Nice bungalows with all comforts, nice white beach to relax on with bar for food and drinks, they can organise boat trips and excursions for you at a decent price. Unfortunately I feel like all the famous beaches around which you are supposed to go see are packed with tourists and full of plastic, I think they should take care of the beaches where they send their clients to, our boat trip was nice but we cut it short at one point cause the beaches were too crowded or dirty. We personally picked up 2 full big plastic bags of rubbish while the boat crew set around smoking. Also the lunch boxes were not great. The Ruan Thai restaurant was very nice, book a day in advance though cause it fills up quickly. The spa also is great, very good massages and nice environment. Cute village nearby to walk to for drinks, dinner, cheaper massages and mini markets. All in all nice resort but not an unforgettable experience.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. They collected us from the pier with our bags and carried them directly to the room, and the same leaving the island. The hotel is all individual tree top cabins. This can be a hike/long walk up a hill to the room depending on which one you stay in. The hotel is located on the beach with a private beach which is lovely. You can walk across the beach for 3 minutes to the main path around Phi Phi. 5 minute walk from the hotel to restaurants/shops. Taking 15 minutes to walk to the pier. Or you can get a tail boat taxi directly from the hotel beach to take you around the island or day trips. The hotel’s breakfast was 5/10. The average buffet style breakfast. The pool bar doesn’t exist when we were there and doesn’t look like it has been open in a long time. The rooms were cleaned everyday. I would not recommend the hotel for young children or people with reduced mobility.

We were greeted warmly at the reception & got a beautiful pool facing Room with the backdrop of the Sea. The pier is barely 5mins walk and the Hotel had sent a cart with the man holding our placard. The Room was spacious for 3 Pax & was totally comfortable. The location of this Hotel is prime and the food joints & market streets are all walking distance. The breakfast spread is good enough to start your day with… Relax in the pool or just across the pier to take a private tour in the Long Tail Boats. This a must do if you are staying in this Island. You will be surprised to watch the fire shows, music & dance at the beach Parties. This Island has some lovely restaurants with delicious local cuisine and a wide spread platter for Sea Food lovers. Chill with the “Chang Beer” and interesting Cocktails. We stayed for 3 nights and had a memorable time….Our room commanded a picturesque view!! We will definitely be back here. Only improvement required to be done by the Hotel Management is to renovate the bathrooms & fittings as these are dated.

You can’t find a more spectacular location to stay. Our bungalow was number 505 and was on the beach front literally a stones throw to the water edge. The sand is white and water clear just as you see in the photos. Things to bear in mind. Cleanliness was not as good as expected. Under and around our bungalow there were things left behind by previous guests a lot of rubbish, slippers, towels which had been forgotten. The bathroom and shower was outdated and felt old and we didn’t dare use the outside shower as that whole area looked dirty and stained from the wildlife. I had to ask the cleaner one day for a cloth to clean the table outside on the balcony as it was stained from beverages used by guests before us. The breakfast area really was quite gross. I didn’t feel like i was eating in a clean atmosphere. Really basic things like the table cloth on the breakfast bar were stained and tatty. The bar being quite open to the outside had stains from the fauna which seemed to flow in and out at their leisure. Staff were attentive however you never saw anyone cleaning when they weren’t doing anything. Its a pity as it would make the atmosphere much more pleasant. We did encounter some problems with the verandah door not opening and it was resolved immediately. The hotel took full charge of collecting us from our previous hotel in phuket taking us to the ferry port and the boat trip to the island for 1500 baht per person also the trip from the resort by boat to the next hotel in Krabi also for 1700 baht per person. This service is a real benefit because otherwise you have to take several boats and taxis and avoid all the hassle! Also another thing which was fabulous and my highlight of my entire trip to Thailand was the private long boat tour to ko phi phi leh. Not for the visit to Maya beach (however it was included) but for the swimming in the lagoon and snorkeling experience. That was worth every baht! You pay for the boat up to 4 ppl and its 2080 baht for 4 hours. Highly recommended!

