We 1st time visited Desaru & check in Hard rock hotel as early as 12.30pm. Most surprising was that Waterpark were open on eve of ***** New Year, thought it should be close for maintenance on every Tuesday. Family enjoyed very much at hard rock hotel & were looking forward to revisiting again.

We had a great stay at Hard Rock Desaru! Big and spacious room with balcony facing the pool. We had 2 meals at the hotel and both restaurants were yummy. Great service from the team. If you are heading to the adventure water park, it is connected to the hotel! We will come back again!

Overall great experience for staycation for weekend getaway ! Would be great if more activities to join in the hotel. Food varieties for buffet is good!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Desaru with our family, including our 3-year-old twins. The hotel perfectly blends a vibrant rock-and-roll atmosphere with family-friendly amenities.The kids' pool area was a highlight for us, featuring splash zones and shallow waters that kept our little ones entertained for hours. The staff were incredibly attentive specially duty manager Syam who helped us with in getting interconnected room since our request didn't go through in the system, and the hotel's thoughtful touches, like kid-friendly dining options and a welcoming vibe, made traveling with toddlers so much easier. The private beach is 5 mins walk through a short passage crossing WESTIN. Our interconnected rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fun rock-themed decor that our twins loved. We also appreciated the proximity to Adventure Waterpark, which added an extra layer of excitement to our trip. Overall, Hard Rock Hotel Desaru is an excellent choice for families seeking a mix of relaxation and fun. We'll definitely return!

Rooms are clean and spacious! Very convenient as it is connected to Adventure Water Park and nearby to food places as well. Live bands at night makes the hotel very lively. Very kids and family friendly too.

Was an excellent one night trip to Hardrock. Kids loved the hotel and the activities. Staff was so courteous and accommodating. We had a lovely time

Love my stay here….the staff are all friendly… A bit sad i didnt get a connecting room and my room has no view cos we are at level 1 and very far away to the back.Love the live band to.

I recently stayed at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru and had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel rooms were excellent—clean, tidy, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The facilities were great, offering everything needed for a relaxing getaway. The welcome drinks upon arrival were a nice gesture, setting a positive tone for the stay. The F&B outlets were equally impressive, with a good selection of dining options that I thoroughly enjoyed. That said, the breakfast spread, while sufficient, could be improved to better reflect the high standards associated with the Hard Rock Hotel brand. The reception staff were polite, but I felt they didn’t fully embody the signature Hard Rock hospitality vibe that sets the brand apart. Additionally, the check-in experience, while smooth and efficient, was quite ordinary and lacked the engaging atmosphere that would make it more memorable. Overall, my stay at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru was enjoyable, but with a few refinements in service and breakfast quality, it could truly elevate the guest experience to match the brand’s reputation.

I was there for a business meet for 2 days , first look its a big hotel , the staff is extremely friendly , polite and treated us very well . The rooms are just wow, great interior and spacious . The food was very nice specially the breakfast was well spread. The swimming pool is big and very well laid out .

The staff very friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and check-out process. The hotel vibes relaxing and catchy with nice oldies song when entering the room Variety menu for breakfast for kids and adult. Nice croissant, my kids love it Kids room and splash water park also is a kids favourite place.

Very good service, you can walk to the beach through Westin Hotel which is next to it or they can pick/ fetch you with their buggy. Location wise is ok if you are just planning to chill within this area, quiet as well.
