The Sebali Penida Beach Resort Reviews

The hotel had only been open for a month, so it was unfinished. However, the hotel was absolutely beautiful. We had a pool access room, and it was perfect. Great views, food was good and staff were attentive. Overall I think once finished this hotel would be fantastic!

This is a new hotel and as a result there are a few minor teething problems, but the staff are very enthusiastic and most issues are resolved quickly. There are several decent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, but if you want to visit proper beaches then you'll need a scooter or to arrange for transport. Note that Grab and Gojek do not work on Nusa Penida. Breakfast was very good and especially the coffee: equivalent to what you might expect in any decent cafe.

Great new hotel, modern clean rooms. The staff is super friendly and helpful, especially Ari and Dwipa. Breakfasts are big and delicious with a view of the volcano. The pool is clean and warm. Conveniently located between two ports. Will definitely come back.

On the north coast of Penida, with a good view of the volcano across the sea, this is a new hotel in 2025 with a limited number of rooms. Some parts are still under renovation, so you can enjoy the feeling of having the entire hotel public area to yourself when you come back during the day. Because it is on the street and there are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, the restaurant across the street is also in a good location to see the volcano. The sea view room (not a tree house) I booked is divided into two floors and is large enough. The upstairs is super large for many people to gather, and the downstairs room is next to the swimming pool, which is also convenient for jumping in. The facilities in the room are also good, with separate bathrooms, many mirrors, and a TV to watch yotube, etc. I haven't studied screen projection. The only drawback is that there are a lot of black caterpillars when I get up early, and the breakfast is not very delicious

It’s very convenient to charter a car after getting off the ship! The nearby restaurants, bars and massages are very convenient! The room was big and clean! But maybe it was a holiday and the towels were delivered a little late!

The hotel is excellent, delicious breakfasts, which is rare in Asia. The restaurant at the hotel is the best place to eat on the island. The staff is one solid plus, definitely 5 stars. The hotel grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The pools are clean and always free. You can feel that a lot of work and money was invested. The rooms are all thought out and beautiful, large rooms with a comfortable bed, good shower, etc. But the dampness simply spoiled the whole impression. We checked into a room, we saw mold on the ceiling. The staff responded quickly, offered a more expensive room (a separate villa) and most importantly dry. But in the end we chose the same type of room, we really liked the room, but the dampness was still felt, I don’t know if this is a problem of this island or if the standards were violated during construction, but the impression was spoiled, because the hotel, as far as I understand, is completely new, not even six months old and it was unexpected.

We stayed 4 nights with a family.of 5 and took 3 rooms with pool access. Sebali Penida is an amazing place to stay! All the staff were exceptional and looked.after all our needs and demands. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were kept clean and very comfortable. I celebrated my birthday there and the staff even went and found some cake to sing happy birthday. They do need to get wine / champagne glasses and also high chairs for guests or visitors with small children to eat at the restaurant. But as a new resort I am sure these things will come. Tip: there is a magic snorkelling spot right in front of the resort you can just swim out too - no need for boat hire- just get some snorkel gear. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this report to others.

Great stay. Good service from all staff, especially Alet who took great care of us. Comfortable beds, nice breakfast and great location near the beach. All amenities were lovely and can recommend. We really loved the pool outside our room also.

What a beautiful resort. Love at first sight. I canceled Ubud and took a boat to Nusa Penida. So happy to stay here and hope to come back in the future again. Ira , thank you very much for your advice! Kolak Singkong (cassava brown sugar dessert ) was so delicious! Plus Design & friendly staff Minus port pick up fee is 250k one way seems too expensive Main pool was too dirty and not clear, too scared to go in
