"Very nice hotel with great location and rooftop pool and terrace with amazing views of river and mountains. The staff was friendly but not a lot of people at the front desk spoke English. We also had a breakfast which was quite good. I would recommend to add some western choices like pancakes, ham, cheese, yogurt bowls."

"When I first arrived I was quite disappointed that my room didn't look much at all like the photos on the listing. My one recommendation is that this is updated so that people have appropriate expectations... However, I could not help but enjoy my stay here. Overall the hotel felt exceptionally good value, laundry was done for me and I had access to a scooter. Breakfast tea and coffee all included as well. Xiaoming is also a fantastic and attentive host, who seems to look after all his guests well."

"The hotel is in the heart of the city , right next to the Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. Also walking distance to the elephant trunk hill and Jingjiang Princes' Palace. Very convenient. The hotel room itself was very clean and comfortable with both coffee and Chinese tea available. I would like to compliment all the staff who served us during our two separate day’s stay. They were so friendly and helpful. They arranged the tea to be served in our room when we returned to hotel at night as it was inclusive in our package. The heartwarming part was when we had to check out very early to catch the train they asked us to pick up some food from the breakfast buffet to take with us. I would like to especially thank 小燕，媚媚，and 娜娜for making our trip memorable. We will certainly come back if we return to Guilin in the near future."

"The bed was very comfortable and the view was gorgeous. Breakfast was stellar and definitely worth eating every day. I will say the staff was a little overbearing when you come in every day. It got to be a bit much when I was just trying to get to my room and they kept asking me questions. Like are you checking in today? Would you like a spa? And I would have to say no it’s my second day here. Really don’t need that much attention every time I come in. Also please don’t ask for five star reviews upon check out. It’s really a turn off and makes me second-guess the whole reviewing process when the hotel is asking you to give them five stars when a proper assessment is always beneficial to both the hotel and guests. "

"We stayed here for 4 nights with as a family of 5 (two rooms, one of which is a room with an extra bed). I’ve written a much longer review for our other booking, but in gist, highly recommend! The services was impeccable and the view of the pagoda was lovely from the room. It was also really modern and the number of freebies from woodblock printing to foot massage and more really sweetened the deal. You could tell they also really cared about service - the guest relation manager even asked us during our buffet breakfast if we had any feedback for them! It especially helped that the buffet breakfast was really good, as well as the hotel restaurant"

"We have wonderful time in Guilin especially our stay at Wing hotel. Hotel is next to the walking street and just opposite the Li river. The two pagodas and elephant trunk are in walking distance (around 1 km). Room is very clean, we book a family room so there is special amenity for kids as well as the decoration. Staffs are very helpful and friendly, they recommend nice breakfast shop and also give us some water and magnets as souvenir. Highly recommend!"

Cleanliness: spotlessly clean. Service: The staff is polite. There was some hold up at check in but nothing worth nitpicking on. Facilities: As a local I highly recommend the Chinese noodle at breakfast table. Other food is typical international fusion with a Chinese blend. The pool and the gym is a bit small, nice if you have to keep yourself at shape during travel but leaves room for more. The executive lounge is a bit rundown and old-fashioned compared to the rest of the hotel. The cafe at lobby level has an elegant minimalistic atmosphere."

MMaggieWe spent three weeks travelling around China in early April and this was probably my favourite destination. The hotel staff were genuinely SO friendly and helpful, as were all of the locals in the area. We had the hotel driver pick us up from the airport for ¥300 which was a 2.5 hour drive - 谢谢司机🙏🏼 When we got there, we met the receptionist who turned out to be one of the kindest people we met the whole trip! He was not only the receptionist but also helped out in the kitchen, and was willing to drive guests to / from places around the village. He lives on-site and has a little translation device if you don’t speak Mandarin 😊 We had two dinners in the hotel which were both amazing, we received complimentary tea and rice wine!! The view from the balcony was incredible. The village has three main viewpoints and the hotel is literally a 5 minute walk from one of them so we heard so many tourists walk by talking about how they wish they would have booked to stay in this hotel! Overall, I would highly recommend and we’ll definitely be coming back in the future but probably in September time as this is when the rice is in full harvest!

GGuest UserWe are a group of 8, 4 adults and 4 children and stayed 3 nights at Yangshuo percent hotel. The hotel is not far from the bustling west street but yet has a quiet side facing the river and mountain. The rooms has a huge space and clean as well. IOur stay was very pleasant because of the warm hospitality of the reception and staff. They were always with a smile and helped us with every question patiently. Lacey from the reception help with recommendation on the places to visit and we could also book tickets through them which made everything a breeze for us. They also helped to book a big private car for us to go to Xianggong Shan, the driver was also very friendly and drive safely. Highly recommend you to check out this hotel when you come Yangshuo.

Some of the tour arrangement service available at the front-desk. The only shortcoming is the lift going to the level 2 hotel lobby is a little difficult to find but it doesn’t affect the overall quality and service of this hotel.

