Zagreb Hotels with Balcony

A really very pleasant hotel to enjoy a quiet stay in Zagreb while enjoying the proximity to the city center Our apartment was really well equipped, clean, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms The decor is really modern and quality The small lunch is really good with lots of choice (small downside on the scrambled eggs which are sometimes too scrambled 😊) We had dinner at the restaurant for Christmas and were very well received and served with a smile. The welcome is perfect! Free parking is a plus! A very good address in Zagreb to visit and relax without using a car

This place appears to be a bit of a somewhat well- worn kitschy relic of the Soviet era-not a negative at all. The lobby has a bunch of intriguing items that one would never see in the West. Room/bathroom were quite spacious & spartan-no issues. Only thing needed to be a 5 star review is just a basic mini-fridge as while this is close to the main bus station, it is pretty far from everything else including restaurants & grocery stores so one needs to stock up on beverages, etc. when one is not out and about. Overall, good deal for a budget hotel particularly for solo travelers like myself.

This is an excellent boutique hotel on the outskirts of central Zagreb. Extremely comfortable and quiet. The beds are super comfie which is really important on a quick international biz trip. Mark and Lorena who own the hotel are really wonderful. They made us feel welcome and were very helpful. Important to note that the hotel is not within walking distance of central Zagreb but very easy to get in by bus, taxi or Uber. Ultra modern, clean and a great breakfast. I look forward to returning!

After staying for two days, there was no service, and the bathroom towels in the room were not cleaned at all! When I took my children to the swimming pool, the waiter's attitude was extremely bad. He was only targeting Chinese people. There were a whole room of people in the room. He insisted that we speak loudly and specially recorded a video. Our voices were not ours at all. It was extremely outrageous! It feels a bit racist towards the Chinese! Not satisfied with the service here! A video of the swimming pool is provided so that everyone can see why we were so noisy. The massage SPA is arranged next to the swimming pool. It is not a bath, so how can there be no sound! When checking in, you can write a clear statement stating that children are not allowed to stay and no sound is allowed while swimming! It's so ridiculous. There was basically no sound from our child in this video. When the waiter came in, he came straight to us and asked us to remind the child to keep it down, but we didn't make any noise at all! Time and time again! This is the worst hotel experience! Service: Almost no service, no replacement of towels, no cleaning Health: Not bad Environment: To be honest, the environment is OK Facilities: OK

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doma, our host Adel was very welcoming and informative and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Set close to the city and old town. Adel gave us some great ideas for restaurants which we enjoyed immensely. All major sites were within walking distance and we also enjoyed a few of the local bars and coffee shops which were also close by.

This was the best-value family-friendly hotel we have stayed in, in a long time. The room we received was quiet, had a small kitchenette with a stove top (we made our own breakfasts) and a counter to eat at. The staff was outstanding - very helpful, friendly, and kind. The beds were VERY comfortable. The location was unbeatable. Easy walking distance to the centre of town, and within 5 min walk to tram lines to take us to museums that were farther away. The hotel was boutique-style and had a nice common space. The only drawback (and it wasn't a major one) is that one of the beds was on an elevated floor, which meant that at night, if one had to leave the bedroom, one had to remember that the bed was two steps up, and walk cautiously in the dark to use those steps carefully. (Note, I am sure this was an anomaly and only in our room because I don't see it in the photos on the website).

We stayed in that recently opened hotel at the end of April. The location of the hotel is ideal! This is the Fatih area, usually noisy, but the hotel faces a small street closed for traffic. All the main sights of this side of Istanbul and Eminönü jetty are only 10 minutes away. The hotel is not a big, rooms look standard, but they have enough space (we stayed in a Standard room). End of course it’s very nice everything is absolutely new. There is a kettle, some kind of tea, bottles of water in a room. We prefer to have breakfast outside but the hotel also serve it on the terrace. I especially want to mention Elif, who works at the reception. She helped me with a difficult situation, responded quickly and efficiently. I am sure next time I will stay in Livro hotel again.

It was amazing. Not just a hotel, but a place that feels like a friend’s house with the kindest and most welcoming people who work there. The room was very comfortable, with excellent beds and pillows. The soundproof windows, walls, and doors were great. Everything was very clean. I asked to stay longer, and they graciously allowed me to. There was also a coffee machine in the room. It was hot in Zagreb, but the hotel had great, very silent air conditioning. And everything was very stylish. There is also a beautiful terrace. The breakfast was very good, with homemade štrukli (I hope I’m spelling that correctly) with cottage cheese. Eggs were made to order, and there were smoothies. I definitely want to return here.

First off, this is very hard to get to it. No way to make it to a car it is on a pedestrian and street cars street only. You need to park somewhere close and walk to the hotel. When finally on the street good luck on finding this hotel, it is through a gangway, an alleyway with no signs of hotel name. You need to look for no. 16 and not the hotel name, you'll never find it. When finally get in, still no signs of the hotel, you need to go through a pub all the way at the back, there is a small desk, that is the reception and there is someone there only till about 10 pm. The description on the booking page says parking on site, 10 Euros. There is not, parking far away and is much more than that. Quite a distance to walk with your luggage. Rooms are spooky, black painted concrete floors, same as the ceiling. See my pictures. Walls are white with black accents. Yes, it hides the dirt pretty good. Windows are a total turn off, they do open but the ledges are all rotten and full of spider webs and mold. Simply discussing. You won't be open them regardless. The hotel, at lest one wing, faces the busy streets, street cars pass each way every 3 minutes and in the night time garbage and commercial trucks are going by non - stop. My shower has a drain issue, water wouldn't drain, shower pan get flooded. Breakfast, food wise it's fine, location though is not. It is in the pub. Imagine eating in a place where 6 hours ago people were heavy drinking and smoking. Yes there is smoking in the pub, in the building right under the rooms above. All the hallways stink. Location is good, right in the center, other than that there is no positive thing to mention. There is a to proof terrace, no food. Just drinks. It can bee seen from the ”Grad” above, the old medieval town. The pub, which is the hotel's restaurant stops serving door at 4 pm. The pub has a live band and reservations required. By 9 the whole thing is packed whether you care or not you still need though it to your room. Again, this is not the type of my place, I only picked for the location but I paid the price. Ok if you are young and there for party but sleep quality is very poor. I was there for two nights on Sep 18 and 19.
