Hotel Amalia Athens Reviews

Hotel Amalia is undergoing some renovations, but was still excellent in all aspects. Location is great for exploring Athens. Walking distance to Acropolis, Agora, Plaka. Bus or metro stations just outside, including bus or metro to airport. Avoid taxis in Athens if possible. They con and cheat tourists. 

The property is located conveniently near Syntagma Square. Near the train station and the airport bus service.Nearby tourist attractions within walking distance enhances the hotel's popularity. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of fruits, desserts, cakes & pastries and the usual Greek fare of Cheeses & Hummus. Bacons , Eggs & sausages are something I find the hotel has gone the extra mile to provide for guests. Juices and hot teas & coffee was an extra gem. Staffs were very helpful & friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent cost-effective. Hotel very well located, few steps from subway in the central area. Welcome chocolates for the guests.Very good service from the reception staff. Very nice roof top restaurant, in the 7th floor. Amazing view and delicious food!!! Thank you!

The location of hotel is excellent, very close to the x95 bus station and Syntagma metro station. Breakfast buffet is good, great variety of food and many of them are tasty. The beds and other furniture are not modern but clean. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Acropolis and shops. It could get quite noisy as it is right next to the roads. The gym is also very minimal. Overall, not bad for its price point

Good hotel location. Just 5 minutes from Syntagma station, where you could take the M3 train from the airport directly to the station. The hotel was a bit old. The scramble egg of the breakfast was nice, others were fair. Nice staffs.

Perfect location, clean rooms and well trained staff. Not much more one needs to ask for.
