We stayed at the Marriott Vancouver Airport hotel in Richmond for 3 nights in July 2024 and it was excellent. The staff at the front desk were amazing and helpful. The breakfast burritos at the 75 Restaurant was excellent and came with a bowl of fruits. Cleaning staff were excellent. Parking was easy and plentiful. Ubers were fast and plentiful. The pool, hot tub and gym were too notch. It’s an amazing experience but the prices of hotels in Vancouver are not cheap, in general.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed, right in the middle of Richmond with the Asian food scene. Booked a Junior suite with nice décor but dark bedroom with only 1 lamp in the bedroom side. Lots of electrical and USB outlets. Breakfasts (for the 3 nights we stayed) were always a hectic with short staffed, long wait, and slow buffet food replenishments (only 3 kinds of hot food, fruits, juice, cereals, yogurt, oatmeal, and bread/muffins. Uncleared Diamond Hilton Honors member benefits which I have reported to the management on feedback form. The written form clearly started one way but all hotel staffs interpreted it otherwise, and the staff thought I was trying to take advantage of the situation when I tried to clarified. The management should rephrase the appetizer and drink benefit if all the staffs interpreted it differently as it was written.

We stayed here for a night in Feb, in the North Tower room 355 as a family. We have passed this hotel many times to know it's an older hotel and a staple of Richmond but just never had a chance to stay. It's definitely a more business/convention clientele hotel. The weekend we were there they were hosting a power lifting convention and hotel was completely sold out. The front desk was a hit or miss. Because our rooms weren't ready when we first arrived, we had to go to the front desk multiple times, and the experiences ranged from staff being aloof to being barely business courteous. The lobby area was large and has a restaurant and Starbucks connected which was convenient. Overnight parking was $21 which was pretty standard here in Richmond and parking seems aplenty. The hallways were dark and one of the tower elevators was broken the whole time we were there and for the only other elevator, the door sometimes wouldn't open all the way - not exactly comforting. The fitness room was relatively large with both cardio machines, and small free weights section. As for the room, it was definitely a bit weathered and dated. There were no USB plugs, and while the bathroom was larger, the door lock was broken. It did have a balcony, safe, and what surprised me, was a microwave. I called the front desk to see if they had slippers for in room use, but they were charging $5 a pair - hmm no thanks. The beds were comfortable but our room was close to the elevator so with the convention folks, it was pretty loud.

As many reviews have noted, the hotel shuttle service to & from the airport is excellent. We arrived late (around 11 PM) & easily caught the shuttle to the hotel. After staying overnight, we took the shuttle back to the airport the next morning, & then took the Canada Line SkyTrain to reach the port for our cruise. This hotel was perfect for our needs. It was much more cost-effective than other hotels closer to the port, yet still allowed for easy & affordable access - 30 minutes to the port, costing $20 for 2. One thing to note is that while the hotel appears fairly modern at first glance, a closer look reveals its 1990s setup. For instance, there were virtually no plug-ins available for our two cell phones and a laptop. We had to unplug the outdated drip-filter, single-cup coffee maker (definitely NOT a Keurig) just to charge the laptop. The air conditioning unit was somewhat obtrusive & loud, so I recommend bringing earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Additionally, there was some water damage in the bathroom ceiling that needed attention. That said, considering the price and our requirements—a clean, comfortable place to sleep for 8 hours —I was pleased with this find & would likely book here again if I were departing for a cruise in Vancouver. Chop Steakhouse is on the ground floor, but we opted for Denny's, which is a five-minute walk away, accessible both indoors & outdoors. We had a lovely view of the dumpster in the back but again, we weren't there for the view!

As a homestay enthusiast who loves traveling, a former overseas homestay owner, and someone who doesn't like to comment on hotels, I was deeply amazed by this living experience:
1. Overall impression:
What you see is what you get. The landlord is super enthusiastic, considerate and patient.
2. Geographical location:
Very close to the international airport, about 10-15 minutes by taxi, there is a bus stop nearby, 6 minutes walk, there is also a small business district (although I didn't go there), and it takes about 25 minutes by bus to reach the skytrain station.
3. Surrounding environment
It belongs to the rich area. When the Uber driver took a taxi here, he said that this area belongs to the Chinese rich area. In Vancouver, the Chinese rich area means safety and cleanliness.
4. The landlord himself
The communication was very warm. When I left, I chatted with the landlord sister and got a general understanding of the changes in Vancouver in recent years. I was impressed by the landlord sister's advanced ideas and excellent way of dealing with people.
5. Room interior
Almost everything you need is available, and it is basically high-end. Sorry, the B&Bs I stayed in before didn't have so many details, which made me feel very surprised.
There are Vida wet wipes on the toilet in the bathroom, and there is a water heater in the room, which is a very high-end one, not a 100-dollar kettle.
The sheets and bedding are very clean and warm. Although it is summer, you still need to cover yourself with a thick quilt at night in Vancouver. The down quilt at the landlord's house feels sticky but not heavy. And it smells good, much cleaner than my house. 4 pillows, super safe to sleep.
There are windows in the bathroom, too. When you get up in the morning, you can open the windows in the bedroom and bathroom for ventilation.
Generally speaking, it is one of the top B&Bs I have stayed in, and I can call it home next time I come to Vancouver.

