Jianshui Apartments

The hotel is close to Chaoyang Tower in the ancient city. Jianshui is a very good hotel. I forgot to take a photo of the room. Maybe I suddenly felt dizzy and couldn't walk, so I had to lie down at night to get better. So now I don't remember it deeply. Anyway, it's quite big and comfortable. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The sink countertop can hold a lot of bottles and cans. I found that the conditions of hotels and inns in Yunnan are good, better than those in Chengdu and western Sichuan. Toiletries, slippers and hair dryers are all available. There are many sockets in the room. The toilets are relatively clean whether they are in scenic spots, public toilets or small restaurants. The grass sprout rice noodles in the morning are also delicious, and the lotus root powder is also delicious. The ancient city is quite good to visit. I also took the Jianshui train the next day. It was really interesting. The steamed chicken, grass sprout meat slices, grilled tofu, and porcini mushrooms of Fujian cuisine are all delicious. The peanut soup with cramps is also good. I also ordered osmanthus and red dates drink. There was too much soup and water and I couldn't drink it, but because I liked it very much, I packed it back to the hotel. The strawberries in Jianshui are not very delicious, but the blueberries are okay. The Jianshui barbecue we had in the evening was okay, and I also bought a few purple pottery tea cups. Anyway, I will stay at Lin'an Hotel when I come to Jianshui in the future.

The hotel is located in the center of Xiaogui Lake. The other side of the lake is very lively and quiet. The waiters are very friendly, the rooms are large and the facilities are complete. The hotel has thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea, souvenirs and high-speed rail pick-up services, making you feel at home.

Stayed over enroute to Dali from Xinjie. Good location within walking distance to old town n places of interests. Lovely “hotel” with hospitable hosts, providing typically Chinese breakfast of rice porridge and condiments, tasty soup rice noodles, steamed bread buns, sweet potatoes, etc You also get a simple lunch of Chinese porridge n condiments, and some cooked veg items n meat. And also an afternoon tea which we missed. It’s sort of a pottery studio too and guests are also invited to have Chinese tea there. Well decorated with lovely plants all around. Only drawback is the toilet in the room which does not have a door. However, overall a good stay.

During this trip to Jianshui, I was deeply impressed by Jianshui Mushang Hotel (Zitao Street Branch). The room is decorated very carefully, it is clean and bright, the furniture is neatly arranged, and the lighting and ventilation are good. The hotel enjoys a unique location, right next to Purple Pottery Street. Just a few minutes' walk away, you can taste special foods such as grilled tofu and cold noodles, and also select exquisite purple pottery handicrafts. The room rate includes not only breakfast but also lunch, giving travelers more choices. Returning to the hotel at night, the quiet and comfortable environment makes people relax quickly. This stay was a great experience, with great value for money.

Staying at Sichenyuan Hotel is the biggest surprise of this trip to Jianshui. The location of the hotel is very good. It is only more than 100 meters away from the ancient city. It is quiet and unique in the bustle. An old house with traditional Chinese characteristics, Chinese-style furniture and modern bathrooms provide a very comfortable living experience. Special thanks to the handsome waiter Deng Yunlong for his very warm and thoughtful service. Considering that there were elderly people staying, he helped us upgrade our room to a suite for free. We had the opportunity to live in a small private courtyard with a small patio, small garden and privacy. The sex was very good. The hotel also offers free afternoon tea. You can sit by the pond on the first floor or in the study room on the second floor to enjoy the beautiful scenery and sip tea. Breakfast is also good, including traditional Jianshui specialty snacks rice noodles and rolled noodles, as well as various snacks and porridge, as well as fragrant freshly brewed coffee. There are calligraphy and paintings hanging all over the hotel, giving it a very elegant and scholarly atmosphere. Each step in the yard has a view, including a pond surrounded by rockeries, a pavilion with a gentle breeze, and various pine potted plants. The store thoughtfully provides parasols, seats, and meditation cushions, so you can spend an afternoon in a daze. It is really a place to sit. A great place to completely unwind. I will stay here next time I come to Jianshui.

The room was clean and hygienic. The front desk lady and brother were warm and thoughtful. They took an elderly man in his seventies out and upgraded the room. They thoughtfully placed the medicine for the elderly in the hotel refrigerator and gave breakfast coupons. They took the train back in the morning and the elderly needed oxygen and they also delayed check-out. There is also free ice cream in the hotel lobby! The hotel is very close to the small train station, just a few minutes' walk away. I will come again next time.

The hotel environment is very good! The housekeeper was super nice. He was waiting for us at the door in advance to help us carry our luggage and check in. We wanted to try local Yunnan coffee beans, so the manager gave me a coffee coupon for the cafe opposite us. In the afternoon, my husband and I had afternoon tea and worked in the yard. I felt very relaxed.

I prepared a short trip with my family on the weekend. I booked the ”Second Flower Blooming” Inn, a double bed room and a twin room. The navigation went directly to the alley. I saw the full open bougainvillea at a glance. I knew it. The boss personally directed the reverse and parked at the entrance of the inn, very relieved. When checking in, the boss saw that he was taking the elderly out and took the initiative to arrange the room to the first floor and it was an adjacent two houses, which was easy to take care of. Thank you very much for your care and caring. The room is large and comfortable, clean, the mattress is moderately firm, and there are disposable towels, bath towels and toilet sets. The small courtyard of the inn is clean and tidy and beautiful. The boss also introduced several restaurants to be frugal, especially the early shop introduced. His small pot rice noodles won my heart. The inn can visit the Confucian Temple, Zhujia Garden and other attractions not far from the inn. I also saw the ”opening ceremony” held in the Confucian Temple. It is very meaningful. The family had a great time this weekend.
