Hôtel du Donjon Reviews

We had a great stay at Hotel du Donjon. The room were small and quaint. The bed was a full which was a little small for my wife and I but it was fine. The first day we got there it was a very hot day and no A/C. Boy are we all spoiled nowadays. There was a fan which made it bearable and the window opened so there was a breeze. The next day it got back to normal and cooled off and it was pleasant from then on. We didn’t have the breakfast but it looked wonderful. The coffee in the mornings was excellent. I speak no French and their English was iffy but Google translate was in for the win.

A very pleasant couple of nights in the centre of Aulnay. A very friendly and helpful bilingual (French/English) hostess. The hotel has oodles of character and has been tastefully decorated whilst retaining functional charm. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet. Evening meals are available if-pre-booked but you will be directed to excellent restaurants nearby if you don't book in advance. An excellent breakfast with an extensive collection of quality ingredients. The evening meal was good: excellent starter of salmon, ok gammon with gravy and ok rum baba. Very good wine to accompany. A most enjoyable stay to which we would unhesitatingly return to if we return to this area.

On the way to Saint Jacques, a comfortable little paradise, tastefully decorated. A very kind hostess and host. Pleasant and friendly dinner. If I leave I will stop at their place again, thank you very much.

Small hotel with 10 rooms with a discreet entrance which does not reflect the interior and especially the courtyard at the rear of the building. This is a significant plus in good weather for resting or other purposes. It is well placed with, 50 meters away, a large square (a market on Sunday morning) where you can park (no charge) Small downside, the Rooms are not air-conditioned but a standing fan is at your disposal in each of them. The breakfast is very good, for the savory, there is a supplement. The managers are friendly and attentive to all requests

A hotel in the small town of Aulnay with free parking spaces on the village square. A hotel with decent bedding in our room on the top floor. A breakfast offered with pastries and bread. The owners of the place are friendly.

hotel tres agreable. proprietaire tres sympa et a l'ecoute des hotes. petit dej tres copieux chambres spacieuse et tres propre. nous avons passe un tres bon weekend du 8 mai 2025. plein de choses a visiter au alentours. petit village sympa. nous y retournerons en couple ou famille. Merci beaucoup pour cet agreable sejour.

Petit hôtel familial. L'accueil est chaleureux et bienveillant. Les chambres très propres. Petit déjeuner est simple mais efficace. L'hôtel dispose d'une petite terrasse pleine de charme où l'on peut se poser pour prendre son café. A recommander si l'on souhaite passer un moment plein de charme et de simplicité
