It's a great location for a quiet stay
I enjoyed delicious fish, shrimp and squid at a local restaurant right next door.
It is enough to walk 1 km to Jonker Street in 15 minutes.
There is a large supermarket across the street and the location is perfect!
The accommodation has 2 rooms, 2 beds/4 beds, and the living room is spacious enough for 7 people.
The downside was that the water pressure in the bathroom was low, which was a bit inconvenient.

I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

The hotel is newly opened however the maintenance of the room is poor/ dirty. I realised this seems to be normal for most hotels in Malaysia. Eg - it can be a new hotel but they don’t seems to keep it well-maintained after some months. Unlike what Singapore hotels do - constantly keeping the standards high and clean.
The front desk staff are mostly helpful and friendly, especially Ms. Noor - showing us her big smile everytime we passed by the front desk, or asked her for help. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed! :)

The hotel was previously known as Ramada Hotel. Dusit Princess conmends operation in early December 2024. So, they may have to tidied up before operation. Thus, it is clean, room big enough for 3 Adults. The showers' water strength were strong. Hot water temperature control was good and consistent.
Air-conditioning temperature was not consistent although fan speed was ok.
The gym is well equipped. Swimming pools look clean good for both adults and children.
Overall, I would recommend to stay.

This hotel was in a fantastic location in the heart of Melaka - so it was very convenient to come in and out of the hotel constantly in between shops and restaurants. The decor in the hotel is very nice and has lots of character with nice paintings etc. We stayed in the Kapital room on ground floor which was very large and bathroom was also large and bed was very comfortable. The free snacks and drinks was also a nice touch. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was OK, just need to get there earlier so that when they make the food it is warm. The staff were super friendly and helpful - and also organised transport to next destination at a very reasonable price - the staff were perfect. The cleanliness was excellent. The hotel rooms itself were very quiet - the only annoyance was people in the carpark at the back which was just outside our room late at night constantly letting off fireworks - ideally security should be able to get them to go away considering it is illegal to let off fireworks. The other issue in the room was the power kept disconnecting and connecting making a loud noise each time and meaning one needed to manually put the air conditioning back on each time which is OK during the day but not at night - this may have been a one off issue. We would definitely stay at this hotel again when in Melaka - we would probably stay in a different room though as there are many other options available. It is good value for money, fantastic location, fantastic staff, very comfortable and convenient.

During my recent 5-day 4-night stay, I booked a family suite and had a pleasant experience overall. Initially, the room provided had issues with the air-conditioning, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating, promptly agreeing to switch us to a new room without any hassle.

It's located in the center of Ayer Keroh which very convenient for visitor if have any event nearby especially in MITC Melaka. It's suitable for park and rest type of hotel rather than for leisure as very lack of restaurants or any sightseeing within walkable distance.
The room is spacious and clean compared to the price offered. Plenty of carpark (open) is available.
Its location near to the Masjid Al Azim which is convenient for Muslim.
During check-in, guest have to pay Deposit (refundable) of RM50 and RM2 (not refundable) for local tax.

TTravel open our eyes and minds### Review of Hotel Majestic Malacca
I recently stayed at Hotel Majestic Malacca and had a mixed experience. The room was very clean, and I enjoyed a nice bathtub experience, which was a highlight. However, the soundproofing in the room was lacking; I could hear conversations from the next room until midnight, so it might be helpful to request a quiet, non-smoking room when booking.
Additionally, there was a noticeable smoking smell coming from next door, and the pillow had an unpleasant odor. I found the mattress to be too soft for my preference, which affected my comfort.
The room featured a coffee machine, and I appreciated that I could request additional capsules. I also liked the eco-friendly touch of using glass bottles for drinking water. However, be aware that items like cup noodles and drinks in the fridge are chargeable.
Breakfast offered an à la carte menu that was just average—acceptable but nothing special. I didn't have time to explore the gym or swimming pool, as my days were filled with walking around Malacca city.
The toilet amenities, however, did not meet my expectations considering the room price. I think they could benefit from using a better-smelling shower gel and shampoo.
On a positive note, the staff were friendly and provided good service throughout my stay. There is parking available behind the building, but as a woman returning late, I appreciated being able to park in front of the hotel for safety.
Overall, while there were several drawbacks, the cleanliness and service made for a decent stay.

Interesting to have a nostalgic experience to stay in an traditional house but might be a little too quiet for solo travellers. Need to climb the stairs as the bed and the washroom/pantry are on different floors. Staff was friendly and the house was spotless clean. Another plus is the strong air con in the house against the crazy heat in Malacca.

They have a small fridge in the hotel. Most importantly, lot of foods and restaurants nearby. They have a cafe and 711 next door so convenient and superb. CConnoisseur2012The hotel is across the road from the beach and the Melaka Straits. Whilst not recently refurbished the family room we were allocated was in reasonable condition and clean. The room was not carpeted but this possibly made it easier to keep clean. We arrived late in the evening but even at this time the staff were friendly and efficient. The only issue we had was the whilst breakfast was included in the price, we booked a room for two adults and two children and ended up having to pay an additional sum for two more breakfasts.
