"The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick. She even thoughtfully asked if I needed late-night snacks delivered to my room in the evening, and sent me a message in the morning to have breakfast delivered to my room. The service was excellent, and I had a very good overall impression of the front desk!
The cleanliness was good; the front desk called to inquire about housekeeping and arranged for a staff member to clean, which made me feel very reassured!
The bedding was soft and comfortable, greatly improving my sleep quality. Highly recommended!

Please note that from the West Gate, you'll need to walk through about 200 meters of commercial pedestrian street to reach the ticket office, so those who mind walking should consider this.
The hotel's decor is a bit dated, but judging by its early design, it seems to have aimed for a 4-5 star standard. In the humid Guiyang rainy season, the commercial-grade washer-dryer in the lobby is especially practical. The lobby also offers Miao village-style photo shoots, so you don't need to look for one once inside the scenic area.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, and it's quite accommodating as you can still eat if you arrive a little late. The cleanliness and service were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. On a lucky rainy season morning, you might even catch a breathtaking sea of clouds. For those who prefer to avoid the noisy atmosphere of guesthouses within the village, this hotel outside the scenic area is an excellent choice."

The hanging building built on the mountain, blended the batik intangibles into the space, the room was transparent and clean, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were opened to the mountain valley. There is no noise, the manager is intimate and thoughtful, slow down and immersive feeling Miao Village's unique quiet and gentle, very suitable for coming here to put fatigue. Very recommended (*≧∪≦) 👍

Guest UserThe room was clean and odor-free! It's about a five or six-minute walk from Kaili South Station. Downstairs, there are plenty of restaurants, all affordably priced. The owner was incredibly warm and sincere, even helping me hang my laundry – really appreciate that! 👍🏻 The room offered great value for money; for just over 100 RMB, it was very comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water. It was quiet at night too! The owner recommended a restaurant nearby, I think it was called Qianwei Restaurant? I've forgotten the exact name, but the food was delicious and cheap. All in all, a fantastic experience!! It's also only about a 40-minute taxi ride to Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village.

ReaidexiaobanliI stayed overnight in Xijiang. It was a guesthouse converted from a family home. The exterior looked old, but the room was quite nice. The basic amenities met my needs. It was a great deal for the price. The owner was very accommodating. When I mentioned that there was no kettle in the room, he immediately brought one over. The location was easy to find. Just follow the navigation after exiting the high-speed rail station.

Lisa P BI felt so welcomed and comfortable at this boutique hotel in ancient Xaisi. I understood that this hotel was in an older part of Kaili. On further exploration I found it to be in an extremely historic an ancient village of Xiasi that spanned many dynasties. Within walking distance to can find architecture that represents Qing and other dynasties . Xiasi’s streets reveal layers of history where Han, Miao, and merchant cultures converge. Stone streets, wooden covered bridges, decorated eaves, bell towers, and imperial and domestic courtyards reflect exquisite craftsmanship. My room overlooked the Qingjiang River. It was beautiful appointments with indigo fabric details. I especially liked the Chinese red chair. My room also have a spacious balcony. The owner took care of me like I was her daughter. It was so sweet. The central courtyard of the hotel is a lush garden. I loved exploring Xiasi during the quiet off-season. Its enchanting alleyways and ancient architecture is extraordinary. It’s especially romantic as evenings falls and this historic village is lit by red lanterns. I highly recommend this hotel. I look forward to returning.

The location of the homestay is very good, just near the pedestrian shopping street of Xiasi Ancient Town, downstairs is a very atmospheric coffee shop, travel and foraging are very convenient. The boss is very friendly and welcoming, giving people a feeling of going home. The room was cleaned very clean and lived in peace of mind. The most pleasant surprise is the river view outside the window, the view is wide, the scenery is super beautiful! JohnUKThis is such an authentic place to stay and a perfect location in the ancient town. My room was great and overlooked the river and at night the lights were beautiful. The hosts are super helpful and all my questions were answered using translation apps. The fact no one spoke English didn’t matter as we communicated effectively using the apps. The family cooked me a lovely dinner in the evening and everyone was so friendly and helpful. This is a really lovely ancient town not visited by many foreigners. If you want to visit an authentic real ancient town I recommend you stay here. Such great value for money.
