As a well-known century-old hotel in the local area, it is very good in all aspects. The hotel was very patient in communicating with the hotel to send a car to pick me up at the airport. Even when there was a problem with the credit card guarantee account for my reservation and the deduction was unsuccessful, the hotel still reserved a room for me and arranged a pick-up at the airport. The century-old hotel is very atmospheric. The pick-up vehicle is very new and the driver is very friendly. The hotel front desk is very professional. The family room duplex I booked is very suitable for me to live with two children. The cleaning staff has a good attitude and does things neatly. The location of the hotel is very good and it is close to the Republic Square and Dagong Street. There are many breakfast styles, delicious bread, and I don’t know if the cake is the same as his famous afternoon tea. It is also delicious but sweet. Since I had dessert every morning, I didn’t have afternoon tea specifically. The only problem is that the sound insulation between the upper and lower floors of the room is not very good. I can always hear the sound of furniture being moved for decoration, and it starts to make noises early in the morning before I wake up. . The bed and mattress may be a bit old, and it is very bumpy when turning over, but it is still very soft and comfortable to sleep. There is an ATM machine in the hotel, and the restaurant atmosphere is particularly good, especially the outdoor area, which is very lively. It was great to stay in the same hotel with my favorite Brad Pitt🌟

Reflecting on our experience at Joy5 Hotel & ”SPA” in Belgrade: Hotel Staff: We extend our commendation to the hotel staff for their consistent warmth and professionalism. Their practice of rising to greet guests upon entry is a testament to their hospitality. However, it's worth mentioning the logistical challenge posed by the 150-meter distance between the drop-off point and the hotel entrance, particularly with luggage in tow. While a golf cart service is available, its operational reliability remains inconsistent, occasionally necessitating a walk during inclement weather. Housekeeping Service: Our experience with the housekeeping service leaves room for improvement. For guests staying beyond a couple of days, the expectation of refreshed towels and bed linens is reasonable. Regrettably, this anticipation often requires proactive reminders, accompanied by a degree of reluctance from the staff. A more accommodating approach in this regard would be greatly appreciated. Accommodation and Facilities: Turning our attention to the accommodation, our reservation for a ”queen” room revealed an unconventional configuration involving twin-sized platforms and an additional top pad. The usage of a simple sheet as a bed cover resulted in nightly adjustments, and imperfections in the sheets themselves were observed. An attached photographic record is available for reference. The confines of the shower area present limitations, with water overflow being a noticeable concern. On a positive note, a surplus of aging towels is readily provided to address such situations. Locale and Surroundings: The hotel's location along the Danube contributes to a serene and tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, the convenience of proximity to a modestly-sized mall enhances the overall guest experience. The availability of fresh air further adds to the appeal of the surroundings. Overall Impression: In conclusion, our stay was marked by enjoyment and contentment. However, considering the tariff structure, it is reasonable to anticipate a slightly elevated level of service and quality. It is pertinent to note that our attempt to secure an upgrade was met with assurances that were not subsequently fulfilled. This situation, although mildly disappointing, did not significantly detract from our overall experience. Our assessment of the stay remains generally positive.

Ideally located hotel. Stay here to be within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, shops, museums & sights. All the staff we encountered were very polite & spoke very good English. They were always willing to offer tips for restaurants, sights & transportation around the city. The breakfast had a great selection of healthy options along with the choice of freshly cooked meals. Even though the hotel is situated near to many bars, restaurants & the main shopping street, we never had a bad nights sleep. The rooms were well appointed & kept spotlessly clean. I would definitely stay here again.

I really liked the hotel. It was our first time in Belgrade, so we have nothing to compare it with, but it definitely deserves five stars in terms of service, equipment and the building itself. The infrastructure is all new. Loved the roof terrace. The hotel management needs to more actively promote it among guests in good weather, because the views are gorgeous, and such a good terrace is really rare. There could be questions about the interior itself, of course, since the style of the hotel is not for everyone. But overall everything looks good and decent. My husband liked the spa area, the massage therapist did a great job, and a good workout room. All in all, a great place to stay for a few days in Belgrade.

The hotel is quite small but pleasant. It's not modern, but it's clean and the staff is nice. The trams and buses are quite close (up to 5min by foot) and closeby are some good restaurants and caffes. Be prepared for a strong cigarette smell in your room, at least it was a case with ours and we could not get rid of it during 3 days stay. The breakfast is small but has dicent options with some small day to day varietes. It has a small parking outside.