Thank you very much to the boss 🙏🏻 Because I made a mistake in booking on the same day, it was entirely my problem. I booked this hotel without knowing clearly that the hotel was outside Phi Phi Island. Thank you to the boss for his kindness and finally agreeing to cancel the order, and thank you to Trip for their customer service. I will specifically choose this hotel to stay next time🙏🏻

We are a couple in our 40s from Scotland. This hotel deserves more than 3 stars. The staff are so helpful and we got an upgrade to a superior hut as it was my 40th birthday. This is a very peaceful secluded area of phi phi island and good to enjoy the slower life. The food was delicious. There are only a few bars and restaurants in walking distance and these all stop serving at 10pm. The air conditioning is also not the best in the room as with them being huts it’s like a sauna when you first walk in. Please pack plenty of mosquito repellent as I had so many bites when I stayed here. We came over in the ferry and left our luggage back in our Phuket hotel, I would highly recommend bringing a small bag only here as it’s all boat transport. Apart from the small negatives I would not hesitate in returning to this tranquil hotel. Take a boat trip round the rest of the island. Bring Bahts too as there is no atm in this part. Simply stunning location

The team were generally pretty good, there when you needed them but also out of your way when you were relaxing. We had the Deluxe suite Seaview and the room itself was great, clean and ready to go. Balcony view was nothing short of spectacular. The bathroom whilst useful had one of the worst patch jobs I have seen, not a tradie but I could have done a better patch of the bath. The other item on walking into the room was the sheer volume of rules which also backed up at the pool. Can only assume they have had some trouble with guests in the past but have noticed on Phi Phi everywhere likes lots of rules. The beach restaurant was immaculate and nothing like a meal on the sand with a view second to none. Short walk to all the activities on the island and have to recommend the massage on site.

We had a wonderfull time here. Honestly, we were a bit freightened by some of the reviews before we got here, but none of it was true. Excellent location, hospitable host at the reception, clean and nice looking room with all the wood. There was a mistake in our booking that they were more than willing to fix without any additional costs. All in all, the price/quality ratio was great. I would advice them to redecorate the garden though. Although the pool is great, the lack of chairs or couches is rather inconvinient. And all the tiles make it warmer than it has to be.

Phi Phi Island is an amazing place to visit and staying at this hotel will definitely make your trip even more memorable. The hotel's proximity to the pier is a big advantage as it allows for easy access by long tail boat. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and they even offer pick-up services from the pier which is a thoughtful gesture. The hotel's restaurant serves delicious food and the beach is just a few steps away, making it convenient to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The snorkeling experience is simply breathtaking and can be enjoyed at any time of the day. The night show is a great way to spend the evenings and is highly recommended. In addition, Maya Bay is only a short 20-25 minute ride from the hotel. On the flip side, the wifi in our room wasn't working properly, but the inclusion of Netflix on the TV kept our kids entertained. All in all, this hotel is definitely a great choice for anyone planning a trip to Phi Phi Island.

This hotel is in a great location we stayed in one of the villas it looks lovely inside but we was put in one round the back and as two girls travelling. I did feel a bit unsafe walking back on the night as it was very dark and again fences where I think Staff must work. We didn’t eat breakfast here as it didn’t look very clean so can’t really comment on that the pool area was nice we had food around the pool one day. It wasn’t very nice and the cutlery was dirty so I would recommend eat out, the staff was very helpful. We had booked to stay here for four nights, but cut it short to 3 and that was not a problem. this hotel is located right on the beach, which was nice if you want to hire any boats or kayaks to go to monkey beach etc, we was a bit worried at first, as the safe didn’t work, but everything was fine and nothing got touched. Make sure to where deet when staying as we seemed to wake up with bites everyday , I would stay here again if I was in PP

