"The hotel is relatively new and in good health condition. The first day I called and made an appointment to pick up the car at the high-speed rail station. I checked again before getting off the high-speed train the next day and found that no car appointment was arranged. Fortunately, I confirmed again in advance and made a temporary car appointment. If I got off the train and called again, it would delay my time."

"It is across the road from Guilin West Station, a little further up the road. This is supposed to be a suburb. I didn't feel anything when I checked in during the day, but when I went out and came back in a taxi at night, it was pitch black everywhere, with no people and no shops, which was quite scary. I chose a room close to the high-speed rail station because I had to catch a train early in the morning. But the room was unexpected. We booked a parent-child room, which was very large, with good decoration and bedding. The facilities are a little old, and the bathroom has a dry and wet separation. There are only 2-3 such village homestays nearby, and this room should be the best. There is a farm restaurant in the village next to it. We had dinner at Pan's Restaurant in the city. The restaurant is very old and the environment is very average, but the taste is like those old restaurants. The Pipa Duck and Plum Spare Ribs we ordered are not bad, and the blanched cuttlefish is just average. The four dishes for three people cost less than 200 yuan."

"I stayed in two rooms, both were good overall There is a balcony on the first floor, which is convenient for viewing and has a bathroom There is a bath on the second floor, but the bathroom and toilet are very small The hotel restaurant is good and the ingredients are very good There is only one laundry room and you have to wait in line for a long time to wash clothes. I recommend this room type to those who like duplexes. I prefer ordinary river view rooms with refrigerators, large bathrooms and toilets. It is not convenient to climb a duplex with a child."

"I happened to visit Guilin during the rainy season, so I barely went out and spent almost the entire day at the hotel. On the day I checked in, I arrived quite early, and since they had rooms available, they allowed me to check in ahead of time, which was very thoughtful. The service and reception throughout my stay felt very natural; they weren't constantly trying to upsell me on things. Since I spent most of my time in the hotel room, I got to explore all its features. Even though my room wasn't on a very high floor, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the cleanliness was impeccable. I *stumbled upon a chicken pot restaurant*, and as soon as the rain let up, I went out to try it. And with that, my trip to Guilin came to an abrupt end."

"This has been truly a spectacular find. Wow wow wow!! Since before our arrival the staff has sent me a list of things to do during our stay. They have been so helpful and accommodating. It wasn't overcrowded with people. When we arrived someone took our luggage to our room and the friendliest lady gave us a tour of the surroundings and then we took an Ox cart over the river towards our room 😱. We made our own chopsticks, we swam in the river, my wife made her own tie dye scarf, and we had such a fun evening with catching fish with our bare hands🤣 My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. We will most definitely come back to this destination. This place is an absolute gem!"

The owners—a fantastic and lovely couple—made me feel more like a welcomed guest in their home than just a visitor at a hotel. The hotel itself is like a small palace, full of charm and character, and even features its own museum, which adds a unique and fascinating touch. Every single moment spent here was pure joy. The ambience is simply magical—peaceful, elegant, and full of history. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and special, treating me with genuine kindness and care. The entire place was impeccably clean, and it’s clear that a lot of love and attention goes into maintaining this gem. This is not the kind of hotel you come across every day. It’s truly one of a kind, and I feel so lucky to have discovered it. I can’t recommend it highly enough and I’ll definitely be coming back

GGuest UserI spent a long time searching on Ctrip before, and I saw this Shiyu Smart Hotel with its fresh-looking pictures and knowing it was newly renovated, well-decorated, and highly rated. So I navigated here. The lobby was very clean and bright, looking quite upscale. I actually booked after arriving at the hotel. I've had experiences before where I booked online and then the actual place was totally different, so I usually check out a place in person before booking. As soon as I walked into the lobby, I knew it was a good choice. My stay experience was genuinely excellent, definitely worth praising! It's just a few minutes' walk from the North Station. The room also had a faint, pleasant scent. It features voice AI control and a projector, making it very smart. The bed and floor in the room were spotless and very tidy. It looked incredibly comfortable. The bedding was also great, and the mattress was very comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. The hotel staff were very warm and helpful. My stay exceeded my expectations; at this price point, it's incredibly good value. It truly feels like a star-rated experience. Staying in a hotel like this for this price is just too good, an amazing deal. It was extremely clean and tidy. When I come back to Guilin for Chinese New Year, I'll definitely stay here again.

LLaladaxiongSeriously, this is one of the most comfortable hotels I've ever stayed in, and I'm going to elaborate on it. Hotel Location: Just a five-minute walk from Guilin North Station, it's very easy to find. I was initially worried about being so close to the railway tracks, but it wasn't at all. It was incredibly quiet at night. Even the green train passing by the track closest to the hotel in the morning wasn't loud at all, about the same volume as an electric train, so at night, it was practically inaudible. Facilities: There's an elevator. It seems the hotel has just opened, and it's like moving into a new building. The floors are clean, and the decor is simple and comfortable, a bit like living in your own room. My room was small, but bright and spacious enough for two suitcases. The TV was a Xiaomi, the air conditioner was a Haier, and the TV could project the screen. The hair dryer was also new. Cleanliness: Extremely clean. Upon entering the room, there was no odor at all, and the air was well ventilated. The sheets looked like new, the bed was large and comfortable, and the wooden floors were spotless. The bathroom looked very clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water, though the temperature was a little difficult to adjust and it was a bit cramped. But the cleanliness was key, and that's why I chose this hotel. The only downside is that the drain outside the shower area is a bit slow, causing water to easily accumulate. The hotel seems to rent electric bikes. I was in Guilin for a day, so I used one, but it was slow and difficult to ride. However, it only took a little over half an hour to get downtown, which was a nice breeze and a stroll. A taxi to the city center took only 20 minutes and cost just over a dozen yuan. Hotels in the city center simply don't offer this price, and students looking for cheaper options often find the facilities to be dated. Whether you're on business or pleasure, staying at a clean, affordable hotel like this will truly enhance your experience. The mattress was a bit hard and not warm enough; even with the air conditioning on, the room was warm, but the mattress was still cold. The air conditioner was also noisy, and the street-facing location made it a bit quiet. I didn't sleep well all night.

GGuest UserAlthough the location is marked as Lingchuan County, it's about a 10-minute walk from Guilin North Railway Station and about a 30-minute bus ride from Guilin West Railway Station. Getting to Guilin's old city is also very convenient; there are buses running frequently right outside the building. However, since it's not in Guilin City, you'll need to walk a short distance to use an electric scooter. Upon check-in, be sure to add the security guard on WeChat for easier communication and to get the key card for the elevator. Although I stayed in a six-person room, I was the only guest during the off-season, so the male and female bathrooms were separate. The hot water in the female room is electric, not 24-hour. There's a kitchen for simple meals, but no refrigerator. The security guard downstairs was very friendly and even kindly helped me check in when I was lost. You need to bring your own toiletries, but there's a small vending machine where you can buy them at similar prices to outside.

We arrived quite late in the evening (around 10:00 p.m.), the hosts were waiting for us. The room provided to us was very spacious, with two large beds, the shower was also large. We did not need anything. But the cleanliness of the room was not ideal.
