Our stay was nothing short of FANTASTIC! Masako gave the BEST customer service and worked with us daily for any requests, reservations, questions, etc. She was the major reason our vacation was such a success! I highly recommend this resort! We like to stay at the resort vice exploring/driving and there was so much to do!! We stayed three nights right in the thick of rainy season and it still didn’t disappoint! So many indoor activities for our toddler and when the sun popped out each day, we were able to do some outdoor activities (they offer SO MANY) :) We would come back again and again. Our dinners were very good and a great breakfast buffet each morning was included in our rate. My advice is to stay in the south tower—very quiet, stunning view of the ocean, and many amenities included :)

Parking - 10/10: The parking area is available for a reasonable fee of 1000 yen per day. It is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk away from the hotel and has ample parking spaces. Additionally, the hotel provides frequent transport service between the hotel and the parking area. Environment - 10/10: The surroundings are well-maintained, and the facilities are clean and in good condition. Kid-friendly - 10/10: The hotel is exceptionally child-friendly. Upon check-in, the front office staff provided my son with a kid pack, and the facilities are thoughtfully designed to cater to children's needs. This hotel is an older property that doesn't quite live up to the standard you'd expect from an Intercontinental hotel in a major city. While the rooms are dated, the hotel's beach and pool are great amenities, and there are fireworks displays in some of the nights at the pool. The hotel can get quite crowded, especially during peak summer season when I visited. With only 2 elevators servicing all floors, be prepared to wait a bit to get to your room. The breakfast options are varied, 3 restaurants each offering different breakfast - Western, Japanese, and local Okinawan selections, but they tend to be very busy in the mornings. The local staff were friendly, though the foreign staff could be less than polite in their interactions. Overall, itl is an aging property that doesn't quite live up to the Intercontinental brand, but the great outdoor facilities and location make it an acceptable choice for a stay in the area.

A sincere smile and attentive service from the staff make you feel at home, enjoying the refreshing bay and delightful cuisine. Breakfast options include Western set menu, Japanese set menu, and a buffet. The set meals take longer to serve, but the buffet has no wait after 9 AM and offers a wide variety. A five-star resort hotel with three pools (infinity, large, and children's) and a small splash pool. Staff provide towels and bottled water at the poolside loungers, with paid food options available. The private beach is a 10-minute walk to the loungers. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and great for staying in all day. It's recommended to stay at least two days to fully enjoy the hotel's atmosphere and amenities. You can still use the amenities even after you check out tho which is nice. Transportation: Driving is necessary (parking fee JPY 1500/day).

A rather old hotel which desperately needs remodeling. The bed covers were old and stained, totally disgusting! We had to ask the housekeeping to change into different bedding sheets twice! The bathrooms are also out of date with poor quality washing basins. The furniture in the room were old, damaged and carpet badly stained.

Your options at the hotel are dependent on what “level” you have which is dependent on how many nights you stay (?) and what color card you are given to wear around your neck. This information is based on our family having stayed five nights with a gold card. Pros – Nice beach, free lounge chairs and umbrella (gold card), free breach towels, free activities such as the banana boat ride (gold card), and the “glass bottom boat ride (gold card), free mask and snorkel for both adults and kids! The two buffets were nice. We went to the first floor on the first day, the second floor (gold card) buffet on the remaining days for breakfast. Fluffy pancakes, raspberry French toast, eggs benedict which were not offered on the first floor. Great view of the ocean, nice, clean room, and friendly staff. Very helpful. Cons – you have to line up in the morning to book any activity, only two per family unless you get back in line. Well, the Japanese love to line up, for hours, so enjoy the wait. Only two computers for booking and maybe and maybe several hundred rooms at the hotel? Same with the buffet, on both floors. Enjoy the wait! The free beach towels were only offered at the inside pool, but you can take them to the beach. Why so far away from the beach? Finally, the outside pool closes at 5:00 PM! Sunset is not until 7:00 PM! This is ridiculous! And if you swim in the ocean, no life jacket required. If you use a mask, no life jacket required. If you use fins, no life jacket required. However, the moment you use a snorkel, you must wear a life jacket. Not sure how to explain that. What I hate about this hotel is the animals they have locked up in tiny cages. A wallaby in a cage the size of a bathroom. Sea turtles locked up in small pools. Tiny pools. African turtles in small enclosures. Exotic birds in small cages, dolphins locked up, and manta rays locked up. Not fun to see that at all and everyone seems unsympathetic to their plight.

There are also Ryukyu cuisine, so you can have a fun meal that you can't think of as a breakfast. The next day, I lost the cold and made it a Western food in the hotel building. I'm glad I came ～ !! It's delicious here too! The number of items is not large, but it is carefully made. Red potatoes are delicious. I went there the next day, but the soup changed to minestrone to clam chowder. You can also make taco rice and bagel sandwiches. There are also many toppings. The staff here are very friendly. There was a deli on the ２ floor of the hotel building. Unfortunately I never used it, but it looked very delicious. I will eat next time! BBQ blue is also the best. I used it for my daughter's birthday celebration, but I was delighted to have a birthday plate with incense fireworks. I have already booked ４ Moon, ５ Moon, but location, price, especially meals!
