Although the location is marked as Lingchuan County, it's about a 10-minute walk from Guilin North Railway Station and about a 30-minute bus ride from Guilin West Railway Station. Getting to Guilin's old city is also very convenient; there are buses running frequently right outside the building. Upon check-in, be sure to add the security guard on WeChat for easier communication and to get the key card for the elevator. Although I stayed in a six-person room, I was the only guest during the off-season, so the male and female bathrooms were separate. The hot water in the female room is electric, not 24-hour. There's a kitchen for simple meals, but no refrigerator. The security guard downstairs was very friendly and even kindly helped me check in when I was lost. You need to bring your own toiletries, but there's a small vending machine where you can buy them at similar prices to outside.