GGuest UserDeparting from Phuket, AW's big boat + speedboat takes nearly 3 hours, passing through several scenic spots on Phi Phi Island. If the weather is good, it is pleasant to enjoy the sea breeze along the way.
Email in advance to inform the time to go to the island, and the hotel staff will pick you up after arrival. The service is not bad. The overall environment of the hotel is pristine, and the beach 🏖️ and the sea water are very beautiful. The breakfast is also good, with few varieties but the taste is okay. I also enjoyed the beautiful sunrise 🌅 and the starry sky that cannot be seen in the city 🌃.
There is a rocky beach at the entrance of the natural resort next to it, where you can snorkel. If you swim out, you can see a large school of fish, but because there is no coral, the overall underwater scenery is not good, but it is good to walk from the hotel. It is very close and enough for children.
Go to the right along the beach after leaving the hotel. There is a food stall with delicious food. There are many boat bosses who take the business of snorkeling at sea. Generally, the long-tail boat charters 1600-1800 baht for 4 hours, which is a good price. Because it was my first time to go snorkeling, I chose the hotel's diving center for the sake of being conservative. The Italian guy who received us was very nice. The price was a bit expensive, but it was safe. The black guy who took us out to sea was also very good. He took the children to snorkel and said that they saw Nemo.
The only drawback was that there were too many mosquitoes. Each leg was bitten by at least a dozen bags, which were very itchy, and the skin stress reaction would cause big lumps. I hope the hotel can have a solution here.
RRoam03429704586Not happy with the experience at all. First, when we arrived on the main island, we were told to wait an hour until the long tail could take us. The guide told us he would watch our luggage, but when we came back, no one was watching it. We were then told that the tide was too low for our complementary long tail, so we needed to pay THB 200 to ride a public one. We got to the resort and checked in. The workers at the front desk were not friendly. We were brought to our bungalow in the far back corner. These bungalows are old and dark. If you book here, book the new bungalows. Luckily there is working hot water in the shower. The beds are like sleeping on a wooden box. Only 2 pillows on the bed, the shades are not blackout, and you cannot turn off the porch light at night. The picture windows are boarded up. The tv is old without Netflix, etc. the hair dryer doesn’t work properly. The breakfast is fairly good. The dinner selection is the usual Thai/American menu. Lots of drinks, smoothies, fruit choices too. The view is great. The private beach area is good. No beach towels or mats are provided. You have to bring your own or buy from them. We asked for 11:30 checkout and were told no. The grounds aren’t kept well. The weeds and grass are overgrown. Just down the way, the Paradise Pearl is beautiful, and we are envious of those. We definitely do not recommend staying here unless you are going for cheap price & cheap quality.
GGuest UserMy husband and I booked an Ocean Cliff Villa for 4 nights and everything about this place was wonderful, from start to finish! The room had a beautiful traditional Thai feel about it with exceptional views, and we instantly felt relaxed and happy as soon as we arrived! As keen divers and snorkelers, this area is amazing with such a variety of colorful and interesting marine life, we even used one of the (free) kayak's to explore a nearby beach for more snorkeling. The restaurant served some of the tastiest Thai food we have had, and the cocktails....well what can I say?! Superb and such good value for money. Staff always greet you with a warm welcome and waved us off as we left, nothing is too much trouble and we felt like we were treated as friends from the first moment we stepped foot on the resort. The nature trail through the jungle and up to the viewpoint is well worth it, we did this twice and saw wild monkeys on the 2nd day. We recommend using mosquito spray for the jungle trek which is readily available at the small reception shop if you don't have any already. As a couple, we enjoy quiet, relaxing places (away from hustle and bustle and crowds) where we can connect with nature and this place ticked every box! A highlight was watching the crabs on the beach as we enjoyed our dinner (and a few cocktails) after the sun went down. We loved it so much, we have already reserved another 4 nights next January and are so excited to return! Thank you to all the wonderful team at The Cove :-)
SshesekmatokThis hotel is a short walk from the pier. It is located close to the louder part of Koh Phi Phi, Dalum Beach. Extremely close to slinky's bar. Google maps will take u most of the way, but it misses the last left turn (pic enclosed). The nice girl that work the front desk is over worked, but nice. Got in earlier than the check in time and spent a couple of hours at the pool till my was ready. The rooms are assigned ahead of arrival, so you may get lucky, or not. Pool/Beach towels are available at the front desk. I've picked the cheapest room. It faces nothing much and no view. I advise u to pick the rooms that overlook the pool on the 2nd floor. The room is pretty small, but there's room for everything. Mini fridge, 2 free bottles of water, coffee tea, some amenities for the shower and some reasonably priced snacks. TV is there. Haven't used it, so don't know what's on. There's a balcony with 2 chairs and a small table. Hot water - check! The pool - my favorite spot. Great surroundings for sun bathing. There's a long happy hour for food and drinks. The island itself isn't as cheap as Thailand. Water will cost almost twice as much if it's not the filtered kind. The island is small, at least the part you don't need a boat to get to ☺️ The best way to know it, is to walk around. There's a small market with fruit and vegetables and local stands, bars, restaurants, everything is within a walking distance. There's a 1000 baht deposit at check in. WiFi doesn't work well in the room. Feel free to ask questions and enjoy 🏖️

GGuest UserThe Beach here and the views around this place are stunning and amazing you couldn’t ask to be somewhere like this on a daily basis. We were lucky to come here over the rainy season for 4 days and we only had rain in the evening so no complaints there The Pool although small was refreshing and a change from the sea after snorkelling Breakfast we had a day of just eggs toast and cereal and a day with everything only complaint no teapots Lunch and Dinner a nice small menu with good choices Bar unfortunately no bar as such you would have to visit the hotel next door which is a shame because not a lot to do once it gets dark Staff we found to be pleasant and helpful and always smiling and will help with anything Rooms beds are firm we asked for extra pillows which was no problem you have room safes a big sized bathroom. The rooms are dated and are in need of a good maintenance person as you will be able to see faults straight away but they work and they do the job It’s very easy to nit pick about this hotel but for the price and the location you’re getting a lot for your money It’s not a five star hotel but it is in a beautiful place
GGuest UserThe room was nice, we were a family of five with kids. Spacious room, great view, adequate bathroom. The place itself felt a bit run down and the steps would put a lot of people off staying here. Everything went well, we were no bother to the hotel, didn’t ask for our room cleaned, didn’t complain, were quiet and respectful etc etc. so when we came to check out we were so shocked to find that we were being fined for going over by 20 mins. We know that rules are rules but we also know that there is discretion and common sense. We just cannot understand why a run down hotel like this, that needs all the help it can get is actively letting relatively happy guests go on a bad note!!! A 200baht fine on check out leads to only one thing - a negative review.

