Hotels with Breakfast in Barcelona

First, this was a great hotel overall. Incredibly friendly staff who are very helpful! Hotel: Great central location! Lots of restaurants, 2 blocks from Plaza Catalunya (for hop on/hop off, El Corte Ingles two stores) and Casa Battlo and shopping of Passeig de Gracia. Breakfast buffet had a huge and well supplied bar of meats, cheeses, hot foods, juices, pastries, etc. Fitness room was small but functional on lower level. Rooftop bar had amazing views and wonderful staff but drinks were a bit overpriced.It would be awkward to use the rooftop pool with all the bar goers watching you! Room: The room was big with a terrace overlooking Rambla. Narrow door to terrace and large step up was a little hard to navigate but worth the view. The street could get noisy at night (restaurants across the street with various street performers) but being on the 7th floor helped. Housekeeping showed up late (4-5pm) most days which was difficult for us because we needed afternoon naps due to jet lag but they did a great job of cleaning and stopping by in the evening to check if anything further was needed. Lots of drinking water left in room daily, too!

The Majestic Hotel is in a great location. Lots of shopping and places to eat in the area. Our room was a junior suite. It was large, comfortable, very clean and extremely welcoming upon our return after a long day out enjoying the sites of Barcelona. The breakfast was wonderful having pretty much everything you could want for breakfast and more! When we come back to Barcelona in the future, we will definitely stay at the Majestic Hotel.

A bit noisy by the train at night and the chatting in the lobby early in the morning. Would be much better if facial tissue and an extra bin in the room (not just in the bathroom) is provided:) Location is good. Cleaning during the stay is not thorough. Staff are friendly.

Fantastic location right in the heart of town! You have to pick Condes if you are serious shopping at Hermes Chanel and LouisVuitton because it’s right smack in the middle of these 3. Dior and Loewe are also just a few more steps away. Best choice without having to lug all the shopping back. Room is huge and luxurious, opt for the Balcony for a top view of the city. And the TaxFree claims refund office is just across the road!

Pros: Great location, near a metro station, cafes and restaurants Rooms are clean Great bed and shower Nice lounge area and pool on the roof top, although maxed out during busy times in the afternoon. Courteous staff Cons: No sauna, only a small steam room No kettle or fridge in the room Lack of space to hang towels to dry. No air conditioning (air con is centrally controlled and is set too warm for comfort)

Firstly, it's too pricey and doesn't really offer good value. It feels very hot even after adjusting the temperature to the lowest setting (19 degrees Celsius being the lowest possible). The room is a bit old, and water flows out from the shower room while showering. The bathroom area is extremely dark. This package cost me around $6K HKD, and I can confidently say it doesn't compare well to other new 5-star hotels in Barcelona. The best thing about W is the bar/restaurant on the 26th floor. The staff is generally rude and impolite, possibly including some of the security staff. The reception staff assisting with check-in are also unfriendly, possibly due to a large number of guests waiting.

The hotel is everything you need business or pleasure. The cocktails are sublime 😍. However ask for a room. At the front much better. The only negative is the breakfast we only ate once the cold options are good , however for 4 star hotel the hot was unbearable to eat the worst scrambled eggs I ever tasted I ask to get a fried egg and was told no. This is not the service of 4 stars they had 3 waiters all standing around just to make coffee the chef came out a couple time doing noting. It's such a pity. The breakfast staff are so unwilling to help. I must say the housekeeping is the best I ever seen and the reception staff amazing well done Nico... Will be back but not booking breakfast.

We have been in this hotel many times as a family. The hotel is located in a quiet area. Is not in the city center but well communicated with public transport. The rooms are spacious and the staff is very helpful and friendly. From the ladies that clean every day the rooms to the receptionist. I would like to make a special mention to Farah, one of the receptionist that was very supportive in all our queries. Our stay was excellent, thank you very much

It is very close to the train station and has a balcony with a good view. In the evening, you can go to the bar on the 10th floor for a drink. It is a very comfortable hotel.

The location is excellent. But the room is too basic and not worthy of 4 stars. There is only one electric plug in the whole room, and the computer cannot be plugged in while charging the mobile phone. In addition, it is right above the subway. You can hear the sound of the subway coming and going at night, and you can also feel the vibrations. There was no quilt, just two layers of sheets. Fortunately, I found a blanket in the cupboard and added it to keep me from getting cold. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. The service is okay, but not particularly good.
