Copenhagen Hotels with Bars

Overall decent stay. My room was very basic, it had no blackout curtains, no large mirror and a small sink. Otherwise clean and comfortable, with very nice toiletries, as well as good tea. Plenty of noise from the road, so I wouldn’t really stay here without ear plugs and an eye mask. Slippers were provided on request, the kind of cost cutting you wouldn’t expect when summer prices exceed 200€/night. For international standards, this would be considered a higher end budget stay, but for Copenhagen it’s very solid. The most disappointing part was that I had a poor interaction with one of the staff members on my last day. I called reception to ask if late check-out was available. I was told I can check out at 1PM for 150dkk. I specifically thought that was quite cheap. When I went to the reception, they told me I’d actually have to pay 250dkk, not 150dkk. This wasn’t a significant problem, probably just a misunderstanding, plus I wouldn’t make a scene for 100dkk. However, I did tell the staff member that she said it was 150 on the phone and she seemed to be offended and responded very condescendingly. I just wanted to pay and get out of there. Didn’t really expect an apology, maybe she did actually say 250 and I misheard or maybe she said 150 and misspoke, it’s impossible to say for sure. I was just hoping for a less conflictual attitude, as I wasn’t trying to dodge the fee or start an argument.

I and my son stayed for 3 days (btw 26-29 May ) at a Deluxe Room at 5th floor. Hotel Location was very close to TIVOLI and Central Station. Room was clean and wide. I stayed on ”Breakfast included” basis.. Since I am an omelette or scrambled egg person at breakfast, the breakfast menu was sufficient for me because omelette and scrambled egg they were included under breakfast menu. . However, I've seen same star hotels with much more richer breakfasts of course. 1) Our 5th floor room was reachable via 2 elevators. Firrst you take an elevator and go to 1st floor. Then at 1st floor you walk through a looong coridor. I guess, after this long walk we reach to an additional building of hotel which you cannot understand.. From there you get the elevator again and reach 5th floor. ( I stayed at room 1503 ) 2) Everyday the room was cleaned. 3) The reastaurant staff was very friendly and they were giving service in a very kind way. 4) The reception staff; They did not do anything wrong, but normally I expect a larger smile and more welcoming, energyc, warm attitudes when I step in a hotel. I do not know why I could not feel this at this hotel reception. Secondly, when the Italian male receptionst asked me about my room choice when checking in ( room with a view OR quite room looking at inner garden ), I said I prefer the room with VIEW. However, when I was choosing the room with view, I did not know that room was looking at a street where ROAD CONSTRUCTION was going on. He only told me that street can be crowded only during weekend. I said we will leave until weekend so I thought that I will not be effected from any street noise at a evening. But a CONSTRUCTION NOISE during day that he did not mention was not nice. Overall, it is a nice hotel. But ask where your room is exactly located and ask if you will reach by 1 or 2 elevators. Photos are; from Breakfast and view from my 5th floor room. The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the city centre. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance, and the surroundings are beautiful and feel safe to walk around. There is also a bus stop right in front of the hotel with a direct connection to the airport, and Tivoli Gardens is extremely close by. The hotel is always busy and lively. I was a little concerned about safety because I had to catch a bus to the airport at 3 a.m., but the bus stop was very close, and there were always people around the hotel area. The staff are also available 24/7. You will be lucky if you get clean, quiet, and considerate roommates. The bathroom is quite small, and I think the lower bunk located right next to the bathroom is probably the most inconvenient bed, as you have to deal with quite a lot of noise. The lockers in the rooms are not large enough to fit a cabin-sized suitcase and can only accommodate a small backpack. You also need to bring your own padlock, and I would recommend bringing slippers as well. The bed itself looked clean, but the storage compartments and the gaps around the bed were quite dirty. However, considering how large and busy the hotel is, I can understand that it may be difficult to keep every area perfectly clean at all times.

Overall, we had a good stay. The service was great from the beginning - check-in was smooth, luggage storage was available, and the staff were genuinely kind and helpful throughout our stay. There were also some nice extras for members, including wine and champagne hour. The hotel has two restaurants and a bar, and the location is very convenient. You can rent bikes directly from the hotel, and there are also plenty of city bikes just outside. The parking area is massive as well, which is useful if you’re arriving by car. The standard room was quite small, although that’s not too surprising for Copenhagen, and for a three-day stay it was perfectly manageable. The main downside was the cleanliness. There was a water carafe in the room that you’re supposed to fill yourself, but ours was covered in dust and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. The iron and board were also quite dirty and very cheap quality forcing me to iron my dress for 30 min as the dry cleaning service wouldn’t be able to return dress in time. We also didn’t manage to have our room tidied during the stay. Housekeeping arrived fairly late in the day while we were getting ready to leave for a wedding, so we asked if they could come back later, but unfortunately they never returned. Despite those issues, we still had a positive experience overall, mainly because of the excellent staff, convenient location and facilities.

Nice hostel right next to the lakes. I stayed in a 4 bed room all female room with a great view (see photo). The room was clean and I had a very nice stay. The only thing to keep in mind is that the bathroom is very small with barely enough space to turn and our lock didn't work very well. However, since you could always see that someone is in the bathroom because of the light through the milk glass door that wasn't an issue. The staff was also very friendly! Overall a very nice stay.

There are three Scandic hotels nearby, so make sure you don't get them mixed up! We stayed at the Scandic Copenhagen, which is a modern high-rise. The rooms are spacious with soft beds, and the large windows offer a great view of people cycling past. Directly opposite is the uniquely designed Planetarium. Bus route 26, just a block away, takes you to the main attractions, which is very convenient. There are excellent Chinese, Japanese noodle, and Vietnamese pho restaurants all within close proximity. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the train station with luggage, and the train ride to the airport takes only 12 minutes. The breakfast spread is extensive, and you can even make your own waffles.

I was very satisfied with my stay this time. The hotel's location is very convenient, making it easy to get to all the attractions in Copenhagen, and public transportation nearby is excellent. Copenhagen's scenery is beautiful, the city environment is pleasant, and it's great for walking tours. The hotel's overall accommodation environment was comfortable and the service was good. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Its nearby to the metro station. The location is fine but Way from city center which is okay. First floor is the bar and reception,they are 25/7 open on the desk. The tents were cool but unfortunately i would say it is a risk to leave your things on your bed or under so you have to bring locks or buy feom the desk at 2.75€. As the camp tent doesn’t have lock nor just a tie rooe in front which is just to open your tent to get some air.  Other campers has the possibility that they could just or somebody  could sneak out to a tent they suppose not to. (There’s a chance”.) All good. Breakfast is not as you expected to pay 9€ a bread, a  coffee or a tea and regular yogurt. If compare to hotel or other hostel they offer worth your money. Just saying

This is a no-frills hotel that is good for a short stay. The location is fantastic as it is within walking distance to the main station for metros and trains. The room was very big and we could lay out both of our large suitcases with ease. The neighbourhood is lively but the room was insulated from the hustle and bustle from the streets and we had a good sleep during our stay.

If all you’re selling is a clean room without the expense of added amenities, this is a great find! Close to the metro, train and shopping. just two train stops from the airport and an easy metro ride to Kongens Nytorv and Nyhavn. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety.
