Beihai Hotels with Airport pickup service

We are traveling as a couple this time, and we specially chose the Shangri-La Hotel, Beihai to stay in a sea view room from September 9th to 13th. The facilities are complete, the sanitary conditions are good, and the environment is very good. Put down your luggage, take a rest, and then walk from east to west on the sea plank road, take a walk to the sea, and feel very happy. The service level of the entire hotel is first-class. Whether it is management personnel or general employees, including doormen, they all greet you with smiles and whisper greetings when they come in and out. We went to the Chinese restaurant and the buffet restaurant for dinner twice, with rich dishes, excellent cooking, and thoughtful service. Especially the buffet breakfast, it is a visual and taste enjoyment. There was a girl with long braids who was very enthusiastic to see us and called us ”grandparents”, which made us feel very cordial. When we learned that our return flight was relatively early, we also prepared fruits and sandwiches for us to take to the airport to eat while waiting for the flight. Beihai Shangri-La Hotel is the sixth hotel we have stayed in over the years. We have to admit that the management level of Shangri-La Hotel Management Group is consistent and always online.

The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

Traveling with two children, the location is very close to the passenger port. Thank you to Xiao Zhang from the reservation department for upgrading the room. The check-in was quick and the room was clean. There were fresh fruits in the room every day and many extra bottles of water were given every day. I have eaten breakfast, Chinese food, and buffet in the hotel. The breakfast is quite satisfactory. The Chinese food is plentiful and reasonably priced, but the waiters in the Chinese restaurant are not as enthusiastic as the front desk and appear to be slack. The buffet is okay. The good food stall on the left side of the north gate of the hotel is good, and it feels better than the internet celebrity restaurant Yuexiang Kitchen in Qiaogang Fengqing Street.

I went to Beihai for six days. The day before I came back, I planned to go around the old city and set the sun next to the old city. I saw the online evaluation. I was really not disappointed after I checked in. The hotel is by the sea, the overall environment is very good, and it is very convenient to go to the attractions. We did not book a sea view room. The city view room has good sunshine. The hotel facilities are very complete. The clothes are on the window. It is very convenient. This is what I have not experienced in many hotels. 👍 Downstairs is Binhai Avenue. You can take a walk while blowing the sea breeze, which is very comfortable. The front desk lady Meilan is super gentle and the service is very good. When I saw the children a little bored, I sent a small toy. The children were very happy to focus on playing immediately. They liked 👍 and just arrived at the hotel. People have a feeling of being at home. They must have five stars. Next time I have a chance to come to Beihai, I will still live here ☺

The environment and service are good, especially the environment is very comfortable and cozy, the room is also clean and spacious, but the afternoon tea is a little bit not grand enough, there is no cake to eat after 3 o'clock, I hope this will be more sufficient. The swimming pool is large, deep, shallow, and for children, meeting the needs of all ages, and the baby doesn't want to leave. I only stayed for one day this time, and the adults didn't stay long enough. I will stay here next time I come to Beihai. It's about a seven-minute walk from the Silver Beach.

The room is clean, the overall design is good, and the light is very comfortable. The front desk helped me upgrade the room. The room is larger and the soundproofing is also very good. The room has a bathtub and the slippers are still as comfortable as before~ However, the air conditioner does not cool down fast enough. After turning it on for one night and setting it to 16 degrees, the room temperature is still around 25 degrees. The overall environment is relatively quiet. There are not many places to eat downstairs, but it is only a ten-minute drive to Qiaogang, which is quite convenient. The roads in Beihai are all four-lane, which is very comfortable to drive. I will come here to stay next time.

Because my family came back to visit and needed to stay with them, I chose a B&B run by a local. Sure enough, the surprise and comfort left a deep impression on me and my family! The warmth and elegance of the room, the comfortable green plants in the B&B, the thoughtful and meticulous, professional service and care of the waiters made me enjoy a high-quality accommodation experience! Moreover, the location of the B&B is excellent. Across the road is the gate of the world's first beach, Silver Beach. You can enjoy her picturesque and unique beauty just by crossing the road! This stay exceeded my expectations. From check-in to check-out, my family and I were very satisfied and felt at home. I highly recommend it!

This is my second stay. I came here in 2023. This time I brought the elderly and children with me. The parent-child room is big enough and the top floor is high enough, so there is no sense of oppression. The hotel environment is very quiet and comfortable, with many green plants, swimming pools for adults and children, and a library where you can charge, read and rest. There are also children's slides, swings, and sand in the yard, where children can play for a long time. The seafood you buy can be processed in the hotel restaurant for 20-25 per portion. It may be swapped if it is processed in a food stall. There are many villa hotels here, and this one feels relatively large. There seem to be six villas in the yard. Many people asked about it when I came back. I have recommended it to other family and friends, and I will come again if I have the chance.

The room is 60 square meters, there is a kitchen refrigerator washing machine and a balcony, the room is very large and comfortable, you can watch the sea 180 ℃, the bathroom is also facing the sea, go downstairs and walk a few steps to the beach, there are many small eDonkeys rented by the beach, I want to go around nearby, renting an eDonkey to ride, it is really very convenient, The price is also very reasonable, rent 35 yuan a day. The greening downstairs is also very beautiful. There are many rest areas on the first floor. Every rest area is different. I really don't want to go. I want to come! If I have the opportunity to come again in the future, I will choose to live here. I really like 😻!