UUser TWe chose this room because it was the only one that looked nice (to our taste) from the available hotels for these dates, and we also extended it, since we couldn’t t leave due to health conditions. Of course, before booking it, I checked what is available in the room, there is no excess in the form of bathrobes, slippers and toothbrushes. I thought it is the island, probably everywhere, but no. We were not allowed to stay in the room for more than half an hour, there was a storm and we couldn’t leave the island again and checked into another hotel, how surprised I was when, for a fee less than in Andaman, we got a room with a bathtub with slippers, bathrobes, a balcony and a garden on it, and I felt sorry for the time spent in Andaman. It is also very noisy in Andaman, there is a mosque nearby, and conversations can be heard from neighboring rooms

CCeline RThe room was clean and REALLY good considering how much I paid. The location was very ideal. The guest house is close to the main areas (beach parties as well as the bars) but far enough away that you don't hear the noise of the parties, if you want an early night. It's also very close to the view point start. The staff were very nice and spoke excellent english. They were very helpful when it came to making travel arrangements and suggesting fun stuff to do! Overall very happy, would stay there again. Cannot recommend enough.

I stayed here 6 years ago and it was quite a nice place, so I decided to come back with my partner. Upon walking to the hotel, there's a bridge with what I can only describe as a sewer which leads directly to the sea, it turns your stomach before you even enter the resort. We was welcomed by a lady on reception who checked us in. I had wrote to them the day early to ask if a staff member could meet us at the port to help with bags and show us directions to the resort as I forgot the way. They confirmed someone would meet us, I sent them my arrival time and no one showed up. And what a shock, every guest for the next 2 days we're complaining the same at reception. Anyway, onto the room. I had booked a deluxe bungalow (photos attached). It was full of dead bugs, it hadn't been cleaned in months, the bed sheets were stained, and the 'garden view' was a small area full of rubbish. To make it even better, it was on the sewer stream too. A lizard ran into my room when I opened the door, my partner had to remove 3 long centipede things from the room on the first day. The night time the entire bungalow, or shed we should name I, was rattling with the booming music til 4am from the beach, also not advertised... I complained to TRIP.COM who I booked the hotel with, who were also extremely useless in helping me, so I went to the reception and complained to the lady who said, the entire resort is noisy... ??? Why not state on your website it's for young kids who want to get drunk all holiday then??? Anyway, we was DOWNGRADED to a hotel room above the lobby. Exactly the same thing, dirty showers, stained bed sheets, dirty fridge, full of dead spiders. The noise was slightly less as that was the ONLY room with double glazed windows. I managed to stay 3 nights because everywhere else on the island was fully booked. My stay was supposed to be 5 nights. I'm 30 years old, me and my partner live in Magaluf, so we're are FAR from fussy. But this place is beyond a joke. The lady laughed at me when checking out early and didn't even ask why or apologie or offer a refund for my stay. One last thing, I saw a family try check in. The lady had a new born baby and a girl ages around 3/4yrs. There room had been cancelled without knowledge and was stood there for over an hour crying and upset as they had no where to stay. WITH A NEW BORN BABY!!!!!!!! I Think this was resolved but I highly doubt they got any sleep what so ever. If you want your trip to phi phi to be ruined, I advise staying here. If not, check out the opposite side of the island, the hotels are the same price and 10x higher standards.

HHMurrayThe service for this hotel was amazing. Our luggage was collected and taken to the hotel from the port and the manager/lady at reception was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic and made us feel really welcome. The hotel location is a little far despite being a small island and the hill is steep but it didn’t stop us from going out or enjoying phi phi. It made it feel more secluded if that’s what you are after and the view from the pool of the beach was amazing with a few nice quiet bars around, just not near the center. The room itself was quite disappointing, the smell was bad, there was a massive cockroach on its back in the bathroom and when the shower was on the light in the bathroom flickered.
