Chateau de Sukhumvit is a great hotel, offering spacious, clean rooms and a smooth check-in process. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the stay comfortable. I arrived late in the evening and was handed my room key at check in. The key was attached to a big metal plank which had the room number on it. I detached it as it wouldn’t fit in my pocket. Coming back to the hotel I forgot my room number. I went to reception to ask them to double check and handed my id to her. Two old woman at reception got very angry and was rude. Telling me I shouldn’t do that and I’m not allowed. They were reluctant to tell me the room number even when I showed them my id and made me feel like I was doing something bad. Rude staff and definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. I’ve attached a photo of the huge key the expect you to carry and it wouldn’t fit in my pocket and I had no bag. I even tried to explain and show them that my pocket was way too small. Don’t see why it’s an issue to leave that huge silly thing in the room

No way you can the shower temperature right unfortunately. Update: Tuk tuk goes hourly from morning to 9pm

Tuck tuck driver is so kind The disadvantage of the hotel is so far from the subway station. But they provide pickup service

Good but... - no tooth brush and tooth paste (without letting me know) - no hairdryer (do you expect a foreigner to carry his own hairdryer from his country?) - staffs do cleaning since 8:00 AM with very loud noise. Do you expect guests to wake before 8:00 AM? I expect an improvement in next time. I will vote all 5 if you improve.

Very nice hotel. Big room and very clean. They provide shuttle to Onut BTS Station. Highly recommended

This is a very comfy and perfectly located hotel with affordable price, and very nice, helpful and welcoming personnel! This is not my first stay here and I hope I’ll return here again! Thank you for a happy stay!

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Location is ok, about 10 minutes walk to the nearest MRT station.

Good hotel nice staff clean rooms and there is a coffeeshop next to the hotel where there is a art gallery very nice place would recommend this place

There's a Karen lady at the front desk. Trust me, you wouldn't want to go to a Karen-managed hotel. The word, Karen lady, alone should explain pretty much how you will experience during your stay. Save yourself the headache and stay at somewhere else while you're in one of the best cities in the world.

This is the worst hotel you can ever get, although the room and hotel are nice. The receptions aunties and night shift girl are all super rude, they treat guest like prisoners, and remember do not give 1000baht deposit as you doesn’t smoke, they say you smoke in the room they smell it and deduct 500baht from you. Their so call free shuttle tuk tuk service will not work at all, they only work from going out of hotel, said hourly but if you’re late like 12.02 just 2minutes they will point and tell you wrong time. Remember, their coffee sachet is very precious to them, I was out of room 3 days they deliver 3 package of hotel amenities which include coffee, the 4th day I ask for clean room they see so many coffe they stole it back, my other staffs ask for extra coffee they scold and ask for 20 baht, rudely to said, 3.5star hotel but service worst than a budget inn or backpackers hotel. Rubbish hotel

A great five star hotel in looks and quality of room. but at a 3 star price. If you don't mind a ten mnute walk from the main road and shopping area then its perfect.
