"Welcome to Totoro's fairytale world! The entire guesthouse is filled with Totoro elements, and the overall atmosphere transports you back to the country cottage from the Totoro story. The rooms are nestled deep in a bamboo forest, all-wood structures (perfect for barefoot travelers!), with numerous windows letting in natural light. At night, the sounds of insects and the rustling of bamboo create a serene atmosphere (so the owner provides eye masks and earplugs), making you feel completely immersed in nature. The common areas include a tea room, restaurant, mahjong room, a small zoo (to be completed), a trampoline area, a media room, and a barbecue loft. The tea room is fantastic, with a wide view. We had afternoon tea, dinner, and breakfast there – a truly wonderful experience. There are also two dogs and several cats, as well as some koi fish, creating a vibrant atmosphere (the golden retriever is only four months old and not well-socialized; those who don't know how to interact with dogs should be careful, as the owner usually keeps it on a leash). It truly is an ”aesthetically pleasing” guesthouse; I look forward to returning with friends!"
