Top value. Only downside is the location. Staff is very friendly, breakfast is great, multiple activities to do and overall a great hotel.

My favorite part of this hotel is the basement floor. I think with the gym, pool, and restaurant this hotel is one of the best in the area.

I came here for a staycation. It felt like I had left Chengdu and went to a tropical island. It is a great place to decompress especially after a long week at work.

Convenient location if you are staying in Tianfu New Area. Very big and clean hotel with great customer service. Breakfast was nice as well.

Stayed 2 nights July 2023. Great facilities with well equipped gym and indoor and outdoor pools. 5star standard hotel. Breakfast was top notch. There were 2 channels showing English movies, giving a nice way to relax. This place is a ways out, so bear that in mind if you stay here. Taxis and Didi is the way to go; however local bus T208 terminates 150m from the hotel, are frequent, run all day until very late and can drop you close, but not at, the Metro. Great value hotel. Howard Johnson Agile plaza is a great City getaway. Located 30/40 minutes from the city centre it feels as if you are on a bit of a holiday! There was a conference on at the time we went but even with that many people it really didn’t bother us. The pool was clean, the room was air conditioned and cleaned well. If any negatives were to be had is the dinner options midweek. It’s Luxe Chinese food or poolside food only. The big positive was the service. Everyone, from waiter to cleaner to lifeguard smiled. So a big plus for us about that. We didn’t go with kids but there were lots who seemed to have gone and were loving it! They were also very friendly using their English. Great resort, great stay. Would recommend for a chilled couple of days.

This stay at Howard Johnson Agile Hotel really surprised me! From the moment I walked into the lobby, I was infected by the warm, elegant and luxurious environment and the warm smiles of the staff. Yang Xue, the front desk housekeeper, checked in efficiently and professionally, and also upgraded the room type considerately, and took the initiative to inform that the check-out could be delayed until 14:00 the next day. The detailed service was touching. The room has a wide view and soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and the bathtub and shower have sufficient water pressure, which instantly dissipates the fatigue of the day. The mini bar has a rich variety of drinks, and fresh fruits and handwritten cards are given upon check-in. The breakfast is rich in variety, with both Chinese and Western food, and the food is fresh. A cup of coffee in the morning refreshes the mind. Special thanks to the housekeeping aunt for her meticulous cleaning and the concierge for his travel suggestions. Every employee made me feel at home. Whether it is a business trip or a leisure vacation, this is an excellent choice, and I will definitely come back next time!

The lobby is magnificent and the service is very thoughtful. However, the toilet is yellowed and the bathroom is clogged with water. It is not worthy of the Howard Johnson brand. The coffee machine is stuck and the coffee is cold on the first day. I hope it can be better.

The place was easy to find. We also had hot pot nearby. The room was large and cozy. It was well decorated in advance. There is also a gym, swimming pool, and children's playground. The front desk was very welcoming. I booked a room worth over 400, and they upgraded us to an executive room worth over 1000 for free. The room had a wide view, was very large, had a cloakroom, two bathrooms, and both the living room and bedroom had large terraces!

We were upgraded to an executive twin room. The front desk staff provided great service. The room had a balcony and the buffet breakfast was good.
