the amazing massage! Love it!!! Thanks for celebrating birthday for my partner too!

Newly opened hotel with local food in a modern twist. Probably better with couples or retirees looking just to chill and relax with fantastic beach front. Limited activities for families with young children.

I recently stayed at Hotel Indigo Bintan, and it exceeded my expectations. The design is modern and vibrant, reflecting the local culture beautifully. Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities. The staff were welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Indigo Hotel, and it more than met our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the friendly staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was spotless and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. A special touch was the thoughtful wedding anniversary decorations and the delicious chocolate cake left in our room – a delightful surprise that made our celebration even more memorable. If you’re looking for a place that offers excellent service, comfort, and special touches, Indigo Hotel is definitely the place to stay!

The staff at the hotel are very accommodating and the building is all new and well-kept. My 6 year old loved it here. The pools are great for kids. Only thing I would want to improve is a little more beach clean up of the plastic that washes up. Not the hotel's fault but they had people removing seaweed, I was hopeful they could remove a little trash too. It is not excessive tho.

Too new to stay, don't like the breakfast.

Because it is a new hotel, the rooms and other facilities are very clean. The service at the front desk and restaurant is very good. The only drawback is that on the second day of staying in the hotel, I called for food delivery, but no one answered for more than 10 minutes. No one responded to the order through WhatsApp. I had no choice but to go downstairs to the restaurant for dinner. Later, the manager came to apologize and gave me coffee and ice cream. The restaurant has few breakfast options, and there are not many options on the lunch and dinner menus. The local dishes are not delicious. I ordered Indonesian fried rice, which was too salty. The beef Randong was very dry, and one piece of beef was so old and tough that it was completely impossible to bite it and difficult to cut with a knife. The Laksa had no taste. There is no resort hotel atmosphere in the hotel.
