Very nice hotel for what it is. It’s not a 5 star hotel so don’t expect 5 star standards. However, the service went above and beyond 5 stars. The standard room felt old. Attempts had been made to update it. But it was just a place to sleep and was more than adequate for that. Tons of loungers at the beach and pool. Breakfast was good, just watch out for thieving birds by the windows. Restaurants were also very good especially the Indian one. Prices are high but in line with other places in Mahe. Be sure to watch the sunset from the beach and check out the tortoises living there. The free shuttle service to Victoria and back was much appreciated! Overall, recommend!

Nice and clean hotel

The hotel's advantages are its location on the first line and breakfast. There was only one small towel in the room (for the face) and it was dirty. When we asked to replace the dirty towel and bring another one, we received the answer "ok" and that was it. We asked several times - no use, they never brought it or replaced it. There is a musty smell in the room, all the linen is damp, it is impossible to lie on the bed - it stinks so much. And the pillows and the blanket, everything. Just awful for a 4* hotel The hotel grounds are nice and green. For those who care, there is a swimming pool.

Excellent location. It's about 15 minutes to Victoria bus station (bus 24), and then you can go around the island in any direction. Buy a bus card at the airport in the red kiosk where they sell SIM cards for 1, 4 and 8 days. They also sell and top up cards at the bus station on the side. The hotel is large for Seychelles. It's strange that the reviews are below 7. At first, it didn't even show up in the search. Clean hotel. The staff is friendly. They put 2 bottles of water in the room (though they can forget to put them). They don't skimp on toiletries and they are of good quality: lotion, shampoo, air conditioning, gel. They don't skimp on them. However, they once put 4 gels. There is a supermarket nearby. The breakfast is good. Of the minuses, but not fundamental: it's a bit noisy from the refrigerator and air conditioning. Wi-Fi is only good for viewing news in Telegram, pictures and videos do not load. Everything is sent normally on WhatsApp. Some wrote that the laundry does not dry. At night I hung it opposite the air conditioner, everything dried in the morning, even T-shirts. At 9.45 and at 17 back free shuttle to Victoria (before boarding, take a voucher for the shuttle at the reception). The combination of price and quality is excellent. With small children it is better to look at the lagoons, there are big waves. Bus route 14 goes along the steepest pass through the island to a beautiful lagoon.

We stayed in Berjai from 01.01 to 11.012025. The hotel is located right on the seashore, without a road or any promenade. A wonderful beach, soft clean sand, a smooth entrance to the sea. There are always free sun loungers, there is always shade from the trees. The beach is 5 out of 5 (in my opinion, it is similar to Chaweng Noi on Samui in Thailand). But!!!! From December to March, there are waves on this beach, it is impossible and dangerous to swim, but those who are not afraid of waves can swim. We were not told this when buying a tour. We had to rent a car. We swam on the other side of the island, there was a calm at this time. The hotel itself is simple, but we liked it. We booked 2 adults and a 10-year-old child for 11 nights for 160 thousand rubles with breakfast. The standard room is a three-star: a bit cramped, no balcony, already needs renovation) Breakfasts are simple, but normal. Our child took fruits, buns and juice from breakfast to the room without any problems, none of the staff objected. On the hotel grounds there is a playground where giant turtles live, you can feed them.

Stayed in the hotel for twelve nights. It is a very comfortable hotel. Most of the rooms have sea views. The soundproofing is also very good at night. The breakfast in the hotel is also very good!

We vacationed in hotels in June 2024. We were very pleased with the hotel. Beautiful well-groomed area, varied breakfasts. Very close to the ocean. There are not many sunbeds, but they were always available, and they can be conveniently placed in the shade of the trees. The beach is great.

Except for the bad service attitude, everything else is okay
