Crowne Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town Reviews

This trip I got an upgrade to their executive room and the room is excellent. Very spacious and comfortable. Also their customer representative is so nice and I am very satisfied with their arrangements. Price performance is super and their location is also very good and convenient so I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in a great location with a mall entrance right beside, that has everything you need. The concierge staff are very helpful and the pool and gym facilities were great. The room is tidy, a little older and the aircon did not work; it was extremely hot at night. The booking process required essentially a double payment. Trip asked for a pre-authorisation amount of the total stay and instead of that being used for payment, they charged again plus a 1000rmb deposit so even though my stay was only 3 nights for a total of approx 3300 rmb I ended up being charged 7600rmb. Although the preauthorisation was refunded it still (3days later) is not showing in my account. Then when I went to check out, they tried to charge me a third time for 3300rmb. I normally stay with Crowne Plaza but this particular branch was not to the standard I am used to. Location again was awesome.

Trip was satisfactory, good cafe, friendly stuff although not everyone knows english which was troublesome in some situations, but overall rooms clean, everything perfect, would recommend to stay in there.

I think the hotel in general needs a renovation. it’s quite old and some corners of the room are already wearing off. hotel service is great, location is good too but overall the room is pretty small and not worth the money if you are leisure travelling.

Everything was great and especially the polite, froendly and professional service from Aron Ding 丁向杰， he helped me a number of times and made me smile.

Very nice room with large bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic and very extensive for European guests.

This hotel is in a convenient location with with many options for food and shopping close by. The metro station is a fairly easy 10 minute walk away. As a tourist I found the reception staff to be helpful and willing to go out of their way to assist me. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was large, thank you for a great stay.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! Bobby Sheng and his staff were incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with anything we needed. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to ensure my experience was smooth and enjoyable. Whether it was a quick question or a special request, they were friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. It made all the difference and made us feel truly welcomed. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service and a comfortable stay!

Great experience overall. Surpassed my expectations. Friendly and hospitable staff. Recognition of my IHG status despite booking through Trip.com. Breakfast has a good selection of both western and Chinese dishes.

Unlikely to come back to this hotel. The bed and pillow seem to be old ones

Disappointing Stay at Crowne Plaza Beijing I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza in Beijing and was thoroughly disappointed. The hotel is very old and in dire need of renovation. The staff were unprofessional and struggled with basic English, making communication extremely difficult. Overall, my stay was far from the standard I expected from a Crowne Plaza hotel.

I had a great experience in this hotel. the amenities are superb.. starting from a very classy lobby where i spent time having coffee with a friend. The room is clean; had a very relaxing time — a bubble tub bath made may day (bring your bubble shampoo) The manager is so accommodating, (Matthew the manager) arranged my early check in. Leo the trainee assigned at the lobby ( entrance ) is so helpful all the time ( he helped me in booking my taxi to the airport)Location is convenient ( just beside U Town Mall) though I don’t really roamed around , I spent time in the hotel — my me time is worth it in Crowne Plaza Hotel. i will surely be booking this hotel for my next visits.
