"I had stayed at HIYO when I was in Kashgar. The hotel’s location is about 15 minutes from the airport and conveniently close the a food bazaar. The hotel even has a nice view from the rooftop, unfortunately I wasn’t able to sit and enjoy since I went during the colder months. The owner and staff was so friendly and welcoming, he picked me up at the airport and when I had asked him for a recommendation for a tour guide, he found a tour guide within the day. The best part is we all spoke Cantonese which made my solo trip to Kashgar so much easier. Thank you Dong Dong for all of your help!"

"The hotel is in a good location and relatively close to most of the major sites in the city (15min cab ride at most). The rooms are clean and tidy and breakfast is quite nice with a lot of options. The receptionists at the front desk are really very helpful, they were able to direct me to the nicest spots in the city and connect me with a reliable tour group to visit Kala Kule lake even though I didn't plan my trip properly or book anything in advance. They made the stay all the more wonderful, and were great helps despite me not being able to communicate in Chinese. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."

We stayed for 3 nights while exploring kashgar then came back for an extra on our back from tashkurgan (storing luggage at the hostel in between). Ella really went above and beyond to help us sort our travels- including contacting local drivers and asking about local events. Good western foods serve in the restaurant, nice and good choices of breakfast. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. I wish to stay in this hotel again in my next visit to Kashgar."
