For someone like me, who usually has trouble sleeping in new places, I actually slept soundly until morning – perfect sleep quality! We went to this hotel on a family trip and booked a lodge. We arrived after dark, the hotel team was helpful in getting us to our lodge, although the languange barrier was clear. Transport was done by electric carts. The lodge was cosy and comfortable, with a nice terrace with wetlands view. Good beds, and a spacious bathroom. It was clean. The dinner we had was good for people liking chinese food (kind of chinese barbeque). The breakfast was chinese too, which may be an issue for people who are into more traditional western breakfast. The buffet was diverse, a lot to choose. The location of the venue is great, plenty of activities for families. We were there during Golden Week. Perfect temperature (10-15 degrees), blue skies... We can recommend this hotel and its amenities and would go back again.

It’s rare to have a holiday. I decided to go to Ulan Butong. My friend went first and recommended this super amazing hotel to me. It’s especially convenient to go to the scenic spot or eat outside. When I saw my friend saying that I could see the grassland outside when I was lying on the bed, I didn’t hesitate for a second. Place an order immediately! After I arrived, I found that the wrong room was set. The front desk lady immediately agreed to change the room type, and also upgraded. Extra breakfast was given (the breakfast was delicious). This hotel, in my opinion, is simply overrated and lacks warmth. The smart speaker, smart curtains, and high-tech toilet might seem like a plus, but honestly, they're just a novelty. You wouldn't miss them if they weren't there. Now, for everything else... No shower slippers – and their response is 'we don't have them at our hotel.' Is that something to be proud of? Then there's the noise issue. You can't open the window because of the racket outside, and being right across from the elevator means constant noise. I barely slept last night. The room only had two pillows, which were too high and uncomfortable. The room itself is small; if you open your suitcase, you can't even walk around. You have to close it and put it away just to move. But the absolute funniest (and most shocking) moment was around 7:30 or 8:00 AM when a staff member knocked, and without waiting for a response, just swiped their card and walked in! They saw we were asleep, told someone else 'there are people sleeping here,' and then left. How ridiculous is that? All in all, this was the worst accommodation experience of my Inner Mongolia trip. Oh, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk was unstaffed. The receptionist was sitting on a sofa smoking – smoking! My child asked me, 'Mom, do girls here smoke too?' I didn't even know how to answer!

You don't have to go to crowded places during the National Day holiday, and the scenery is unique here. Later, a few days, I stayed in an American-style tent twin room. Everyone may feel cold. Even if it is not warm autumn, the room is equipped with graphene electric heating fans and electric blankets. It is very comfortable. Compared with the starry sky cabin, I prefer to live in a tent. There is no separate bathroom. There are four toilets and a bathroom with a bath behind the tent. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, but because it is a new homestay, I hope that the hardware conditions of the next visit can be further upgraded, so that the experience of staying in the tent will be better. The boss of the company is very talkative and hospitable If you want to experience the feeling of cross-country, on the grassland, he is very familiar, can ask him and even he can take you to cross-country. The proprietress of the homestay is a very experienced, strict, and very good equestrian coach. The child has been trained several times by her. The ability to ride wild on the grassland is getting stronger and stronger. I hope that I can come to stay for a few days to learn horse riding every holiday in the future.
