If you're looking for a budget-friendly option that offers basic amenities, this old but decent hotel could be a solid choice. The building definitely shows its age, with some worn-out furniture and decor that could use an update, but everything is clean enough for a short stay. The staff is friendly and helpful, providing service with a smile. While you won’t find luxury here, the rooms are surprisingly spacious, and the bed is comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. The Wi-Fi is decent, and there’s a basic breakfast available in the morning, which is a nice touch. If you’re not expecting anything fancy and just need a place to crash for a night or two, this hotel fits the bill perfectly for its price.

Good location as it was 2mins from Khaosan Road and 6mins from bus stops.
Due to being near to Khaosan Road it does get a bit noisy at night (especially Friday/Saturday night) but it doesn’t affect the ability to sleep - our room faced the road.
We did have to close the bathroom door as we could smell a sewage smell coming from the bathroom, it must’ve been somewhere in the pipes because we couldn’t see anything.

Environment: Independent courtyard, next to the Democracy Monument, 1 Michelin star downstairs, massage parlor, local restaurant with no stars and high ratings, Khao San Road, really great. The room is very spacious, the bed is comfortable, there is a refrigerator in the room, and the air conditioner is a bit noisy.
The sanitation is also very clean. I can communicate in English at the front desk of the hotel. I stayed for 3 days and had good food and drinks. beautiful

If you are people who are into shopping & wanted to spend more time at say Erawan area, this hotel is definitely not for you, despite the hotel nearby has a metro station, but heading to Siam Square, Rachaprasong district is very inconvenient, you have to take the metro to Silom station & change to the sky train, and to make things worst, the MRT doesn’t have the store value card, resulted you have to waste so much time buying ticket every single trip, and machine is so sensitive over their notes, rejected several times till have to see staff at control to sort out the issue.
Wanted to head over to the floral market, map indicated less then 2km, the tuk tuk wanted to charge THB400 for one way, while hotel told us, taxi cost is less then THB150, end of the day, we decided to use the GPS map & take a leisure walk there.

I recently stayed at Hotel Sapin, and overall, it was a great experience. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable, allowing me to sleep well every night. The hotel also offers free shuttle service to nearby popular attractions.
In terms of service, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Whether it was asking for sightseeing recommendations or making special requests, they were always attentive. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the food was fresh—several dishes were particularly delicious.
Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, and I would definitely consider coming back next time!

The hotel is nice, not too far from different attractions. You can get a car or Tuk Tuk right in front of the hotel or use a hail riding app like grab for convenience. The Lawson downstairs is quite convenient and the staff are really nice. We enjoyed our stay and are glad we booked here. They offer different activity packages to book and a shuttle service for an additional cost. Overall the hotel is nice, we did not get to enjoy the pool because it was too cold and we did not have the opportunity to enjoy it with sun. The spa 100/100 the traditional Thai massage was great and worth every cent.

Pro: Very clean and nice! The room was very comfortable and the staffs were very nice too. It's near icon siam and other big malls, about 20-30 minute walk. Nice cafes and restaurants nearby.
Con: I stayed in first floor room. The window is completely blocked and useless. My room was outside the hotel entrance. Right in front of it was smoking area so I could smell cigarettes from my room when people were smoking outside.

Great location. A few minute walk away from BACC, MBK mall, Siam area, centralwOrld, Jim Thompson museum, BTS station, etc.
The room is the perfect size for me. Big windows, and a small smoking area you can access. Doesn't feel claustrophobic. Staff is also friendly, and very helpful.
I just don't like how their towels are not white. Feels dirty. I didn't use them to dry myself. The toiletries must be requested from the staff. They have a list of available items. I prefer having them laid out already. I think the walls are kinda thin, I can hear my neighbors moving about.