Hotel guest services is very poor upon arrival, only focussed on bus service to airport. Way to much valuable free time when no bus runs to airport, that could be sanitizing sitting areas. Very poor communication, information sheet of what the hotel has to offer is only at the front desk. Basically who ever deserves to know the services they offer. The service clerk put that blame on our facilitator, ” That was your facilitator that should have informed you, she had all your keys!” Like every hotel has all those informal sheets provided in all guest rooms. My facilitator is not your employee, she was a guest along with us. Stayed there for 6 days, they considered that a long period of stay and they do not service rooms unless requested. Upon my request was for fresh washcloths, the bed was made the full garbage bins were left and no fresh washcloths as requested. Service clerk turned into a joke and claimed she did not know what I was talking about and did not know what a washcloth was. The filthiest gym, after I had walked in, I really needed to do my exercises. That was my first and last. I was concerned of contracting a staph infection from that hotel. My dozen of eggs and all my vegetables and dip froze in the fridge, the manager said all he can do is offer me a free Breakfast. I replied no, the service on your busiest day the servers have no patience, And my dip alone cost the amount of a breakfast, I can not eat too much restaurant food because I get sick very easy! My vegetables I had provided and accommodate was meant for my lunch during my whole stay. For a very busy hotel I am sure that staff is well informed ahead of time to be mindfully prepared of the amount of guests to be expected for all service provided by hotel. Very poor at the baggage storage, provide tickets, no consistency with tickets, my belongings were seperated, had to return back to hotel to retrieve my belongings, manager claim no contact information or my contact number. Ridiculously EXPENSIVE hotel filled with poor services from front desk to restaurant. Food is very good !
Convenient location, there are shops nearby! The room was clean and the space was enough. The environment is quiet and comfortable, the butler service is good, I will come back next time I have a chance ~

What a great experience my sister and I had while staying at Stone Hedge with Brian and Linda. They are greatest hosts ever we were so spoiled right from the minute we were picked up at the airport. We arrived at the B and B to flower petals in the toilet and lovely clean room where we freshened up and then followed Brian’s directions 2 blocks to have our dinner. That night we slept like babies in those comfortable beds. It was so nice to get up early and make a cup of tea in the little kitchenette just off our room where we could make coffee/tea. We had a very early tour so Brian and Linda made us a to go bag what a nice surprise! After a long day Brian picked us up at the bus and brought us back to the B and B and surprised us with Mr Cooper pies and sweet potatoes, they were delicious! Next day we had a four course breakfast and off to the cruise port we we went we had a knowledgeable tour along the way. I wood come back to this B and B in a heartbeat thank you so much Brian and Linda😁

JJoanneLeeKZWhen we arrived there was an power outage in that area. Luckily that was resolved in the end. We were allowed to store out luggages with them before our check in. The room was clean and nice. I would only recommend this hotel is there is a flight to catch and the hotel offers a 24 hr shuttle. The driver was helpful. Otherwise, not much within Richmond to explore, I would prefer to stay in downtown. Hotel was a distance from train station.
GGuest UserThe restaurant at this hotel was soooo nice; but even nicer was our waiter, Remi. We had our daughter's mother in-law visiting from Morocco this past weekend. She knew very little English; however, Remi saved the day. He knew Parisian French and was able to converse with her very easily. It made our dinner time together very special. Remi also kept watch over us and gave ideas as to how better enjoy our dinner. Thank you Remi~! You are a wonderful ”young man” and so appreciated by us. The Lord bless you. The Davis Family
HHowardThe environment is very quiet, very comfortable, the room is very clean, the hall can also be seated, look at the community scenery outside, complete the feeling of how to come to Vancouver life is. Very comfortable and slow, and there is a lot of coffee tea in the kitchen.
If I want to come again, I will definitely come back to this [ Quiet House ] It's great.