I’d say this hotel fair-to-middling. It’s in a quiet side street, about a five minute walk from Republic Square. My room was clean although small. The staff were friendly but that’s where the positives end. My air conditioning was permanently set to 23 degrees and when I mentioned this to the chap on reception he informed me to ‘open the window’ Hmmmmm! There is also a private spa advertised on their website but this cost €50 to book. Extremely expensive! Breakfast was very poor and the eggs, bacon and sausages in the metal chafing dishes were all cold. A few good points but too many negatives!

I would highly recommend this hotel. The location is perfect. It is in the city centre. We got a lovely room in the front of the hotel. Big and clean Breakfast was nice. Plenty of choices. I have to say the staff are fantastic. Two members of staff in particular. David is so helpful. I looked for more hangers on the first evening and within two minutes I had another 10 hangers. Later in the week I need laundry bags for packing and a few minutes he got some for me. Nothing is a problem. A very pleasant man that never stops smiling. 😄 Tamara was also very helpful and pleasant Doesn’t that make all the difference when you book into a hotel. You can’t go wrong if you stay here

The Hotel is in a renovated old building very close to Republic Square and Knez Mihailova Street, which is the main pedestrian street in Belgrade. The rooms decor are very nice and both rooms and bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. The pillows, bed sheets and towels are crisp clean. The staff are very friendly and extra helpful. Especially thanks go out to Sani and Irena for all their help and assistance during my stay. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Belgrade.

GGuest UserWhile the decor was modern and the cleanliness satisfactory, there were many aspects of the experience that fell short of expectations.
Firstly, the absence of appropriately sized cups for the coffee machine was a notable inconvenience. Despite providing coffee, the lack of corresponding cups rendered the machine unusable, which was disappointing.
Additionally, the bathroom amenities were subpar, resembling cheap, generic products found in supermarkets rather than the expected quality of hotel-grade toiletries.
However, what truly exacerbated our dissatisfaction was the poor service attitude demonstrated by the host. When we communicated our delayed arrival due to a flight delay, the host abruptly ended the call midway through our conversation, displaying a lack of professionalism and courtesy.
Furthermore, the inconsistency regarding the checkout time was deeply frustrating. Initially informed of a 2:00 PM checkout, we were later informed of a revised time of 12:20 PM, with the host confusing the pronunciation of ‘2’ and ‘12’. During our attempts to clarify this discrepancy, the host abruptly terminated the call, leaving my girlfriend and me feeling rushed and unduly pressured to vacate the premises.
Overall, while certain aspects of the accommodation were satisfactory, the overall experience was marred by inadequate amenities and unprofessional service.

GGuest UserThe hotel is not far from the 72 bus station, but it takes a step and has to cross from the alley. The room was good and breakfast was good. It takes about 20 minutes to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport, about 200 RMB. It is recommended to take a taxi to the airport to save time and effort. No 72 is allowed, it is not recommended to take it. The hotel goes out and turns right to the famous Moscow hotel. Overall good value for money.

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is great, super close to Knez Mihailova and Kalemegdan. Our room was so clean and the bed was super-comfy. The ambiance of the hotel is so cool and cozy, you can hang out and make new friends at the hotel bar & terrace. The staff was so nice and friendly, especially Milos is a hero, he remembers every detail about the guests! Definitely, we will stay here again, a must-go one.

GGuest UserThe hotel is exquisite and luxurious, but it is relatively small. The window of the executive room I booked is facing a very dilapidated residential building, which is very unpleasant... I don’t know whether the decoration of the hotel is the manager’s aesthetic or Serbian’s preference for using environmentally friendly fake flowers and green plants. , this seems to have a very low price and affects the quality. The lighting is too dim and is hard on the eyes. The location is not friendly for people who come here specifically to travel. It makes me regret moving here from the Moscava Hotel. I have to walk to the Grand Duke Street and the Fortress. My leg was broken, so I didn’t check for buses because I thought it would be troublesome. There may be buses that go along the way. If you want to walk from here, you have to go through the ring square and it takes a lot of effort to go around. I just came to Bay City on the first day. OK, I don’t recommend any more. But the hotel staff are all very nice, nice, humorous and reliable. If you add a 7-year-old child to breakfast, you will be charged a meal fee. The breakfast is okay. I stayed in six hotels in Serbia and Montenegro. This is the only one that provides free drinking water and the water is of high quality. The decoration facilities include all glass drinking water bottles, so I feel that it is not friendly to children. It is suitable for adults or business. There are few people in the hotel and it is very quiet, suitable for those who like quiet.

