I loved the room! It was perfect, beautiful presented. The cottage was in an ideal location, very close to many things for example monkey forest, arts market and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay. The breakfast and service was incredible!

I was living in a small house in the middle of jungle. Nice and friendly stuff, big and comfortable room with a terrace .

Well-run and well-maintained, surprisingly quiet although close to the middle of (extremely busy) 'village" (in reality a town). The food is from nearby Bisma restaurant and very good. The breakfast delivery to room service is great. Staff are extremely helpful although limited English can be an issue occasionally (they can generally find someone with better English if there's an issue. There are 4 newer one-bedroom "villas" at the bottom of the property (it slopes downhill so there are some steps). I think these are slightly better than the original villas as they have large glass sliding doors on to the terrace. The whole property has a 'forest' feel with lots of vegetation and shade. The town itself is pretty overrun with tourists (traffic jams and lots and lots of motorbikes) and this is a bit of a haven. If you want more peaceful surroundings, you need to get a more rural location. However, it's near the local temples and museum. The evening performances at Pura Dalem (temple) are highly recommended-arrive at least 30 mins early for a good seat. Overall, I would recommend it given the caveat about being in a ver busy small town.

Rooms are comfortable. Personel are super friendly. We enjoyed our stay as family. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good service and location, nice travel experience in Ubud, but mosquitoes are annoying

The hotel is in a great location, quiet in a busy area, like living in the Wizard of Oz. There are restaurants, bars, and cafes outside the hotel. Turning around is the bustling market. Ubud Palace is also nearby, and it takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the Sacred Monkey Forest Park. A great accommodation experience.

It feels like a private house, so it's comfortable. The interior is also clean. However, there are a lot of mosquitoes. T.T The staff is very friendly! The breakfast was delicious.

The main door is on the roadside, but the rooms are far from the roadside. Although there are noises from the bar at night, they stop before 11 o'clock, so it is very quiet overall. The room is very large, and both children have their own beds and sleep very comfortably. The hotel price is more than 500, but it includes three beds and breakfast, so it is very cost-effective. You know, going out for breakfast may also cost more than 100. The TV in the hotel is very large, but you need an account on foreign platforms such as Amazon to watch movies. If you buy it, you can only use an Android phone, which is very strange. The waiter can't solve it. In the end, I can only watch the foreign version of Tencent platform, but there are no popular domestic dramas.

The hardware facilities are not satisfactory. They are all quite old. There are no toiletries and slippers. There is a bar at the door that is very noisy, but singing and music are not allowed after 11pm. The breakfast is OK. The courtyard is cozy, but it is really not worth more than 700 a night.

The hotel is elegant and looks like a small garden, with Indonesian style. We booked a triple room, with a large bed and a small bed with wheels underneath. The room was very small, the bathroom was quite large, the facilities were old, and the door of the cabinet made a loud clattering sound. There was basically no service, and they didn't care about taking the luggage. The price-performance ratio was not high, and it was not as suitable as the other hotel we stayed in.

I am very satisfied for the price! However, the accommodation itself is classified as a guesthouse and not a hotel/resort, so you should not go there expecting a hotel/resort. First of all, the staff is so friendly and nice! The feeling of the accommodation is also amazing and nice as it feels like I'm visiting a Balinese local's house. There is also a small, private pool. The structure is a two-story structure, and there are restrooms on both the first and second floors, but the shower room is only on the second floor. I was very worried because there were reviews saying there was no air conditioning in the room. The room with the bunk bed had air conditioning! Oh, by the way, after entering the address of Samas Cottage and checking in, I went out of the entrance of the accommodation and entered the small passageway to the left of a restaurant, and went through the side door to find our accommodation, so I was confused. There are mosquitoes and bugs in the room, so I recommend sleeping with curtains on all four sides of the bed. I saw about three mosquitoes, and bomb ants on the inside lid of the toilet? I also saw some kind of dangerous bug. There were also two lizards in front of the door of the accommodation. ⭐️The most important thing is From 8:30 to past 10 p.m., there was a live performance and singing along to the guitar at a bar or restaurant right next door. It was hard to sleep because of all the noise, singing, etc., as it was a road with many pedestrians passing by. I took a picture to upload a video when writing a review. Videos cannot be uploaded here. Anyway, even though I am not sensitive at all, the noise was so loud that I thought it was too loud. I could even hear everyone singing along. It was difficult for me because I had to go to the airport early in the morning the next day. If you don't mind sleeping a little late at the accommodation and there are no restrictions on waking up time, I think it's generally the most cost-effective accommodation :) And if you need to check out early in the morning, be sure to check in in advance. Let's talk and come up with a way, shall we? 4:30 in the morning? I went to check out around 5 o'clock, but there was no one at the reception and I couldn't contact them, so I had a hard time.
