I'm sharing a very bad stay, especially for families with children, even though the front desk staff was very friendly. 🔴The cleanliness was terrible, and the children immediately developed allergies: I checked in with my two children, and within five minutes of entering the room, they started itching all over their bodies. I inspected the bedsheets and found large, obvious black stains. I called the front desk to request a replacement. Even after the replacement, the sheets still had visible blood stains! The room was infested with mosquitoes. The children were bitten whenever they left the mosquito netted bed. Over two days, the two children had 21 bites all over their bodies! I don't know if it was the dirty sheets or the mosquito bites (or both), but the skin allergy was severe, with redness, swelling, and bumps all over their bodies. One of the children even started bleeding. I clearly told the hotel that the other boy had asthma and a severe allergy could cause suffocation! But they didn't seem to care. The next morning, because my child was in serious condition and I had other plans to attend, I immediately requested a refund through the booking platform. I explained the situation in detail and uploaded photos of my child's allergies, mosquito bites, and bed sheet stains as evidence. They surprisingly refused, stating, "I didn't complain in person upon check-in." This puzzled me: * I clearly requested a change of sheets immediately (even though they were still dirty). I also called the front desk, and they told me I could check out today, but they wouldn't refund me a penny unless I spoke to their supervisor the next morning. I was completely at my wit's end. I told them I'd have to give a bad review before the hotel would agree to a refund. A very satisfying stay at the Bali Villa Hotel. It is well managed and there are no mosquitoes as expected. There is a private swimming pool in the courtyard. The service is also very enthusiastic. The sanitary environment is good. It is very quiet at night. The price-performance ratio is good. I regret that I changed to another hotel after only staying for one night. The difference is huge.
