Cons: The rooms are outdated. The carpet smells. The beds are ok. Some parts of the rooms are really dirty even with cobwebs (see photos). The balcony floor is filthy and not maintained. Staff are ok, but other than one male reception, the rest are not friendly. They are not rude, just not welcoming and friendly as how someone facing customers should be. The housekeeping team: On two occasions, they just opened our room without knocking, and it was still before check-out time. This is a serious issue.
The aircond was leaking, and no one came to fix it after reporting it.
The pool is small, and no pool towel is provided.
The hotel also charges Rm5 if you ask for an extra towel. Insane!
Pros:
The hotel looks nice from the outside, and so does the lobby. The 3 bedroom apartment is huge. The room service food is affordable compared to other hotels.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an overall pleasant experience, mainly due to the very friendly and welcoming staff. However, I would rate my stay 6/10, as there are several areas that need improvement.
Swimming Pool Experience: While we respected the rule of wearing swimming caps, the caps provided were reused, still wet, and had an unpleasant smell. This was quite unhygienic and should be addressed.
Towel Policy: We were required to register when entering the pool, which was fine. However, the restriction on bringing the towel back to the hotel room was inconvenient, as we had to return it while still wet.
Facility Access Issues: The Kids' Room and Gym were inaccessible as our access card did not work, no hotel staff inside as well. This was frustrating since we were unable to use these amenities.
Renovation Disturbance: The hotel was surrounded by renovation noises, which made it difficult to fully relax during our stay.

Had a good and comfortable stay here. The place was clean, easily seen and traffic was not heavy even though it was just across from the beach. Microwave, fridge, plates, frying pan, cutlery provided and a clear signage Halal food only, no pork alcohol allowed.Kudos to Minso!

The location of the apartment is amazing. It is so beautiful facing the Strait of Malacca. The decoration is very comfortable and clean. Just bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. There is a king-size bed room, a twin bed room, 2 bathrooms, a large living room with an unbeatable sea view and a large bay window. It is perfect. There is a convenience store downstairs in the apartment. It is very convenient to check in and check out. It is also very close to the Malacca Strait scenic area. It takes a few minutes by taxi.

Price , location and everything was good. But amenities very lacking - only body shower provided. No shampoo, conditioner etc. toilet roll was very little…. And the pillows are too hard… I have to use the blanket as pillow instead… but no regrets booking this, will definitely come back to this Airbnb

It has all the elements that bring you close to the local heritage. The hotel management spent 5 years from designing to building it, retaining most of the original heritage while allowing patrons to enjoy all modern facilities.
Loving the idea of “daily movie night” - it’s a well thought activity for those who are too tired to travel in evenings.
Service crews are mostly friendly, and I enjoy their kind gesture and flexibility.
It’s not as costly as the other few top-tiered heritage hotels. I highly recommend this hotel who those who love simplicity yet still hope to feel close to the local heritage.

ZZFHRegular guest at this hotel due to its relatively spacious & comfortable room, huge bed & fluffy pillows, excellent location within The Shore Shopping Mall, adjacent to the Melaka River, & nice eateries at the nearby Kg Morten, as well as the convenient parking. My only complaint is the noisy mini-fridge that disrupted my sleep a bit. Overall, a satisfying stay.

Location is very good, with parking at the premise available and around 10 minites walk to Jonker Street.
The staff is also very friendly, greeting is everytime they saw us.
There is also a filter water machine right outside our room which is a big plus.
However, I think the wall is not that good with noise, can help a bit on the neighbour room.
But overall, we had a very nice and comfy stay. Will definiyely come back if ever visit Melaka again.

They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. HHilmi KhalimOne of the best hotel to stay in Malacca, not a busy location. Everything was good but we had a problem with lift where it takes us some times up to 30minutes waiting with either full load or special service (as if we are not special as a hotel guest).
Amenities should have been excellent but most of the shopping tenant had closed down, less choice to have your lunch or dinner in the same building. Hopefully more tenant will come in and make the shopping gallery great again and make it even worth to stay here.

AAnonymous UserI’ve booked 3 rooms. When i arrived i had to contact the host myself. Normally the host will contact us before checking in to ensure we could check into our rooms smoothly. The hotel should remark that we have to contact the host before checking in if they wont contact us first. Because we have to fill a form for each room so it takes so much time. I even have to wait for the host to set our room. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but there’s 1 room that we had to check in at 6pm. The host asked us to park at the mall’s parking which we have to pay ourselves if we did. After negotiating the host agreed to give us the parking card first but we had to wait in my sister’s room first. It has 5 lifts for both blocks but only 2 lifts can be used. Had to wait almost an hour to get ourselves inside the lift. Other than that, the water supply in block b was yellow. Would definitely not repeat to stay here again. But on the bright side, the rooms are spacious and clean. Suitable for families
