What a wonderful place. Great breakfast and such a beautiful location right by the fjord

Clean.

The staff was very professional and friendly. Check-in was successful already at 12 noon which was quite a surprise. The room was clean and the views from the window were amazing. The food was excellent both in the fish restaurant and at breakfast. A couple of things that could improve the customer experience at breakfast in my opinion would be bigger plates and if the names of the different dishes were visible. I hope I will visit Gudvangen again someday and get to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a good location, convenient for travel, and the surrounding environment is also very beautiful. It is only a few meters away from the cruise ship terminal. The front desk service is warm, the breakfast is delicious, and the room is clean and bright. It is a very cost-effective hotel. In fact, you don't have to stay in Flam to stay in this hotel

The room is very good. We added an extra bed and accommodated three people. It is much better to stay here than in Flam.

I was in a hurry to book the trip and the hotel in flam was fully booked, so I had to book this one. It was a pleasant surprise. I was afraid that there would be no food in the hotel for dinner, so I ate at flam. I slapped my thighs when I got here! There is a seafood restaurant here! There are few people at night (almost no one) and the scenery is beautiful! Every breath is a pleasure. It's too comfortable to sit outdoors and drink by the fire. When I returned to flam the next day, I really felt that it was like a vegetable market. The contrast was too strong. I won't talk about the room, which is similar to flam's, both are very bad... I could barely sleep...

Opposite to Flam, if you think the price of Flam hotel is high, you might as well choose here. There are Fjord Cruise and shuttle bus connected to Flam, and the environment is relatively quiet, if the trip is not too rushed, you can consider it. Gudvangen has a Viking village, which can also be used as one of the itineraries.
