Hotels near Wudaokou, Beijing

Reached the hotel at 8+am after a red-eye flight. Although it was too early to check-in, front desk staff kindly checked for available room, and arranged housekeeping to expedite cleaning. We were able to check-in after one hour. Very pleased with the size of the family room with 2 queen size beds, very spacious, clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping staff did good job of daily cleaning and put many bottles of drinking water for us. Hotel is directly connected to the shopping mall making it super convenient for shopping & dining and 8 mins walk from metro station, which has 2 metro lines (1 & 4), easy to travel around. Concierge/customer service is also very professional and helpful. Ordered some packages from Taobao but they went missing (2 times). The staff offered to find them and they did. Each time they also followed up with phone calls afterwards to make sure we had received them. Breakfast spread was very sumptuous and good variety, and the chef even introduced the food items personally. Overall very happy with our stay, and would highly recommend this hotel for their comfort level, customer service and value-for-money price point, to any visitors to Beijing.

Location is excellent, close to forbidden city and nearby has good selection of food. Best is 四季民福 is just beside the hotel and can easily grab a queue number. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Whilst the facilities are not very new, the hotel is kept clean and maintained. The stay was very comfortable and would certainly come back again.

The room is not large but perfectly well equipped with all you need. Spot on cleaning, very travellers friendly room,love the universal plug and bed side switch! Free minibar in your room and mid night snacks at the lobby. Breakfast is mostly Chinese style- carb heavy and lacking variety. Absolutely love the self serviced free laundry and drying in the lobby too! The staff is so nice and gone beyond to assist you! They’re pretty responsive and can be reached with WeChat! The only cons is the room smells like cigarettes which I find it pretty common across mainland China.

The location of the hotel was great - it was near the Wangfujing shopping district, and walking distance to numerous public transport options. However, the housekeeping team was not thorough - there were often clumps of hair lying in the room (we even found someone’s used contact lens) and it was as if they just gathered the dust / dirt together and left it there. The plumbing in the hotel is weak, and the smell of sewage lingers in the toilet. The hotel was otherwise cozy and the reception staff were also helpful.

This was my second stay in a month at Baifuyi. The first time was two weeks ago, I took a domestic flight from this hotel to Daxing airport. This time I returned to Beijing from Daxing airport and took an international flight at the capital airport. In short, it is close to both airports in Beijing. It's also close to the city center. I got off the plane just over 2pm and took the subway to the hotel just over 4pm. In the evening, when the traffic is busiest, take a ride to Houhai to have dinner and a night out. The taxi fare is only over 30 yuan a trip, indicating that the road is not far. Back to the hotel at night is by subway. 🚇 On the way we went to the Ginza Mall to buy some fruit 🍎 and drink. it was less than ten o'clock we were back to the hotel. It's as if in this hotel, after getting off the plane, you can enjoy the beauty of Beijing immediately. And this time because we have one more person, five of us. We got an apartment suite. The two-bedroom, three-bathroom suite is newly renovated, well equipped and very clean. There is a large two-door fridge, a fully automatic washing machine, and a microwave and gas oven. There is more than 100 square meters of space for five of us, more than enough. It was originally planned for five people to book two hotel rooms. Now it is more affordable and convenient to book a suite. 👍 The rooms all have balconies and large glass flooring, so you don't have to go outside and see the beautiful scenery of Beijing. The excellence of the customer service was also one of the reasons we chose to come back. Jack Fan at the front desk, very aware of the fatigue of the travelers, he quickly completed the check in, so that we can easily get on board. Whether I'm in China or abroad, I prefer to book a hotel rather than a bed and breakfast when I travel. Although the hotel is more expensive, there are strict government regulations on fire prevention, burglary and hygiene. Stay at peace of mind in a hotel. I don't think B & B will tell you about the floor plans and escape routes. But it is a must for all star-rated hotels. The advantages of a bed and breakfast are spacious and convenient. At Baifuyi in Beijing, we enjoyed the delicate luxury of the star-rated hotels and the spacious and relaxing nature of the B & B.

I recently stayed at Jianguo Hidden Hotel Beijing Tian’anmen again, and it was another pleasant experience. The hotel’s location near Tian’anmen Square is incredibly convenient for sightseeing, with easy access to key attractions and public transport. The serene ambiance and stylish design make it a peaceful retreat in the city. My room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing and will definitely return.

When I got to the hotel, the hotel offered me the chance to get a room upgrade, which I immediately accepted (80 yuan/night). The new room I got was clean, and the staff was also very nice. However, sound insulation was very poor, I could hear every single word of the people around me. I couldn't switch off the heater, which was also a problem, especially at nighttime. The closest subway station is around 1 km from the hotel, so I suggest taking a didi to wherever you want to go. I am overall satisfied with this hotel.

Although the hotel is abit old, the room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean. The luxurious bedding to the thoughtful amenities, made it feel like a true retreat. The view from my room was also stunning, offering a glimpse of Beijing’s skyline that added to the ambiance. Ambience at the hotel lobby was awesome. With a grand piano, high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows facing the garden. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Every interaction was met with genuine warmth and a willingness to go above and beyond to ensure my comfort. From the concierge’s expert recommendations to the housekeeping staff’s meticulous attention, I felt well cared for throughout my stay. The Regent Beijing exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city. I look forward to returning in the future!

The hotel is really near to Wangfujing metro (approximately 3 mins walk from E3 exit) which is super convenient for us especially when we have many luggages. Secondly, the hotel rooms are really spacious and is enough for us to put 4 big luggages. Lastly, to us, it's worth the price paid given that there are so many good points about the hotel. There are 2 washer and 2 dryers, free mineral water (you can get more if it's not enough!) and some of the receptionists were really friendly and helpful too (sadly not all :( ). Also thankful that the hotel allow us to check out an hour later! Will definitely stay again in the future if i visit Beijing and will recommend this hotel to friends and family too! 酒店距离王府井地铁站非常的近而且很方便。房间非常的大，可以容纳4个大的行李。而且酒店还有两架洗衣机和烘干机，以及免费提供饮用水。有些前台人员非常的有礼貌和热情，在我们遇到困难时会及时帮忙。也感谢酒店让我们迟一个小时退房！下次再来北京一定会再光临这间酒店，也会介绍亲朋好友来住！