Outstanding
JJkoh1Good location. Directly linked to MBK (via level 2) and National Stadium BTS. There’s a 7-11 at level 1. Modern and clean room. Buffet breakfast spread was good and some food items were changed daily. Go before 9am to avoid queues. Can reach Siam square, Siam paragon in less than 15min walk. However sound proof is quite bad. Can hear the traffic sound at night on level 19
TtheshortmonsterI recently stayed at the Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20 and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The hotel is centrally located between Asok and Phrom Pong station, very near to Terminal 21 and the new Emsphere shopping centre. And there are a wide selection of good clean massage shops outside the hotel.
The check in process was smooth and efficient. Even though I checked in very late close to midnight, the staff at the reception were very welcoming. The staff was very kind to upgrade me to a room that comes with a bathtub! Appreciate the very kind gesture.
The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and I appreciate the amenities provided. The housekeeping team did an excellent job as will in maintaining the room each day.
The service from the concierge staff was exceptional as well. They were always friendly, professional and eager to assist with my requests.
Overall, I highly recommend Courtyard Bangkok Sukhumvit 20. The combination of excellent service, convenient location and very comfortable room made my stay truly enjoyable.
AAnonymous UserThis place is pretty much close to Donmuang Airport. If you’re here for waiting for the flight or coming from the late night flight, here is the best place with a very good price, including the breakfast was very good. Variety of the food like sushi and some American breakfast also some Thai. That place is nice more than I thought. Clean and good looking. Shout out for the GUY who worked as a Night Shift without glasses. Checked in us very nicely and clearly informed. IMPRESSIVE since i walked into the hotel. There is 7-11 in front of the street walk like two minutes. Only thing that don’t have was the toothbrush kit 🤘🏼
LLigayaMariaWe stay for 3 nights in this hotel and it was great experience. The staff are nice very accommodating. The breakfast buffet delicious 😋. Overall it's Great hotel 🥰I can recommend if I have friends planning to visit Thailand.
GGuest UserGood location, near Samyan mrt station, nice hotel with nice interior and friendly staffs, like the breakfast restaurant ambience relax and cozy, and with good variety of food choices, gym is well equipped
LLucasI had an incredible stay at Maduzi Hotel! I booked this hotel to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. Prior to booking the hotel, I was liaising with them through email and they were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the process. They kindly upgraded our room for free, and the decoration package, which included beautiful balloons, flowers, and a cake, was absolutely worth it. My girlfriend felt so special, and we were both blown away by the thoughtful details.
The team was incredibly friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. The flexible check-in time made everything even more convenient, and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Although the location is around a 7 minute walk from Asok station, we still found it accessible.
Maduzi Hotel exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a personalized, warm, and memorable stay in Bangkok. I’ll definitely be coming back!
SStephenhotel to try out I’ve stayed in most hotel in the SUKHUMVIT…. Beds and pillows and shower location and all the staff are amazing and very friendly that stay with out let letting you no …. I really enjoy staying there when I can get in …pool area was nice super location food and drinks
AAnonymous UserThe staffs care only about foreigners, a Thai person as myself always got ignored by the staffs. When I drive into the hotel, there was no security guard at all and when I parked my car, no staffs were there to offer me help to or tell me where the lobby is. The signs were confusing. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, they don’t change the bedsheets or bathrobes at all, I came back to still found the dirty bathrobe I left on the floor being picked up and hanged back on the door hook. I wouldn’t trust them for the cleanliness of the room after seeing this. The room is not soundproof at all, you can hear all the sounds outside in the hallway and I can even see the light from the hallway all night so it didn’t offer me even the basic like goodnight of sleep for 3 days because all I can hear is the other rooms’ door closing sound all night for 3 nights. Even worse, the policy is no smoking but I can smell smoking everyday that I stayed here. I told the staffs 3 times but they didn’t take any action at all. Until the last night, I came back early and saw the room next to my room openly smoking in their room. Plus My room lights also all went out when I inserted my keycard, I thought my keycard was faulty so I went down to the lobby to change my keycard and complaint to the staffs about the smoking and the loud sound. They offer apologies and they said they would take action about the smoking. They even have the audacity to ask me why I don’t tell them earlier and do I know which room smoke. I’m a woman staying here alone, even if I heard or smell anything, would I dare to go out of my room to check? Common sense right? At last they resolved the smoking issues because when I went back to my room after I complained, the room next door was shut tight but I came back to my room still unclean (at this point it was 5pm already and I left my room at 8am, plenty of time to clean my room). The lights still wouldn’t turn on, I tried calling them from the room line but the staffs wouldn’t pick up the phone. I had to go out of my room to find the housekeeper and had them call someone to fix this. Half an hour later, the handyman showed up, told me he needed 1-1.5 hours to get this fix and proceeded to ask me if I hade some business to run. I said fine because I had some appointment and I would be back around 8-9 pm. I came back at around 10pm, I asked the lobby staffs if my room got fixed already, they said yes and please go check it myself if the lights came back, if not they would change the room for me. So I got back to my room. I was lying down ready to go to sleep when, tada!, the room’s light and ac went out again. I called them from the room line again, lucky they picked up this time, I told them I would like to get my room changed. They said would send staffs to help me move my stuffs. I cleaned up my things while waiting for staff to show up and show me a new room (during this time, the light came back and went out repeatedly for 2-3 time). I had to wait for them for 10 minutes at 11am. They moved my stuffs to the new room in the same floor but a bit smaller room. I wanted to get my sleep so I didn’t complain about the room being smaller and not what I had paid for. I got to go to sleep at about 12-1 am. In the morning, at around 11am they called me asking me would I be checking out today. I mean they wouldn’t even offer me late checkout for what I had to really because of your faulty electricity and all the problems that had occurred while I was staying here. I wouldn’t stay here again😤.
GGuest UserInspite of the Google reviews not being so positive, we thought the hotel was not bad especially for the price we paid for 4 days. Had all the amenities and the room looked nice too. We didn’t hear any noises from the nearby club at night. Definitely an older hotel but it’s got a charm to it. Room service and hotel staff were always quick to help when needed. We got their breakfast on the last day and it was one of the tastiest pad Thai I’ve had, along with many more breakfast options. Loved we had a washer/dryer in our room and it worked pretty well. Wish they had given us a small sachet of laundry detergent so that we don’t have to buy one only to waste it. Finding a Grab was not too bad to and from Bangkok downtown. Never got to check the pool or the gym because we were too jet lagged but looked good in the pics. We would definitely recommend this
SScott Chung NaiLocation is tucked away from busy places. Quieter and easier to book grab. 7-11 Is right beside the hotel. Nearest BTS is about 10-15mins walk from the hotel. The hotel is indeed has aged and in dire need of maintenance makeover. Air conditioning was good and solid and not noisy. Cleanliness really depends on your luck of getting which room. Was so glad my room was clean and decent and no cockroach in sight (from the reviews I read earlier). If you purchase breakfast on the spot, it will cost 200 baht per pax. Quite decent breakfast with variety selection of pasta, instant fried noodles, pad thai, porridge, fried rice, vegies, various meat selection, pan cakes, french toast, various kind of bread, sunny side up egg or freshly cooked omelette, fruits and salad, breakfast cereals, and lastly juices, coffee and tea. Overall summary of my stay would be, worth the $$ I paid for in exchange for a comfortable experience. Ask if I would come back and stay here, yes I would.
