"This stay was a somewhat mixed experience, with mixed feelings overall. Pros: The hotel offered a reasonable value for money. While the exterior was ordinary, the interior was decent, one of the few positives of my stay. Disadvantages: First, the hotel lacks a dedicated front desk, leaving room for improvement in both responsiveness and professionalism. I had communicated in advance that I would arrive around midnight on October 1st, but the staff contacted me at 11:53 PM to say they were closing, which was frustrating—even though the Ctrip website advertised ”24-hour service.” Ultimately, I hurried and arrived hungry 10 minutes later, but the staff member I was supposed to meet had already left, leaving only a colleague to check me in. My first impression of the room was not encouraging. The table, sofa, and bed were all covered in dust, giving the impression of having been unoccupied for a long time. Because I arrived so late, I had to have it re-cleaned the next day. During my stay, I had to contact the staff almost every day to replenish missing items: blankets, hair dryers, mosquito repellent, etc., which was a hassle each time. During communication, the staff's initial response was often skeptical, insisting, for example, that ”there must be a hair dryer in the room.” After leaving me waiting for half an hour, they finally appeared with a makeshift hair dryer, explaining that it had been taken by another staff member—a truly laughable response. The delivery of the mosquito repellent was also a bumpy ride: on the first day, they delivered the electric mosquito repellent, but the plug was missing. The replacement was broken, and it wasn't until the next day that we finally received a working one. Furthermore, the water heater tripped, resulting in no hot water, which affected our normal use. Check-out also encountered a minor hiccup. I requested an 8:00 check-out date, but was told that the office hours were still closed. They suggested I leave immediately and refund my deposit later. Given the previous issues with missing items and service responsiveness, I insisted on waiting until 8:10 for the staff to inspect the room before completing my check-out."
