Pet friendly Hotels Baku

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Our stay at the Holiday Inn Baku was very comfortable.The Staff was warm and helpful. The Location is excellent. The Breakfast was sumptuous and the timings relaxed. One member of the Staff at breakfast took it on himself to remind us to come early, everyday. On a lighter note ! No complaints, we were always served well. The Rooms are large and well appointed, it was important for us as it was an 8 days stay. I would strongly recommend this Hotel for Stay in Baku.

I had a great stay at ibis Baku on my trip to Baku, this was my 2nd trip and 2nd stay at the same hotel, rooms are still refreshing and looks quite new and updated, every other facilities are available which is mandatory , the staff is courteous and helpful in all the aspects. My special thanks to Mr. Bashir ( Duty Manager) for helping me and assisting through out the stay. He really goes out of his way to make sure the guests are happy and satisfied. Thanks to the other team members namely - Rufat and Naila as they kept meeting me all the time when I was at hotel during my stay, Overall a decent stay to remember and would definitely be coming again and again once I am in Baku again. Great hotel, stylish and beautiful. The hospitality of the staff is amazing with care and friendliness. You feel like you are among friends from the first minute. The breakfasts are wonderful, very tasty and varied! Not only were we not mistaken in choosing the hotel, but we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere in general. The location is superior, more than 2 kilometers straight from the seaside, you can walk to the Maiden Tower Scenic Area and Haibin Avenue Park. Comfortable room, generous breakfast, good service! High cost performance

Facilities: Generally speaking, it is useless. Breakfast starts at 8 o'clock. The variety of food is a bit poor. The most delicious ones are biscuits. Health: Not bad, very clean Environment: Not in the downtown area, but it’s more convenient to take a taxi Service: The overall service level in Azerbaijan is very average. If you don’t have expectations, you won’t be disappointed😞 It is worth mentioning that the hotel did not know that the rights were exchanged for early check-in and breakfast. You can do this after communicating with customer service later.

Rested with her husband in this hotel in August 2019. The hotel in principle liked. Breakfasts are delicious, choice is good, it was delighted. As for the room: The bed is soft, the conder works perfectly, the t with Russian channels is, also pleased mini-bar, teapot, cup and tea with coffee. Staff responsive, pleasant. Of the downsides: location. Still to the center is far away. Walking is not so fast. And the transfer cost 29 manats, while back we left by local taxi for 15 manats. Also from the downside, we arrived at almost 23 00, hungry. In the hotel restaurant as we realized no longer worked, cafe nearby almost no, and those that have worked up to 23. The staff told us that alas, taxis take only cash and had to go to bed hungry. Although it turned out later, taxis ride great. And yes, eat only in the center. Other all good))

Good service, good breakfast, close to the Maiden Tower

We popped in for a cocktail and then went to the toilet beautiful setting, amazing service.....couldn't have asked for more....we only went in for 1 drink so I'm struggling to write.... 200 characters.......!@#£%^&*(((((((()))((((((

The hotel is in a good location. You can get there by walking through the garden after getting off the airport bus. The airport bus is also nearby. Because of the road construction around, it is a bit roundabout to get to the subway station. The hotel is in a building on the roadside. The front is not conspicuous. The check-in time requirement is quite strict. If you arrive too early, you can't check in. The hotel is relatively old but the price-performance ratio is very high. The room rate is cheap, the suite area is large, the breakfast is enough to eat but not rich, and it is very cost-effective to go out every day and come back to sleep at night.
