The staffs tried to over charge for everything even after the agreement. Sad. Don’t stay here.

I recently stayed at The Capital Residence Suites and while the hotel offers some helpful services, the overall experience was let down by poor cleanliness and service standards. To start with the positives — the hotel provides complimentary airport transfers, which was very convenient. They also offer city tours to the main attractions, which made sightseeing in Bandar Seri Begawan easier and more accessible. However, both the housekeeping and breakfast service left much to be desired. In my room, used cups were left unwashed, coffee and tea supplies were not replenished, and tissues were not restocked even though they were clearly running low. This gave me the impression that the housekeeping staff either rushed through the cleaning or overlooked basic hospitality standards. The breakfast experience was even worse. The cups provided were completely unclean, some with visible dirt or residue, which was very off-putting. Staff were seen playing with their phones instead of attending to guests or checking supplies. When the bread and sugar ran out, no one took the initiative to refill them. Tables were full of used plates, and the staff only started clearing them after we had finished and left — not during the breakfast rush, as expected. Although the front desk staff were polite and helpful, the poor attention to cleanliness and service in both the rooms and the dining area negatively affected my stay. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their overall service quality.

Good: you can fill up the google form on their official hotel website to request for the complimentary airport transfer to hotel. When you check in, you can also pre-arrange the complimentary airport transfer to the airport. Not so good: They prioritise their airport transfer first, only if they do not have airport transfer, then they will allow you to book the free shuttle to the city attractions. Therefore, please do not rely so much on the free shuttle. You may want to download Dart App before Arrival into Brunei. Dart is Brunei Car Hiring App like Uber or Grab. Dart only accept cash payment.

The service at this hotel is truly excellent. The staff is incredibly nice. They have a lovely free breakfast, complimentary airport drop off, and really go out of their way to assist you. The room leaves a bit to be desired. It was mostly clean. The walls were dirty. The AC was a bit broken so the room could get super hot. Monkeys also run wild on the property—FYI. My only gripe with my stay was related to the cleaning service. I got in quite late the night before and was sleeping in. I was awoken around 10 am by the cleaning lady who was taking an extremely (I mean super loud) call in the hallway waking everyone up, including myself. Other ways I was awoken by housekeeping who comes around 10 am. A bit too early more me personally. I politely discussed this matter and it immediately stopped. But I would recommend informing staff about this in the future because my sleep was affected multiple days in a row. Other than that a wonderful stay.

Convenient and overall good experience highly recommended. We enjoyed Brunei more because of the services offered by TCRS. Free shuttle to/from airport, very helpful staff, drop off and pick up to the must see places in BSB (the drivers are very nice esp Mr Boy who is very nice), good location close to these sites walking distance and the room is clean with good variety in breakfast. Easy to contact by whatsapp and email. Value for money, amazing 3 star hotel. The receptionist have good handover of work, you can book your trips and the next shift will deliver it well.

The location of The Capital Residence Suites was very convenient, and the service was truly excellent — the staff were always friendly and helpful. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, which affected our overall comfort. The amenities were average and could use some improvement. Overall, it was a decent stay thanks to the great service, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and facilities.

The shuttle service was excellent. However, the room was not cleaned when I arrived. Although I had booked the airport shuttle the day before, it was forgotten. There are cats. I saw monkeys in the morning. Please consider breakfast as a way to recharge your energy for the day.

Good price for traveler which need transfer , rooms are old but clean . Very happy with the pickup and drop off service .

Excellent stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was wholesome and there was a good variety of food. The room was clean and had all the amenities that was needed for the trip.