Very Good
GGuest UserStayed here for 4 nights in the mixed dorm. Check in was pretty straightforward and all the staff needed was my passport. I was shown the kitchen, then to my room on the 1st floor. The floor has a common area, two bathrooms with toilets, plus one outside sink. I counted about 20 beds in 3 dorms, one each for boys and girls only, and one for mixed. The dorm is very clean, as are the beds. The sheets and bedding smelled nice and fresh. Each bed has a private light, an electrical socket, two shelves and a privacy curtain. Mattresses were comfortable. Even though the windows were kept open and typical of spring weather, the duvets felt very warm. Each bed also comes with a designated locker and is large enough to fit even the largest backpacks. The locker comes with a key, as well as a passcard for entry into the floor and reception area. The dorm also has several different modes of lighting and at night everyone is really respectful, keeping the lights down and quiet. The kitchen has cooking stoves, a microwave, filtered water dispenser, is well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, cutlery and cups. There’s about 5 chairs arranged in the breakfast table style. The staff are zealous in keeping the kitchen clean and clearing away washed dishes. This hostel has the cleanest and best stocked kitchen I’ve ever used. It’s cleaner and better stocked than some houses I’ve been in. The hostel is located in a residential area. Location wise, this hostel is off the tourist trail and public transport is the only realistic way for getting to/from the sights. The hostel is popular with Russians, some of whom are long term stayers. So the place doesn’t have the same hostel feel as others, but that’s not a major problem. Overall, I had an excellent stay. Everything and everywhere in the hostel is organised, clean and tidy. The lack of bathrooms could be difficult at times. Two bathrooms for my floor wasn’t a lot even though the hostel wasn’t full. There can be a bit of a queue, especially in the morning. In the hostel’s defence, there is a private bathroom on the same floor and the staff allow the guests to use it when possible.
GGuest UserPerfect place for business trip. I really like new design of rooms, the shower looks so modern! The Internet was fast as my boyfriend works remotely, it was really important for him. Calm, clean, and very nice restaurant terrace outside. I will come back again. Thank you ❤️
GGuest UserI am so embarrassed that out of all the places I travelled to, this one happened to be in my own country. We were getting married on the week of our stay, namely Saturday and have made a booking in 2 parts - Wed, Thu small room they have, Sat-Mon, big luxurious one with the glass roof for our wedding. As far as the little room goes: It was horrible. I read some people complained but I didn't believe so we went ahead. The room is in a separate building two doors down. The building itself is in ruins and is having some construction done around. They have 4 rooms in the same corridor behind a locked door, one next to the other. So first thing, as of early morning and long into the night there is CONSTANT banging of doors as people go in and out. Further, room is musty as hell! Tiny window overlooks this shabby backyard and makes it dark and gloomy. Then comes the main part, it was filthy! I fell so bad not having taken the photos! Bin in the bathroom had the new bag in it, but underneath the bag was rubbish from the previous day. My partner put a towel over the glass barrier of the shower to dry and when he took it back, it was BLACK. In the toilet there was only an empty shell of the bowl cleaner and then the sink was all smudged EVERYWHERE. But we stuck with it as we knew on Saturday we would be checking into the nice one and it was convenient to just move stuff 2 doors than go somewhere else. Then the real horror started. We scraped some money to book a nice place to get ready for our wedding and spent our first wedding night. We chose this place as it looked so nice in the photos. It was NOT cheap, people don’t pay rent for a month in Belgrade in the amount they charged for 3 nights. Taken by the experience of the horrible room we stayed in, I told the receptionist we wanted to see the big room before we go in as we don’t want the same. They said ok and took us. On the way to the room the receptionist tells us “it is a little warm”. That weekend was extremely hot. We go up and the apartment is BOILING. The only AC they have is set on 17 degrees (none in the bedrooms) and it is still super hot. Mind you the place has a glass roof so it is like an aquarium. Then, it was NOT like in the pictures, there are chips and damages everywhere, and is not at all looking fabulous like in those pictures they put but more worn out. We asked for 5 minutes to think about and the guy let us and left. We sat there for 5 minutes SWEATING and looking around and thinking there is no way that I will be getting ready for my wedding, taking beautiful pictures and spending my first night as a married couple there. Plus the glass was opened into the yard and neighbors from the other floor could see straight in. We came down and said we will not stay. They said, ok, call Booking.com and let them know. They were more or less ok about it and we left, the day before our wedding, running around Belgrade looking for a place to stay. I called Booking and they said they would ask