KKenny.PangWe stayed at Four Seasons Fairyland in Yangshuo and overall had a pleasant experience. Initially, we were checked into a room that wasn’t quite ready — it had an unpleasant smell and didn’t meet cleanliness expectations. However, the hotel handled it very well and upgraded us to a much larger, more comfortable room. The upgrade was a nice gesture, and the room we eventually stayed in was spacious, quiet, and great to come back to after a full day out. The daily breakfast was decent — while the menu doesn’t change much, the variety was fair, and we never left hungry. Waking up to views of the iconic karst mountains of Yangshuo each morning was truly special and made the stay feel grounded in the natural charm of the area. Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently near many key attractions, which made getting around and exploring the area quite easy. One big plus: the staff went above and beyond for us when we had multiple packages arriving from Taobao — helping us coordinate deliveries and pick-ups smoothly. That extra support was really appreciated and speaks to their thoughtful service. A minor downside: the TV in the room didn’t work initially and took a bit of troubleshooting on our own to figure out a fix. The only real disappointment was with the in-house photography experience. While the photographer was skilled and we enjoyed the complimentary 3-photo package, the editor’s attitude left a bad impression. She was impatient and didn’t give us space to decide which photos we wanted to keep or buy. I’d suggest just enjoying the 3 free photos and skipping the upsell unless you really want more. Overall, a solid stay in Yangshuo with great service, beautiful views, and thoughtful touches — just a few things to note depending on what you value during your trip.

IItsJimBooking and Check-In I booked my stay at the Shixi Landscape Hotel in Yangshuo, Guilin, through Trip.com. The check-in process was very smooth and didn’t take long at all. One pleasant surprise was the option to upgrade our room for free, which we accepted. This upgraded room came with a lovely balcony. Although the staff couldn’t speak English, they were very friendly and helpful. Using a translation app made communication easy. Room Details We stayed in a standard double room with an upgrade to a balcony room. The room also featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch. Upon entering, the room was fairly clean, though there were some water stains on the floor and the carpet had a few dirty spots. The amenities were average, including a selection of soft drinks in the minibar and some snacks on the table. Despite these minor cleanliness issues, the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Facilities and Services The hotel had a restaurant where we received a complimentary breakfast upgrade. Unfortunately, the breakfast did not meet our expectations. While the Chinese food selection seemed okay, the international options were quite disappointing. The sausages were undercooked, the bacon was not good, and the cereal options looked and tasted stale. The only decent international option was toast with butter. It’s a relief we didn’t pay extra for it. Although I noticed the hotel had a spa, gym, and pool, I didn’t get a chance to use them. The pool looked nice but was small and shallow, not suitable for a serious swim. There was no room service available as far as I knew. Location and Accessibility The hotel’s location was fantastic, situated right next to the Li River and only a short 5-minute walk to the main shops and streets in the town. It was very easy to find and access, making it a convenient base for exploring Yangshuo. Customer Service The overall customer service was great. The staff were very friendly and polite, and we encountered no issues during our stay. Overall Experience The best part of our stay was the hotel’s prime location, which made it easy to visit tourist attractions. The hotel staff were also very helpful in arranging scooter rentals for a very reasonable price of ¥30 per day, which allowed us to explore the beautiful scenery around Yangshuo. However, there is room for improvement. The breakfast selection, particularly the international options, needs significant enhancement. Additionally, a thorough deep cleaning of the carpets would greatly improve the room’s cleanliness. In conclusion, while I would recommend the Shixi Landscape Hotel for its location and overall good service, it is on the pricier side for Yangshuo. Given the cost, I expected a bit more in terms of breakfast quality and room cleanliness. Nonetheless, it is a decent option for those looking to stay near the Li River and the town’s main attractions.

RRoss William KenjiLi River Resort is an amazing place to stay in Yangshuo. Located just outside of town, but close enough for a 5-10 minute car ride into downtown. The staff speak English who are all very friendly and accommodating. The onsite restaurant is very delicious ranging from local cuisine to western tastes. The beer fish is amazing! Massages are also available by appointment in which they come to the comfort of your room. Overall Li River Resort is a 10/10 and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Yangshuo.

LLeeTomThis Hotel is a hidden gem. The room was comfy and the view is to die for. The host paved and mapped out paths for us around the Hotel for the best views of the yangshuo mountains. We enjoyed the serenity and tranquility here. The air smells fragrant with osmanthus and fresh pomelos planted around the vicinity. The guide dog was so adorable and smart. She guided us all the way to the peak before the dawn, then waited for us to finish before guiding us back down. The host was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. She fetched us from the pier upon arrival and took us to the pier when we departed. She is also very open and kind in helping us navigate our way to the Hotel when we got lost. 22morrowsworldSplit duplex room near roof. Upper and lower levels separated by a narrow spiral staircase. The The upper floor contains a king bed, air conditioning unit and large balcony. Balcony opens out to expansive view of Yangshuo town, Xijie and karst topography. Lower floor has a clothes cabinet, tea set and kettle. The bathroom is also on lower section. Bathroom is equipped with a non slip floor in the shower cubicle that has a partial glass partition. A very secluded unit which sits above the fifth floor restaurant. Perhaps a little inconvenient that toilet/bathroom are separated from bedroom, but pretty good value considering the low tariff (only 120 RMB per night).
